You can NOT pull one over on the incredible members of ATS.

Will give you a star for that post, just because it's true, no one can fool the members of ATS.

We'll question and question and question until the OP and evidence until we even question our own existence (which we have before), so just remember OP--you cannot think we'll believe anything that is thrown to us, we will find out sooner or later.

"You can try to take these apart and trace them to photobucket or some other alteration. Don't waste you time trying, however. Believe it or don't. They ARE real. That's all I can tell you."

parabol didn't waste much time. It took him about 5 seconds to find the image you used in your fake photo.

The civil war soldier parabol(is that right? sorry if I spelled that wrong) used in comparison is in a completely different position: he is standing strait awaiting orders from his general.

The one in the photograph is walking; distinguished by the slantly position of his body. He'd be scollded good for that.

One other thing to note; notice his left shin. Why is it bent backward?
Also, I took this to photobucket and sharpened the image, and the mess around the soldier appears to be the following:

1.light distortion(I'll have to ask Alister what kind of camera his friend Jess used.)Light easily distorts ghost photos, for what you are taking a picture of is not solid and could be partially transparent.
2.There appears to be another object around and behind the man, and many dark areas(could be from transparency). This could be some type of energy aura from manifestation.
3.There could be many images of the man piled into one; a most hostile and powerful spirit can duplicate and distort their image at will. One with him walking backward; could explain bent shin. One with him standing still. And one with him seeming to float in the air before manifesting himself completely. These images could've all happened in an instant actually; just as the picture was taken.
These instances could apply to the woman as well. Yeah, I keep up with lots of ghost stories.

Guys, these aren't fake...

Maybe he has places to be; places to go. I don't live on the Internet anymore.

Oh! Pft! Oh yeah, and those pictures have been duplicated from phone/digicamera(whichever she used), to computer, to Photobucket, to ATS. That'll damage the quality at least a tad! That's why you can't see the face in the fog pic.!

Great job!

As someone who does image work a LOT, I'll say that I think you really did find THE image for that soldier. Look at the line in the color image where the floor meets the wall below his knees. You can see the same line in the inverted grayscale image.

well done.

Could you post those images so we can analyze them?

Your pictures, although interesting, are obviously dust orbs, bugs, and photoshopping. When your photo dubbing skills get better maybe you can try to mistify us with some more fake images.

Look again. It's the SAME picture.

There could be many images of the man piled into one; a most hostile and powerful spirit can duplicate and distort their image at will.

I've seen some strange photos that certainly seem to defy a logical explanation. So should I conclude that a "hostile and powerful spirit" was responsible?

You're making a ridiculous leap here. It's akin to me seeing a strange light in the sky, and proclaiming "It's a spacecraft piloted by hostile aliens from Jupiter."
If you see a photo with what appears to be a ghostly image, it's just that...
a photo of what appears to be a ghostly image. To make any assumption
about hostile spirits or whatever is not scientific, logical or practical.

I believe in the paranormal. I've posted at length about the strange
happenings in my house.
I don't believe any of the pics from the OP are legit, nor do I believe
his story. The "orbs" are beyond ridiculous. They are dust and moisture
reflections. Guaranteed.

What I said

Of COURSE not.

See, the fact of the matter is, we all think we know faked pictures when we see them; when do we know REAL paranormal pics when we see them?
There's always going to be the debunkers, who in turn just don't want to believe it.

Who's to say they're fake; if the spirit himself is not responsible for the poor quality maybe the camera is? Alister still hasn't been online to answer my question what kind of camera his friend Jess used.

lw2525, what about my other explainations? I'm sure this is useless, though, and I hope Alister gets the point across too. Everybody, esp. ATS "debunkers", are not going to believe pics/videos. They'll just have to see the content of the picture in front of their very eyes.

I'm sorry if I sounded rude. It just seemed like you were really defending this guy who is pulling a hoax. Regarding photo and video evidence of the paranormal or UFOs, I guess it's pretty subjective. It really is up to the viewer.

IMO, some of the videos I've seen on the show "Ghost Hunters" was pretty convincing. Some of the shadow beings they've filmed, and the infrared images of human figures are genuine.(IMO.... And I'm pretty skeptical)

Again, sorry if I came off as rude or arrogant in my previous post.

Apology excepted

Btw, another thing that points to Ghost Hunters being pretty credible, is the fact that most of the time they DON'T get any footage.

I tried to find the picture for the gown photo, not 100% as sure as the soldier but I think I got some things to line up well enough. The image may be mirrored though, I'm not sure.

I did a search for long gown and found this picture. She also happens to have long, wavy hair, which would be very hard to discern in the photo he gave but easy if you have the picture used to make it.

If anything I highlighted some straight lines with yellow.

Hmm... Nice try, but you never took the picture apart to PROVE it's a fake. Go ahead and try to take it apart; it's one image. Most importantly, you were not there. If you live in Tennessee, I could show you. Again, you have my complements on this most intelligent way of trying to fake this.

No one has taken it apart. It can't be taken apart. It's one; authentic image.

They ARE real. You can't take them apart. No one can take them apart. If you remove the ghost, there will be whitness behind it; nothing more.

Try to seperate the soldier from the picture. Sure, it LOOKS like there's a box around him, but I don't know why. All I have to say is that these pictures are real. I don't look for attention or points; I'm here to spread a true story I expirienced not long ago. Say what you will. I stand by my case.
