Alright, let's not get into a hissy fit about who seen what, etc.

The truth of it is 3 other people in this very thread have stated that they have seen the SAME thing in the SAME general area. Just because you don't have physical proof doesn't mean it isn't there.

Check my video I posted..The Lake Erie video back on page 4. Supposedly that is what everyone has been seeing as of late.

I was talking to a friend on MSN about this (I live in CA she lives in KY) and I told her to look outside and see if she saw anything.. According to her there was something bigger than a star, that was white on bottom, red on top that she could see just above the tree's.. It was there for a while then she went to look again and it was gone..

I'm constantly looking out to see if I can spot anything here on the west..

Wow it seems like spotting a ufo is soo easy. I must be cursed by the will of Zeus.

I went out and looked around 4:00AM EST.

I live coastal, eastern seaboard, lets say close to washington DC.

I looked north, west, and northwest, and saw nothing but clear skies and stars.

I then looked east-north-east and a helicopter caught my eye. nothing unusual. so then I keep looking in that general direction, and WAYYY off in the distance, I mean so far I couldn't make out anything consistent, I saw a few blinks of very faint light, what looked like white or offwhite light, that would blink on for a fraction of a second and then vanish almost instantly. They were so faint and far away in appearance that I had to keep observing to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

I wouldn't worry about that too much. Most likely it was just a very distant star that your eye kept trying to focus in. Happens all the time to me.

I am in NE Ohio. Did not see anything earlier when I was driving home.

Need to go check again.

Anyway, i checked out those videos that you posted links to back on page 4. The UFO's above that lake seem like genuine UFO's this time round. At first i thought the lights were of a Police car, but a Police car on a lake? I don't think so..

Haha...No problem man. And yea, when I first saw that video I was like "What...in..the..hell..is that!?"

Way too much cloud cover right now, bit late but not seeing anything. I am wondering if its the same object me and my friend spotted last night though.

Well, still no sightings here.. There's something off to the north that has been blinking and not moving, but not betting on it being a spacecraft.

Well guys I'm off for one more time of stargazing and then I'm off to bed. I'll check in on intervals on my phone later just to see whats going on. So if anything unusual happens..POST IT!!!

Well I can't sleep so I decided to catch up on what's been goin on since I left.

Jester, what you said about that trucker made me get chills. It's so odd that so many different people are seeing some sort of "object" on the same night.

Matrix, those videos were amazing. The Lake Eerie one is the best footage I've seen of a U.F.O., well two, in my life.

Something is up guys, just don't know what yet...

Hate to sound like a party-pooper but could the spate of sightings from a day ago somehow be mis-identified meteors?

I mean there is a meteor shower that's going on right now if I'm not mistaken.

Just trying to keep all possibilities opened here.

Yea, meteor showers are a possibility, but it doesn't explain the fireball going UP.. It does, however explain the rise in shooting star sightings.

And most people seem to be seeing the same craft, or a very close resemblance to one another.

Very good point, The Perseid Shower is from July 15 to around August 25. From my experience with these showers, most meteors fall in a somewhat "uniform" manner; the claims made by some here are not reported as a "uniform" fall (so to speak).

Granted, I do believe that all possibilities are on the table, something just seems off to me for some reason.

I have definitely been seeing a lot of meteors. Counted 5 last night and 4 the night before, and my eyes weren't even glued to the skies for as long as they could have been. But I have been seeing a lot of strange moving lights, always looks like an orange orb of light, no sound, always disappears out of thin air. Always in different parts of the sky haven't noticed any consistancy between time/place.

I do not have a cell phone or my own camera, no proof just want to report my experience over the past week to add to the strangeness of these Ohio sightings.
