Too large to be executed??

Can't they just put him on a strict diet and make him lose weight. I mean he is in prison afterall, doesn't he sort of have no choice in what he eats?

Even though the inmate deserves death (Eye for an eye). It disgusts me on how you insist on using high caliber weapons. Playing too many video games?
They probably want to use lethal injection because it's the least painful?

Look, Lombozo mentioned high caliber because it probably guarantee a quick a painless death, as opposed to shooting a 0.22 at a fat person. What's hard to get?

ive never understood this? why do people care if its painful? it sure as hell should be painful. These people murdered people. They KILLED SOMEONE...why should they get the benefit of a painless death? something like lawn darts would be a good idea...j/k but putting a bullet in these scumbags head isnt "inhumane" its a quick death.

To keep our humanity. Yes, they killed someone.

And subsequently, it was decided by people who didn't know them to end their life as well.

Does that mean that the decision to end the life was made gleefully? Does that mean that lethal injection is a humane strategy for the injectee?

No.

It means that we don't want to take on their qualities. I am sure that the administrators do not enjoy their job. And they want to distance themselves as much as possible from the brutality of their job and those who have forced their hand.

We should never take joy in the death of a human...I don't care if he or she is a monster. It is a shame and a disgrace that it should occur...and we should make it as quiet and painless as possible, for all involved.

Execution is not for revenge. Revenge is the game of animals. Execution is a form of social deterrent.

For example, in the west cattle rustling was punishable by hanging. Why? Who was hurt? Stuff was stolen, but why kill someone? BECAUSE, in that time Cattle was THE biggest industry, and so it needed to be protected. It was easy to steal cattle, and so they created HUGE fines (i.e. death) for those who did it, so as to deter the behavior.

I'm sick of these people hungry for vengence who want to kill another human being out of bloodlust. We are talking about Justice here, not Vengence.

Truth be told, I don't play video games. I said exactly what I meant. High caliber means a very quick 'finish'. Would you perhaps prefer dipping this rapist/murderer in honey and chaining him next to an anthill?

Guess you are not aware that in US prisons, you can obtain ANYTHING you want....and get to go shopping at their commissary to buy any junk food you want.

Lets see....prison life: junk food, TV, porn, drugs....and the list goes on. What a sweet punishment.

I like the "make him work his fat off before executing him" idea.

In this case I'd like to see them bring 'ol sparky' back out of the mothballs. At least some justice would be served to the women who were raped and murdered in prime of life.

Sometimes I wonder if it wouldn't be worth it for some homeless to be in jail rather than out on the street with no home at all. If it weren't for the sodomy and all I might say yes it would be better life in jail.

Firing squad is still used in some states isn't it? Screw the injections, all you need is 6 guns and 3 bullets. Easier than spending an hour digging around for a vein.

Excuse me, we are not talking about cattle here...we are talking about TWO human lives that were taken without thought or remorse. I am almost 100% sure that if he had not been caught there would be several more. This is not a man, this is a monster who preys on innocent people. He does not deserve to live, he is a menace to society. Why should my tax dollars go to housing, clothing, and feeding him?

Inject air into his jugular vein? It would only take about twenty seconds, plus I've heard it is a painless death as your heart basically explodes.

Numb the neck / Cut off the head. Quick and painless .The brain won't be sending any signals to the body. Plus cheaper than the elec. chair.

I saw this on Fox this morning. Hilarious story! It just goes to show how foolish our judicial system can be when it comes to coddling criminals. I can't believe how long we keep these guys on death row. If it were up to me, they'd be beheaded an hour after they're sentenced (on pay-per-view TV!).

What makes it even more amusing is how heinous this dude's crimes were.

Seriously....what would be JUSTICE when a person murders or rapes another INNOCENT person? If it is not death, what should it be?

Exacto mundo q-p. We are not talking about a man. But of a monster that would have killed again and again and again. Because he liked it. No more than a pit bull who killed or maimed being put down. How was this ward of the state allowed to balloon? That's my and yours tax money at work.

He's on death row Kill him!!! Just kill him!!! Did the victim have a choice before they were killed He should have been killed before he got fat. I really have no mercy for murderers and believe they should die just as violently as their victim did. Just kill him and save the food for the hungry. Seriously, justice needs to be done.
