I don't discount time travel, as I myself, saw the events of 9/11 at 12 years of age back in the 1970's and was recorded in 1993/4 on video stating that I would be in my late 30's at the time of the event.

During the period that this information came to me, I had gone missing for 3-4 hours. It was 6:25 when I left my friends house, and it was either 9:30, or 10pm, as the news was on when I came through the door. To me only seconds had elapsed, not hours.

So, I do believe that time travel is possible given the right equipment and the ability to warp space and time. I know that the majority of UFO's have the ability to travel through different time frames.

What is to say that mankind is not going to have the ability to travel in time in the near future?

What is to say that in this point and time that our governments have been secretly working on and developing time travel, as we discuss it here?

What is to say that our governments haven't already found a way to travel through time?

Does anybody remember the boot print that was found fossilized that dated back to either the Jurassic or Cretaceous period? I have a photo of it I think in one of my books. I will have to check my library. Ask yourself this question: Whose boot print was it? How did it get there? Was it human, or Alien? If human, could they have been a time traveller?

I don't dismiss time travel, because I know that it is possible. Anybody who has experienced missing time with UFO connections will know how you think and feel that a brief time has passed, when in fact minutes and hours have elapsed and in some cases days.

My experience, which I now to believe that I had been taken to the future by the occupants, and brought back to my own time with a delay of 3-4 Earth hours of elapsed time, but to me was seconds, and no more than a couple of minutes.

Since that experience, I don't see time as fixed and linear, but as a never-ending circle.

This might be a bit off-topic-but it brings me to a theory about Shadow People. I have like many others have seen Shadow People. I had been watching the movie: Spooked. People mentioned that there were numerous Shadow People moving about the Sanitorium. It got me thinking that the Shadow People are people carrying on and doing what they did in their time frame, which is their present and our past. I feel that for a brief time the past and present merge briefly.

So, somebody could take this and work out how to open dimensional portals in time where somebody could travel back and forth. Yes, back and forth. I believe that we can travel to the future, as I experienced when I was 12, and go into the past. I think there are just veils that seperate time frames to maintain order. However, the past, present and future are intertwined and not linear.

Do we always need proof for something to be possible? I can remember reading about someone named Christopher Columbus. I think he said the Earth was round but the Europeans didn't believe him. What proof did he have at that time? None, he just believed. When Einstein first started, all the other physicists rejected his theories because they "didn't make sense" (that's what happends when you have a closed mind). I think we've all lost our imagination, we need more people that think "outside the box" because if we don't everything will be "impossible".

Heavily funded project, maybe the most important project ever. They are using the latest technology and the most highly qualified people. Yet no spell check or proof read for the "standard issue" manual that goes out to everyone involved......Doh!

The dead relative, the new account, the editing, the spelling, I'm starting to see a "pastern" here.

Dude fix the obvious mistakes and have someone that speaks English as a first language proof read it, then hoax us again.

I don't know why you are getting these flags. I'm not going to bother reading past the first post.

Obvious attempt to make new documents look old. Very poorly done too. I hope nobody is fooled by this. Use your heads and you will immediately see this for what it is.

What I find interesting is that the symbol shows the originating point to be Greenland. And I recall seeing a few odd things with Greenland. 1. Was some youtube video showing all the craters on earth and asking why greenland had none. The other was youtube video , may have been the same video, showing on google earth this long black line on greenland. I wonder if there is something with greenland if this happens to be real.

You're starting to see a PASTERN here? Did you mean "pattern"? You can use spell check in the present and not criticize those who may not use it in the future.

I googled FM-TTD-1 (field manual-time travel document-1?) and nothing came up except a page asking me if I meant "TDD" which turns out to be a "real time disk formatter". I think it's that deal on the telephone used for deaf people. At any rate, I saw nothing about what FM-TTD-1 might refer.

Lighten up, people. Most of us realize this is not really a manual from the future. Sure is a good read, though, isn't it?

Seriously, you didn't see the quotations marks around "pastern", I was mocking the OP because that was one of the many mistakes in their hoax, and yes I believe they meant "pattern".

Exactly whitewave, has anyone said "This is completely real?" I don't think so. The OP is the only one that knows if this is a hoax or not, so no one can say 100% that it isn't real. Everyone else should just enjoy the read and keep an open mind...

can anyone identify the insignia faded on the front right hand bottom? anyway good stuff great read either way but could you find something you know your grandpa wrote something he signed id like to see a comparison anyway like others have said get copies to people you trust cut a sample have the paper analized if your really serious about this find some experts and dont rely on us any actual proof either way scientificaly speaking age printing method ink type will come from the original and if it turns out to be real umm run lol cuz the MIB are coming

Whoa.. hold on there buddy. Did I say I believed it? No, I said it's always good to have an open mind about things that's all. Your also allowed to state your opinion, and it's just that an "opinion". To each his own I guess...

The documents do not look genuine, they look like being made via a computerprogramme of some sort.

Unless your Grandfather was a frequent time traveler who also managed to take ' things / objects' with him, he's a very good Joker.

The point, sir, is that there have been over 10 pages of people mocking, ridiculing, rudely debunking and trying to prove how educated they are in something that doesn't even relate to proving the document a hoax or not.

The boy is new to ATS, obviously, and this is how he's welcomed? For shame, all of you. HE may not know if it's a hoax or not. In fact, I believe he said exactly that. He came to ATS looking for help and was treated like a criminal.

He may be a hoaxer, forgerer, teller of tall tales. If so, let him find his niche on ATS like the rest of us. I just don't find any honor in bashing a newbie with name calling and especially a teenage boy.

There is a possibility his grandfather wrote this (probability high) as a final parting gift to his grandson. He probably enjoyed the bedtime story-telling times he spent with his grandson even more than the boy did and so, left a legacy to his grandson as a reminder of all the enjoyable evenings spent spinning yarns before drifting off to dreamland. If so, it is a touching and wonderful gift and I hope the OP treasures it for many years to come. He may even pass on the tradition so his own grandchildren.

havent posted in a while but this is a very interesting topic.
not to be negative but i seen a few posts concerning it being a hoax. if you look closely at the second page you can see other words kind of imprinted very lightly on the white part of the lower right of the page. if you look closely you can see words like "gravity" and "of sort" if the paper and a few other things. ive seen books have ink transfer to the opposite page it lays on if closed for a time, but they would be backwards, unless this paper is really thin then whats up with that?

There is no grandfather, no hidden chest. Just some kid, my guess would be around 14 from looking at the cursive signature of the "president" and the horrible grasp of English grammar and poor spelling.

Sorry Friend, If time travel were possible, where are all the time travelers....The simplest answer is the best answer.

D did you find any artifacts or anything odd of your grand fathers when he died if he was talkin the truth i would inspect his belongings for any odd materials (generally anything glowing or buzzing but you never know

EDIT: woops double posted anyways if WW3 starts this year i would keep my eye on russia and georgia if and probably when russia takes them it may try the same with other countries
