this thread is a perfect example of it. i thought it had gotten to the point where this kind of thing was actually no big deal, especially after hearing about 2 females getting jiggy with it in a ravers club, was the new thang to do, but we never change and this is one area where maybe that is a good idea.

There is no way they can fake the term of the pregnancy, she will have to go to doctors it would get out, all of America will be able to gauge the birth date

First of all, have you guys heard of Irish twins? They could easily be lying and saying she is 5 months pregnant, when she is really 3 months pregnant in actuality.

Yes, I've heard of them ... as a matter of fact, people joke that I have Irish quadruplets because I had four daughters in 3 1/2 years, but I do NOT think that is the case.

Downes syndrome, as somebody pointed out earlier in the thread, happens far more frequently with older mothers than younger mothers. The fact that Trig has Downes isn't by any means 'proof' that Sarah is the mother, but statistically, the chances of Sarah having a baby with Downes is FAR more likely than Bristol having a child with Downes.

I think that it's time to give up the silly rumor of Trig being Bristols and accept the fact that Trig IS the son of Sarah Palin.

Even Obama is asking you to stop with the vicious rumors and said he will fire anyone working for him that is contributing to this smear campaign.

well i didn't plan it. i've never voted repub in my life. i've voted democrat and independent but never repub. doesn't mean i can't agree with things some of them say though. but the part i'm really paying attention to, is how different females are treated. i can't wait to show this thread to my daughter. i want her to see, in action, what i have been trying to explain to her for years.

Vetted? They didn't know, or else it wouldn't have been such a surprise; they would have brought it up right away.

Sarah Palin's toast; she will be returning home to AK soon to take care of her infant son and her grandchild and continue as Governor.

Poor John didn't need this in the middle of his campaign. He needs to be
talking about how he is going to fix the economy not about teenage pregnancy. His campaign is now in "fixit mode" with the flunky that missed
Sarah's liabilities, looking for employment.

One has to wonder how convenient it is to come out with the fact that the daughter in question just happens to be pregnant the exact time frame questioned by the blogger.

Give it one month, and they will announce that she had a miscarriage and lost the baby, and throw everybody off the trail to the fact that the original rumor was the truth.

McCain DID know about this. It was not a surprise to him. The only surprise was that the left wing bloggers were going nutso spreading malicious rumors that Trig wasn't Sarah's son. THAT was the only surprise to McCain.

McCain/Palin had planned to mention this at some point. There were reporters in Alaska that knew about this and would have broken the story sometime this week so Palin decided to do it today.

Most miscarriages occur within the first trimester. Bristol is in her 5th month so while it's still possible, her chances of miscarriage go down with each passing month.

People with well formed opinions should in theory have to work at, shortening them and being consice as I do (and need to)

BMU, I'm as real as it gets. And I think I owe you an apology for the Kool-Aid remark, it seems that's all were getting from DC these days.

I am now and have been for a while very frustrated with my party. Being a Republican used to be synonymous with being conservative. Over the last 8 years or so our party has taken a beating by the "so called" conservatives.

But when it comes to taking the "moral high ground" as you put it, the only party left with any credit is the Republican Party, as the Democrats filed for Moral Bankruptcy a long time ago.
