Their crafts always had this "blue spotlight" on top which allowed me to see that they were "visiting" earth. As for my encounters with them in person, they were always armed with these rifles... They never came down to sit and chat with the local fauna.

I see. So again I ask you, how do you know they visited at least 30 times when you only saw them half of that time?

There was a clearing behind my grandma's trailer park they tended to land in as well. As well as the two occasions where the landed in a clearing in the woods behind my uncle's place.

They sure seemed to follow you around, even though they had no interest in you and never spoke with you. Curious.

They more so did this when I decided to kill my nightmares by writing the beings into my sci fi novel.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is all she wrote

Well, this is why I thought I shouldn't post any videos on my of my threads. I was sure I'd be attacked and flamed and I sure was!

Then, when your claims are completely anecdotal, you're flamed for not having a pic/video! So no matter how you prove it, be it by your word or "evidence", it's always gonna be wrong.

So, in conclusion, if you have a video; it's crap. If you have a story; it's crap. Either way, most don't believe your claims.

That's because it always is wrong. Go figure.

The problem is that mere anecdotal evidence is not enough to support these wild claims and the "pics/vids" posted here as evidence are always either obvious hoaxes or not clear enough to support any allegation.

pick on me some more why don't you? This is why I didn't want to talk about my experience, I thought people such as yourself wouldn't believe me... You definitely prove that this is true, that people don't believe me.
It ticks me off that you can't look at the core value of my experiences, because the skeptics didn't belive me I coped by writing sci-fi novels. These novels always featured these beings, it's how I came to not have serious mental problems or ultra evil nightmares as a result of my experiences.

It makes me sick to think that you just take my experiences at face value just because you were not there to see it for yourself... Even for a beliver you seem to like to doubt people.

Not ALWAYS; or at least I try to be truthful. Or were you being sarcastic?

Ahh, CrusaderOne, you didn't have to "foe" me just because I caught you fumbling over your own story, guy

How does one "try" to be truthful? Either you are or you're not.

I say "try" because I'm never truthful 'round here; I'm always lying some way or another. All according to other members, we're all lying; so how does this turn out in the end? Well, we'll never know the truth until our own self experiences it... then post it... then you're lying again... never ending cycle. The few who agree with you are being lied to, in conclusion, the truth shall ever be concealed until a UFO lands in the Olympic stadium and some odd 500,000 people witness aliens coming out of it and sitting down to enjoy some good 'ol earthen sports!

Oh boloney. Do you honestly expect anyone here to believe that you casually mentioned your "own experience", and didn't anticipate everyone wanting to hear and analyze said story?

You definitely prove that this is true, that people don't believe me.

The "core value"? You mean that it makes for a good story? Even you apparently thought so

It makes me sick to think that you just take my experiences at face value just because you were not there to see it for yourself... Even for a beliver you seem to like to doubt people.

If that makes you sick, you better grow a thicker skin. Why on earth shouldn't we take it at face value? We don't owe you anything more than that.

Look, CrusaderOne, here's the problem: your story has holes in it. I immediately saw this on post #1. You didn't answer any of my quite logical questions regarding these holes; instead, you keep elaborating. Thus, you shot yourself in the foot.

Next time think your story through some more before making such claims, and maybe you'll last longer.

look, I discovered ATS by accident, looking for a venue to talk about my aliens, and get a few people to pick up my book when I published. But I wasn't completely in here just to laugh at peoples' encounter stories or argue why one alien is more real than another...

The simple fact is, I saw these beings at least a dozen times beween the ages of 10 and 14. If you believe me, great... If not, that's your opinion. But don't senselessly pick on me because I don't want to tell the whole story... What I saw and heard during those encounters really changed the way I live my life even today. I've even used a few of what I'm guessing were names in my novel to give a character to the beings I had experiences with. Again, you can believe what you want, but I assure you that what happened to me all that long while ago is the absolute truth.

Well Crus, I'd like to read your book.

I agree with you on the fact that ATS should be a place where you can openly discuss such matters; I got that facade myself. There ARE good folks here, though. The majority my be a little skeptical for alleged believers, but heck, I'm open.

BTW: I want to write a book of my own.

See how the more you dig, the more info you get? So you're looking to publish your story, and thought this might be a good way of advertising, eh?

But don't senselessly pick on me because I don't want to tell the whole story...

There was nothing senseless about why or how I "picked" on you; it was all done using logic and reason, and it didn't take much to unveil your story. And please, let's spare the emotional appeal: I didn't "pick" on you because you didn't want to tell the story (even though you wanted advertising
), I "picked" on you because your story was obviously flawed.

That's how it goes in ATS. You might want to better research the forum in which you speak before posting next time.

But good story!

What you need to do, Crus, is be oblivious as possible to those who offend you. I know it's hard; trust me, I KNOW.

There's always those who support you.

The very nature of being open means you have to take both sides--even those that don't agree with you.

Nice qualitative judgments of good and bad here. Being skeptical is not bad. In fact, it's quite good and serves a very needed purpose. Think of how many ridiculous threads get started here with completely bogus claims...they are litter, and nothing more. They actually hurt the believer's cause because they just bring more suspicion upon them.

This probably wasn't Crusader's intent, of course. I just find it more than a little ironic that after getting caught in his own story, he tells us that the only reason why he's here is to pitch.......

a sci fi novel.

Priceless.

Never said I didn't. I begin every journey neutral; then choose my side in the end.

I'm sceptical too. Never said being skeptical was bad; just flaming's bad. Not saying you were flaming. Guess I sould be more specific shouldn't I? Doesn't matter. I'm still lying.

no its not! I saw a green craft hovering and flying around but if i had video taped it that night and showed it to people, they would scream cgi or fake. Especially since i am a graphic artist. Not all of it is fake. I was walking my dog and i saw it, cant explain it and no one can either. There is something out there.

I wish i did get it on film, but i wasn't expecting it. It happened in under a minute, a mile from my home. I have always been a skeptic most my life and still am, if it is aliens or not. (personally i believe it was man made.) Like most of these sightings. Universe is to big to not have other life and if you don't believe that, then ... never mind

What kind of firearms did the scouts carry? could you tell if they were human designs or perhaps alien laser/plasma type weapons? Please PM with info of your book when you are ready
