Yeah, I am kinda wondering where the staff is on this idea. Duzey proposes another thread, but mentions nothing about the idea of consolidating all this into a new forum, which is what the OP was all about. lol, I don't understand this place sometimes, but in a way that makes it fun and unpredictable. I guess.

lol, ok great. So now the only mod to even acknowledge this thread refuses to moderate in this thread. Wonderful. But that's ok, everyone in this thread so far has been great.

With the latest expression on SO's avy, I can understand that there are much bigger fish to fry. But hey, maybe when things cool a bit, some day when the admin feel like making a new forum, consolidating all these threads into a forum or sub forum might be an idea worth considering- you see what Elf has done as an attempt to do so- the mega thread has become way too big in order to get news on the situation quickly and orderly.

edit: ahh, what's this? another mod jumped in between me writing this post and me posting it... Well thanks, at least it's nice to finally see some staff opinions.

NGC maybe a very good idea indeed, though as stated the new forum was discussed as containing, The Missile Defense Shield, Nato Expansion, This Conflict and the Iran issue which will need its own or shared Forum very soon!

To be honest the Iranian, Missile Defense Shield and Nato Expansion situations are far from likely to calm down, in fact the opposite.

It's not that we refuse to make a decision or mod in this thread, it's policy that we may not mod in a thread we participate in as a member. My first post in this thread was as a member, so that leaves me out of the running if problems occur in this thread.

The forum should be considered "What country did America appease this week?" or "Remember when Russia..."

Many have said Russia and Poland are next. Russia is talking Ukraine, Poland is a side show right now. Ukraine is not a NATO member, yet. This is why Russia needs to act now.

Georgia is nothing more than Russia sending a message.

Considering there is a fourm on Hurricane Katrina conspiricy news...


This Conflict should be a News/Disscusion fourm... Possibly with multiple fourms...

While at first glance that might seem clever, it actually perpetuates war, and is pretty biased. I wouldn't recommend it. We need a more neutral non-biased title such as "Balkan Issues" or "Balkan News". Just my opinion, but thanks for all the responses people.
