Alternative 3's Base on Mars Discovered?

Check the comparison...Internos spotted this similar feature for me sometime back next to this pyramid looking object in the Hale Crater region.

Certainly an interesting shape, but the problem I have with this one (which is the problem I have with many such images):

Why the odd shape? I understand that alien technology and engineering would probably indeed, seem alien to us, but that shape is just not "building friendly." I doubt it's ours at any rate, if it were man-made, as our military is NOT known for their artistic architecture. If we had a base there, it would be very functional, and I'm fairly certain, square or rectangle.

It's not straight. What I mean is: zoom in to 400% or so. Look at the walls. They are irregular. Now, I suppose they could have degraded over time, but I'd think a structure that intact, would still have its walls solidly in place. The walls are NOT straight, there are dips, weird angles and curves.. you probably couldn't find a human made structure that looks like that if you tried. Of course, again, it could be very alien, but it seems like an even more advanced civilization would be able to manage straight lines. Heck, it probably would be difficult to make something that irregular, unless you were using clay or something as your building material.

Finally, what an odd place to build something. We typically on our planet, do not attempt to build in the most inaccesible places. That doesn't seem like the most friendly terrain to build something. And there are no roads, or other nearby structures. Again, like all the others I have seen, it stands alone.

Also, simply because something does resemble a man-made structure, doesn't make it one. I am willing to concede it might indeed, by something man-made, even if I am a bit skeptical (man I'd kill for a very clear picture of something). I wonder if those that think it's a base or some-such are willing to accept it might just be a natural structure that looks man-made.

I'm not sure what others consider definitive evidence, but I consider this 100% definitive, beyond the shadow of a doubt, and explainable in no other way, evidence of at least intelligent past life on Mars, that is humanoid:

Does anyone have any ideas about size? For instance, the object which has the circle on top of it, how big is that? Are we talking truly huge such as miles long, or are we saying this is a similar size to a building here on Earth. . ?

Whilst that is a striking picture, to me, it is simply the usual case of us looking for faces in things. If you view it from pretty much any other angle or orientation I would place good money on it looking nothing even remotely like a human face, just simply the rocks/mountains/cliffs/dunes that it is formed of.

You have to ask yourself, if there was once a civilisation on Mars, why would that be their only evidence that they leave for other races to find? And might I ask, what to you screams 'not naturally formed and just happens to look like a face in that picture'? What makes you believe it was deliberatly structured that way by an intelligent civilisation?...

I have to confess that when i read the title on this thread i thought oh joy another crackpot thread. HOWEVER on looking at tjhe pictures i am going to keep an open mind. This looks too geometrical for my taste to be a natural feature. Somehting is not right. Could be an illusion but it just does not look like it. I guess the only way we are gonna know is by sending humans to Mars (offically), But what if it is a remanant of an old civilisation long dead? It may not be "us" after all!! I would find that more exciting to be honest, And if NASA were to come out of the closet then i think this is the line they will take. They sure as heck not gonna say oh we have stuff up there now!

My mind is open on this. Until we actually go there in person i will record an open verdict on this.

nice to see that you agree that these photo's deserve a closer examination.

that's about all anyone can logically deduce from these pictures...there is something there that needs more scrutiny.

i seriously doubt any skeptical debunker will see both sides of this.

Well if this is a global surveyor image its interesting, But I highly doubt its a building the scale of the building would make it larger than most us cities to be seen from space with that clarity unless of course what looks like a mountain range in the pictures is acually small hills

If you read my post i didn't actually once have a go at you in anyway so don't get your knickers in a twist because i don't particularly agree with your grainy lump that is supposedly a mining facility.

As for the original picture you posted i also said that was interesting and circle in the middle which is quite perfect looking so does deserve further investigation.

But don't get all hormonal you big girl because i disagreed with the mining pictures.

i have to agree, apparently this thread is only for people that see this base. anyone else is not welcom. ask a question and you get flamed. get mad because you got flamed and you get berated for your attitude. ask another question real nice, 3 times. get ignored because it calls into question the legitimacy of the entire thread apparently. all this time i came to ATS for the open discussion but i see now that some threads are only open to people in support of the OP and that is it.

Azrael, i believe you were answered by Zorgon. You chose not to read it, or choose to ignore it (even though you stated that you likely didn't read it because you chose to ignore it).

Regardless, I think your problem is patience. Posters here have lives outside of the forum. If you post a question, it may either be missed (which happens) or there may be a delay because the person you are asking is experiencing life.

i'd answer your alternative 3 question if i had the answer. i don't. not trying to be a problem or make a problem. the sum total of my contributions to the thread are concerning the potential reality of colonization of seemingly hostile worlds using nano tech and the immensity of the universe lending itself to the potential reality of other potential colonizers in addition to ourselves.

Yes i appreciate that, the way i used it wasn't me saying "omgz your an idiot" or anything it was to show the reaction of some people on this board and to be honest i can think of plenty of threads i've seen on this site that 'cheapen' the website more than 'z'.
