[HOAX]GFL spaceship DID NOT APPEAR on Oct.14th, 2008[HOAX]

I've been in the ufoblogger chat and I'm looking at that Tate thing ... I have no idea.

I can see the shadow of the Earth down and slightly to the left ... so that would mean the sun is above and slightly to the right. I have no idea where that would put that object, the sat itself, etc.

If it really is a view of the earth as we see it on maps, that thing is parked over Antarctica. Antarctica is currently in darkness according to the webcam data I've seen.

Does it mean anything? Probably not ... could be the ISS, another sat, anything at this point. Just something to look at.

Given the range that the Tate Sat seems to be veiwing from id say yes, distance can be deceptive in such shots depending on the angle of orbit.

Its definately not a star its a large grey lump which appears to be stationary, its too big to be a star at that range I feel so another sat is my most logical guess.

Maybe theres another sat with a webcam poiting out the otherway and all those people can see the tate sat and are wondering the same thing

It says it's a "powerful wide angle webcam."

The bigger issue, if you're going by this webcam, is why the Earth has stopped rotating. Call me crazy, but I think we'd be feeling the effects of that about nowish.

Couldnt be the Moon as its in full phase and would be more to the left of the Camera out of view. the Angle doesnt match up well.

Precisely why they might use her, pretty much a total no-name in the Biz so who would ever connect the dots. Is the movie about first contact on earth by a mother ship? Blair Witch came to mind first as well. You know everyone who paid a bit of attention to this will go see the movie.

Another thing though, is the poor people who buy into the hoax thinking they are about to be Enlightened & loved & all that stuff.

Then when they find out 100% it was a hoax.....

Not everyone is strong enough to take the shame that shat could generate.

If this is a Publicity stunt.. and some ppl end up comitting suicide over it...

Well I tell yer, the movie Co. is gunna' be screwed bigtime.. though they would prolly spin it to their advantage..

If that gets closer to earth things are gonna' get intresting.

i made a comment about it a few hours back
it was a lot smaller and futher away then
it has definatly come closer

it looks to be very big too, dont forget the camera is a massive distance from it
im not saying `oh lets clap our hands this is it`
but i assure you its only stationary at the moment
give it an hour itll start moving again

You seem to be seeing a very different image. What are the x y values on your view?

Im viewing with X 8.2 and Y -1.3.

I see the planet and to the upper LEFT grey looking object which doesnt look like star and very much looks like a metal object of some description. As I said it doesnt seem to have moved and i guess its another satellite.

So no... don't tell her anything that you aren't 100% sure of.

the tate dot org base site looks like a warez engine to me....

Thats very interesting, that pretty much confirms its metallic.

If you switch your x and y to x 8.2 and y-1.3 and look again you will see the "white" reflection has faded and its a dull grey object which would seem to indicate its reflecting light not generating it.

From that angle it does seem to be a satellite but thats a pure guess for want of a better object. Could even be the Mia Station I suppose.

remember it isnt daylight in the uk for 4 hours
it isnt daylight in the us canada for 8 or 9 hours
it has all the time in the world if this is a ship
note i say IF because i am skeptical obviously

Am I an idiot to ask if that is the moon. Or is the moon much bigger than that? I'm not an astronomer.
