no offence to the op of this particular thread,sounds all too familiar of the recent spate of sightings and "insider revelations"

if i'm a member of an ..organization that wants the jump,even metaphorically speaking,on others,i'd certainly want ongoing speculation.if i had nothing,it helps.if i had something,it helps even moreso....yawn

It still doesn't 100% make sense, but it seems you said that. If you were in an organization that wants a "jump" (Even hypothetically) you'd want to keep speculations even if you had nothing?

Due to the coincedental threads appearing of so called 'ufo sightings in progress' over the last few days,I am led to believe that these threads are carried out by several people who are orchestrating a hoax, or that they are written by one person using different identities.

The reason I say this is because with all these threads there hasn't been a shred of evidence that these sightings took place. No video or photo? Seems a little strange to me

That Lake Erie video is old. I seen it over a year ago.

I'll break this down since I understand what he's saying.. (I think)

Say you're the government.. You know UFO's are real, you tell people that they're not.. The people say you're lying and that you have the technology..

Then, say you don't know if UFO's are real or not, again say they're not, and so again people say that you're lying and that you have the tech..

How can you lose? Everyone thinks you have it.

yeah, those are called commercial aircrafts. there was a massive thread regarding the eerie video + it was proved to be a fraud (there's an airport right over where you see the planes flying).

I'm in Western Ky, and I was star gazing for over two hours early this morning (2:00 am to 4:30 am) while at work and saw several shooting stars. Also, I saw something really strange. It was the color of a shooting star, kinda yellowish-white but this one was bigger and much slower. It moved north and was very bright but then the light faded and I watched it go on into the distance. I'm not sure what it was. The other shooting stars were moving many times faster and disappeared once they burned out. This one didn't really "disappear" though the light faded.

I also saw a diamond shape object moving to the west. I could tell it was diamond shaped because of the light pattern on it. It may have just been a plane, but I didn't hear any sound.

I don't want to get a camera and take pictures of them as a way to provide evidence other than my words, too lazy. Maybe the camera isn't fully charged anyway or maybe the memory's full. Eh maybe it wouldn't work anyway. Eh.

I'm typing this right now and I can still see them still moving from where I'm sitting now! Woooo. You people wouldn't believe it! Wooooo. By the way this is very true because I said it so. If you don't belive me then you are ignorant! Wow! now the ufos are dancing! up down, up down! Wooo! I can see it now while I'm typing! Woooo!! This is exciting!

see now that's not being a skeptic, that's just being mean. I get skepticism, I mean there have been no pictures, no video, no anything except text. As of this point it's hard to believe the incident even occured (save the fact that 3 people have claimed to have apparently seen it). But hey, let's at least be kind and wait for something.

If nothing comes of it so be it, the thread dies/is closed. No reason to act mean.

No offense and not to kill the mood but it seems kinda like your script that you wrote to that publisher, that didn't like it.

lagos is right, there was a thread (I think that there were at least two threads) about those videos in, if my memory is working right, 2006.

The lights seen on those videos were consistent with flight paths over lake Erie to an airport, even the way the lights changed was consistent with an "S" curve made to point the aeroplanes into the right runway, people who live near airports will probably know what I mean.

As for this thread's topic, I will wait patiently for the photos (if the camera was not his and he was not at home I understand why djerwulfe's relative must wait 8 hours for the photos).

But if there is a prison on that area, could it be an attempt to liberate someone? Something like that has happened many times in many countries.

For those who may be interested, the perseid meteor shower is normally at it`s peak between the nights of Aug. 11th-Aug. 13th. Myself and a couple of friends go out every year at this time and watch them, very cool stuff.

Oh, and by the way, skeptics, ya gotta love em. You could have dozens of pictures and enough video to make a movie, and it still wouldn`t be good enough. I say it`s good enough proof that you saw it yourself, to heck with the skeptics. Let them go find their own UFO`s. But then again, they still wouldn`t believe it if they did see one.

as an aside,i'm like most skeptics.i wouldn't be here if i didn't want to see evidence.20 years looking for it and finding nothing tends to lead to an inconclusive conclusion

Do you go out and look for them? Or do you just set and wait for everyone else to do the looking for you? Like my friends and I say, it`s not a picture that`s going to make one believe, it`s seeing it in the sky yourself that will make one a believer.
