It's called "liberation."

And with America's big stick diplomacy, ya' gotta' break a few eggs to make an omelette.

My thoughts exactly! Although I was going to say that freedom isn't free. It costs a buck-o-five, quite a bargin.

Well you thought wrong. We know exactly what we're doing and exactly who we're fighting. It isn't Al Qaeda at this point, it isn't the Baath party, it isn't an insurgency. We're fighting pissed off citizens of the countries we occupy. The powers that be will kill, rape, and maim and entire region/culture/people into submission. Welcome to the annexation of a oppressed people and the welcoming of democracy. Little did they know Democracy was going to hurt so much.

You're ridiculous. I was being completely sarcastic. To try and jokingly justify the murder of 70 people is outrageous. Get real, little guy.

Any enemy is going to be pissed off. Like for example that photograph showing a Japanese military officer with a sword ready to behead an Allied POW because he heard his country was being bombed, killing Japanese men, women, and children. He was really pissed. Thats why we should not have bombed Japan, because they get madder and madder to the point that they could defeat America easily.

Actually, its called genocide, and its deliberate. What I'm amazed are people lacking the IQ to immediately apply it to their neighhborhoods and see if they would appreciate their own families slain by murderous geopolitical cartel for the freedom of the coorporations, or for anyones philosophies. Just try it, do a full techno color with our family and neighborhood. If you're speaking the same way, you failed to do the exercise properly.

Like in the past.. those who were killed by accident will be given dollar value so as to componsate the families of the victims.

War has it's price and the printing press in the US is still cold from use.

Everyone has a price.. sometimes others decide what that price is.

I'm a girl, hello! And I wasn't being sarcastic? How can you tell when other people aren't being sarcastic if people don't know if you're being sarcastic...yeah.

For the record: we are guilty of war crimes, all of us, everyone who allows Bush's criminal regime to stay in power.

US forces, the defense ministry and the interior ministry all have different numbers.
I wonder if it comes out that the US forces scenario is indeed the correct account, how many of the hate America group here will retract their statements?

I've seen the word 'Genocide' used when referring the US military in Afghanistan and Iraq. If the US military was in the practice of deliberate genocide all of our soldiers would have been back home 4 years ago.

Back to the OP, if indeed there were civilians killed than that is a horrible accident.

If it is so very hard for people to actually comprehend what Coorporate interests are doing in the middle east, I recommend these videos. And then bring this home in your mind to contemplate just what is being done:

I'm not going to give a graphics warning for some of them. When you harm a children, or allow your government to do so, you can at least take a good look.
