Thanks for the explanation..from your previous post it sounded like you had a close up view of this kid,and watched the crowd reaction ..live..

I was 11 at the time of woodstock..so a little young to be attending myself.. but I remember loving the music at that age.. and still do.

Love that tune by steppenwolf.... Think I may have posted it as well..way back.

have to say my two favorite steppenwolf songs are these two..and mostly because of the lyrics..

the first one always sends shivers up my spine... and I really love the message..

This next one is one I relate to
(she needs an answer to her confusion..someone to guide her with tenderness)

@Wyn Hawks

Your posts are so inspiring...this was my greatest find. My secretary was their "in town" roadie and I was trying like hell to pull investors together for this band. The record producers tyranny wanted them to be "Oingo Boingo" and nothing else. Avila a total genius, him and his guitar are one...did not spend much time with Hernandez, just met him once and Tovar was a producer later in his own right, but I think in television. But FOOD for FEET....it was a movement on its own, committed to so many pertinent issues. I was in this audience that night and many more. Someone stole my demo cd...or never returned or something...arghhhh!

Anywho...this ones for you Wyn Hawks...hope you love it.

I have always had a firm love for Classical music. This music not only stimulates brain waves but also it's beauty is unmatched. Fur Elise for instance, is such a beautiful instrumental it evokes a certain emotion inside you that you just cannot get from garbage like lady gaga or any of todays leading ingrates. The music of this generation has no soul, no heart, no.......nothing.. Aside from the classical period, I am a big fan of metallica and symphonic black metal. I think Nothing Else Matters and Fur Elise is a perfect mixture of the way I feel almost every day. This is likely the soundtrack of my Misanthropy.

I did not know any of this about them other than they were a convergence of rare genius and talent that was lightning in a bottle, for a little while anyway.

You have the talent that recognizes these convergences Wyn Hawks, but you are wise to not to produce.

Thanks for the link!
