I agree that the US doesn't have the troops. Is Russia willing to risk nuclear war to gain influence over Georgia? That is the question I guarantee is going through the minds of the US leadership right now. The question is, will the US call Russia's bluff?
If the US does not act, it loses; Poland, Hungary, The Ukraine and any other pro-western country near Russia.
