I said it about 120 posts ago and I will say it again. Some people will always be on the lookout for something much bigger than themselves and this was nothing more than that. Time ultimately proved them wrong and some of them will still follow their shepard to the ends of sanity. Nothing I or any of you can say or do will change that. Reason and Logic are our weapons and ignorance and blind faith are our enemy.

The least Blossom can do now is release a statement explaining why they didn't show.

And I've also noticed that her blog is now only accessible by invite only...

I, like most likely many others, have been waiting for the 14th to come and go. Waiting so that it is proven is that there is a high percentage chance that no one here on the planet can predict if and when an ET race will arrive. Add another to the FAIL counter.

I found the most amazing thing about this thead wasnt Blossom Freewilly and her stories, but rather the venom, judgement, self richeousness and self gratification that has been displayed throughout.

You dont have to prove others wrong to make you right.

I dont know if it has already been stated in the thread somewhere (280 pages? Come on!) But what was, If any, The official response for the no show?

Just because she hasn't harmed you, don't mean she hasn't harmed other people, whom maybe a little more easily led than you.

Conning people out of their money, for hope of love, peace, harmony, fulfilment, etc, etc, etc.....,

Dear Lord - are you telling me people actually gave her money?? I'm kind of with those who would argue that it's a little unfair to blame this woman for the fact that they're gullible. It's one thing being a cowboy builder and charging people for shoddy work. It's another thing being a "channeller" and charging people for believing it.

I'd say there's a good chance she's been conning herself, too...

Is there some way we can ALL mass contact/email Blossum and tell her what a disapointment she is to the human race, and rather than spreading a message of love and hope, all she has spread is disapointment and resentment.

Only if you allow her to do this. Do not let her spread disappointment and resentment. Let yourself feel love and hope, you dont need her to feel this anyway.

also, exposing 'psychic' phenomenon for the fraudulent charade it is would be an added bonus.

in the old days she would be tarred and feathered.

You cannot prevent people from (mis)placing their trust and hopes and love - i.e. from investing psychologically - in whoever they choose to believe in. It has always been like this, it will always be like this. It could actually be considered a good path to growth, psychologically and socially. We don't grow only through love and rewarded trust, but also through disappointments.

But what I wanted to ask is this: what do you mean by "'psychic' phenomenon"?

Because the fact that there ARE, alas, so many charlatans (think Sylvia Browne... though I'd rather not think about her at all
) does not mean, not AT ALL, that people do not have access to spheres that are currently perceived as, well, imperceptible. And I know that for a FACT. I would be blind and in tragic denial of my own life experiences if I didn't acknowledge the fact that there is MUCH more to life than what meets the five senses.

P.S. In "the old days", many of you - of us - would have been torched...

It isn't those citizens I'm worried about.

It's the ones who think BG is the new Massiah & are following her no matter what (and there are a lot of them).

You won't hear these people complain, because they are under her spell.

They'll giver all their money for all her "errm", enligenment.

Her stuff is bunk, it's crap...!! but it's good crap & keeps the desperated hanging on.

Just because they aren't complaining don't mean they shouldn't be defended (even if they don't want to be defended).

I'll keep giving it to Bloss till she backs off & stops accepting ppls money for fals words & hopes.

You don't think that Gullible people deserve to be defended by those who see the bulls* for the Clay?

I just wanted to say, that this thread finally got the title it deserved. Where is Skipper and his apology? I heard that he has promised to make one, when the enevitable happened. I wonder if Blossom is shopping, or readying her noose. I would perfer the latter. Anyways, I expected this to happen, sorry to everyone who put their hopes and money into this scandal. It should serve as a lesson well learned, but....... I bet is won't.

Yeah, I agree with you there. It is likely that Blossom Goodchild really believes that what she is channeling is real and from outside of herself. I doubt that she understands it to be a delusion now that the date has come and gone, nor is she behaving fraudulently. Now, I might be wrong: she could easily be sitting at home now yukking it up at the success of her con, but I don't think that she is.

I would like to hear her perspective on it all - though I can completely understand that she needs a little time to recover from everything and get everything straight in her head. I don't think she set out to con anyone and I believe that she probably feels more disappointed than anyone on ths forum.

Hi stringfellow! Nice to see you. Hey that link what is it about? It makes no sense, do you mean its been like totally edited. The latest one for today is just like blank.

Is this even her real name? Has she given any public statement as to where The Federation are? Sorry but this thread moves so quick its impossible to keep up with. Maybe someone can put up a 10 major points or so covering the last 2 days activities

Do you think when it came to it it was just impossible to get a 2000 mile light ship through a worm hole/ inter dimensional gate?? Maybe the energy required would have just caused Earthquakes or something like that.

Maybe the reptiles threatened to attack if the federation turned up...yes very Sci-Fi I know but its possible. Anything is now possible with this "story."

Hi everyone. I've been following this forum and from what I see, No wonder E.T.'s haven't pooped up and said hi we're here yet. Most of you seem level headed and decent but then others on the other hand aren't so decent. I was one of those that hoped that this would actually occur. Even though it has not come to fruition, I can honestly say that I am not terribly upset by the no show. I truly believe that BGC did not conceive of this to try and scam or distract people. I have watched her video's and (I may be incorrect) she seems like a pretty intelligent person (perhaps misguided, some of you would say). I'm pretty sure that she knew the ramifications of what she was announcing and was willing to deal with it. What did she have to gain by knowingly misleading people. A few more hits to her website or maybe a few books and stuff. Hardly worth opening yourself up to the inevitable ridicule that would be coming. Maybe it's just me, but I can't understand why so many people are so upset with BGC. Can something that opened up communication between so many different people really be that bad? No one was FORCED to believe this was going to take place. Should everyone just keep their mouths shut about things they believe in for fear that someone might take it the wrong way or believe too strongly in it? What kind of world would we live in?

Last time I checked human beings still had free will.

Just because it doesn't work for you, don't mean it isn't someone else's cup of tea.

Now, if they start barricading themselves behind razorwire, stockpiling weapons and preaching "us-or-them-end-of-the-world" type scenarios and gunning down followers who try to leave their encampment - then you might have legitimate complaits of a "dangerous cult".

So far as I am aware of, they aren't headed in that direction.

Money may not have the same hold on her followers as it does some people. Believe it or not, money isn't really that big a deal when it comes to the bigger picture for a lot of people out there.

Cough up a few bucks to read a few books, watch a few DVD's and hang out with other like minded individuals in an environment free of naysayers and negative doomsayers?

Some people might think that a worthwhile investment.

Heck, there's a Country Club right down the road here you can do the same thing at - except they worship this thing called "golf".

Well well, what a surprise!

Maybe in the future such ridiculous and unsubstantiated claims should be locked until the day of the predicted event and then either opened if it happens or deleted if it doesn't

I know it's hard to call one UFO theory ridiculous and another totally realistic without exhibiting double standards but surely 99% of the members here agreed that it was a stupid hoax that would never happen.

I Think the moderation should be a bit more strict around here, threads like this waste time and distract people from contributing to posts that show a little more realism.

Could there at least be a voting system where you could vote a thread into a different sub forum if say 95% or more think it's just a stupid hoax.

I get really fed up of coming onto this forum and having to sift out the decent threads which seem to get no attention whilst pathetic threads like this one get hundreds of pages of replies. Surely all that effort and research would be better spent on threads that seem realistic to begin with.

Is it just that the average user on here finds a video of a ufo too boring?, too easy? it's as if people flock to the most incredulous posts and forget about the ones that might actually be real.

I thought we were trying to be taken seriously here!

This place should be serious, methodical, sober, realistic and firmly grounded in reality.

I'm sorry if this causes anyone offence but things used to be conducted a lot more appropriately around here, I don't think there's room for this loony bin nonsense in a forum that is devoted to a subject that struggles to be taken seriously as it is.

We should be investigating things the same way as professionals would, we should know when to say "this is just ridiculous and a waste of time" and drop things and not keep breathing life into them.

And I'm not saying we shouldn't have fun but what I am saying is that the the actual threads themselves shouldn't be the cause for the fun and laughter.

I just look at the forum index sometimes and I wonder how many potential new members take one look at the topic list and run for the hills.

If you want to be believed you have to be believable and it doesn't matter how epic your video is or how indisputable the photo you just took is because if someone comes to this place to look at it and your thread is sandwiched between two pathetic threads like this then your post is going to suffer severe credibility damage purely through association alone.

I think it's an insult to the people who post truly intriguing, thought provoking and possibly real things that threads like this are allowed to thrive.

I'm not even saying I'm against hoaxes as a rule, the Apollo 20 one and the Caret one were really fun and quite well fabricated and they certainly got my mind ticking over whereas posts like this are just instantly dismissable to anyone with half a brain.

I really feel like the moderation needs to be stronger in the interests of this forum not becoming an internet laughing stock.

Again, I'm sorry if this offended anyone but I feel like I'm not just speaking for myself.
