Yeah thats right ,we get lots of US spooks posing as tourists down here .
But we dont need chain link fences to keep them out . Superior technology mate ,superior technology .

Very nice work of art BTW. The pic freaked me out a little the first time i saw it haha That ET lingering around the back of the man is a liiittle creepy.. i guess with the inscription of "Only if you want to be free" on the alien's side I'm feeling that the ET is evil a little - or at least that was the intention of the artist to portray it that way

Hey OP, thanx for posting this, i was too lazy to do it myself lol!

I was actually lucky enough to meet Foote, the guy who made it, and hubby & I asked him the story behind it.
He came across as a little reluctant to talk about it (understandably), but said something along the lines of "I woke up after one crazy night/dream, and just had to carve it"
He also talked about how he had an affiliation with the marine animals, especially DOLPHINES, and one dolphine inparticular which he has quite a strong friendship with, which he has done a sculpture of as well.
Would loved to have chatted with him more about this, but it was clear he didnt want to say too much to a complete stanger. Fair call

I do like the way the alien is positioned... Hiding himself behind the sculpture so that you only see once you head into the shop.

If you guys are calling this evidence of anything it is clearly an evidence that points to the fact that the subject of UFOs and 'little grey aliens' are nothing more than fleeting entertainment and to provoke chuckles and snickers and there's nothing in this field that warrants any serious research.

In fact I'm snickering right now. Hahahahaha.

The believers seem to be out of ideas lately.

i got an idea... stay out of this section of the website then. it was not presented as proof. it was just something the OP found interesting and wanted to share with everyone. this is the alien section, and it does have a place here.

This is Aliens & UFOs forum and this thread deserves to stick here, imho: you got a star ( )from me.
Art is FREEDOM.
Freedom for the artist and freedom for the observer. NO particular intelligence nor skills are required in order to attribute a meaning to a painting, a sculpture, a melody. Many great artists were completely ignorant.
The purpose of art is to EXPRESS some feelings, then the observer gets some message: this specific work is worthy to be discussed:
the artist recalls in his style the ancient Greeks, and as kindly pointed out by _EyesOpen_, there's a STORY behind it Evasius expressed another theory, that would make more sense than mine, now i'm more in agreement with him than with my previous take on this sculpture
And not, i don't see any anal probe, i see a chisel in the external part of his left hip: unless someone has some hole out of place, i don't see how it can be taken as any "anal probe": a doctor may help in order to asses that one has all the holes located in the right place.
It's a piece of art, based on a dream, we had some thousands of meaningless threads about dreams but in this case we have a sculpture to talk about: this thread, IMHO, deserves to stick in Aliens & UFOs forum: thanks to everyone for your contribute.

We are discussing art relating to extraterrestrial manipulation of the human race. Such a topic does not sound outside the remit of a discussion forum on conspiracies to me, and furthermore does not sound like a subject designed to provoke “chuckles and snickers“.

I do not recall anyone even alluding to this as being “evidence” of anything. I fully approve of discussions relating to the psychological side of the alien phenomenon and not just alleged sightings and abductions.

You seem to be a bit quick off the mark to start making criticisms of this nature. I think its you who is out of ideas myself.

The alien looks quite friendly to me. Do you think the artist is trying to say that we should welcome alien assistance in human affairs or that we should keep a lookout over our shoulders???

Any thoughts?

I can honestly say my first and only perception when I met the sculpture was “What an awesome vision” basically. It stopped me in my tracks, yes, as it is beautiful and clearly not your usual tropical Island getaway relic…

WOW is the first thing that comes to mind from all the responses, a really real thought provoking piece of art is rare… isnt it??.

I actually took these shots this past new years eve 07/08 and I am now feeling quite blind that I didn’t think to share them earlier as I didn’t think of how many interesting perceptions people would have, and how one sculpture could bring us so many cool views.

Because of the way I perceive (thus far) our life, ET Life and Earth together, I just took the sculpture in stride as a reminder - we aren’t the smartest marble of beings in the universe (but we may well be the prettiest!).

Also I’m quite shy when it comes to putting myself out there in these forums, I read a lot but rarely post. But the length of this one will make that shy statement look silly now… maybe it was time for me. ;P

Anyway I see an opportunity here to share this with you and ill try to make sense...

Please indulge my circlular digression from the ‘obvious nature of this forums Alien & UFO topic' for one moment, to elaborate on my take on the Forum Topics and hence, tie this thread to the topic.. hopefully...

As you know all science is what we have explained thus far…ie formulas we use. Physics / chem / metapyshics / life etc.

We are all still working on the formulas to learn how to recognize, use and live the energy everything (universally) is made of,

I choose to call that energy LOVE.
‘It does make the world go around’ and it’s not an emotion, it’s Energy.

Energy is the catalyst in all science formulae to cause reaction and in Human psychological relations type terms Energy, projected as ‘behaviour’ with pure honorable and benevolent intentions for all involved as a way to move forward does initiate change in people, nature, relationships, healing etc etc it promotes moving forward.

Because you cannot change a person or a thing - You can only change towards that person or thing.

Emotively charged responses are another topic. Emotions are a choice and are of varying natures.

Tying that back to the forum topic now,

ET Life clearly use/know/automate (however you want to see it) many ‘formulas for Energy’ as a ‘conscious’ 'connected' way of life, ie really obvious ones spring to mind like telepathy, inter planetary travel.

A way WE, if say at the very least, all we have to prepare for is the Extraterrestrial Life just integrating into society on earth with us, taking our jobs, sleeping with our men (and women – ok fellas), sharing our favorite restaurant/bar/sport club space blah blah again at the very least…

A way we could prepare for this (which is why we are all here on this site isn’t it, preparing for something/working something out) is by sharing our perceptions and moving forward connecting, unlocking or whatever you want to call it the ‘formulas’ that will enable us able to have a universal understanding and a chance to also contribute universally. (and chance to not get universally probed)

Or more simply - Get the number of perceptions on the situation. Its basic risk and crisis management really isnt it?

How was that ok? Smooth circular digression? Still relevant to the topic?
