The poor and middle classes are the pawns in a rich man's game of chess. Once in a while they'll sacrifice one of their own, but they usually manage to rescue their fellow in some way

this is poetic enough but what does it mean exactly? i understand vaguely what you're trying to say but is it possible for you to offer something a little more specific? unless we can come down to cases this becomes little more than hand waving.

Pretending to be ignorant of concepts expressed in simple English won't work with me. I've worked with criminals for the last 22 years. I know just about every trick in the book.

Pop your head out of your rear end. Not everyone is going to slurp up your pathetic propaganda.

the "concept" is vague, ill-formed, inchoate. if you have anything in particular you want to discuss i'm eager to do so, but saying "blah blah pawns in a chess game" is like a coach saying "well we have to block and run the ball and hold them on defense and if we score more points than them i think we might win the game"

i don't want a physical revolution - i just want people to wake up and realize that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US IS NO BETTER THAN THE OTHER, but our elite want us to think otherwise; they want us to think that we need them because we can't do everything on our own - which we can!!! we're ALL capable of learning ANYTHING if we just open up our minds and use the brain God gave each one of us. it's all about being spiritual, and STO (service to others) in order to keep brotherly love alive and kicking. there should be NO forms of government, economy, or religion. helping your fellow soulmates across the globe is what it's all about, to come together and unite all of mankind to advance spiritually as one species, and become that much closer to God.

and no, i'm not talking about the material-based NWO...

Peace & Love to all! and open your minds! sheesh lol

I hope your not hinting at me being a communist. Ha... and bill gates and melinda? Well 1st off bill wants to move his company outta country cause he doesn't want to pay his employees as much, or he doesn't want american workers, and if they wanted to make a difference, give everyone in U.S. A million dollars, they'd still have 22 billion afterwards. Does that make sense? Millions people die for stupid reasons and this dude has enough money to make everyones life. Yeah f him. Money is pointless unless your life depends on it. Well enjoy

It's the political elite, the power elite, and the money elite that always rule the world. If the wisdom elite ruled it, I'm sure it would be a much better place. But that will never happen. And besides, who would be qualified to decide what constitutes wisdom?

But I'm on your side, really. Because a revolution would only make things worse.

As beautiful as that may sound,it's nothing more than a delusion. As much as I wish, there will never be peace and prosperity on this planet. Haven't you noticed all the creeds, races and religions always fighting for their little peice of the self empowering pie? It is and will always be a power struggle to put a certain people on top.

As far as I'm concerned, every race and religion is corrupt.Religion itself is a sham. I have my pesronal beliefs and pray and study in my own way to bring me my own personal peace in my life. I would never attend a hypocritical church ever again.

"The spread of knowledge and education has taught mankind little in the art of self control, and even less in living peacably with one another." (Author Unknown)

Look at history. Nothing but mere corruption and anihilation which continues to this very day, benefitting ONLY those who are in power. No decision is ever made on behalf of us civilians who truly are the ones who keep this world running. If they make a decision on our behalf ,IT MUST BE ELECTION TIME! No matter how good somebody's intentions may be when they start out in a position of power, they sooner or later become mad/drunk with power.

people are paranoid about the power being in the hands of the "elite" but two things. first, who is better qualified to make decisions that dictate the fate of humanity than the elite? do you seriously prefer government of, by, and for the mediocre?

The answer is YES. Who's more qualified than the working class who actually live in this reality and are the actual people who make this and ANY system work. I would rather my decisions based by a hard working man/woman who has broken his/her back for a living, make an honest decison which he/she knows will affect the outcome of their family and their kind of working people.

The rich elite who have been spoiled to death since birth and had everything handed to them live in an illussional, alternate reality. I'm sorry if millions and billions of dollars isn't enough for them, but a majority of civilization is barely surviving.Besides the fact that they're hypocrites and prosecute people for petty crimes when they themselves committ atrocities on an astronomical scale and label us "criminals"

Remember this: The rich and elite are absolutely useless w/out us. They can have all the plans and ideas they wish but w/out executing them, they are just fantasy.

I will live my life as I feel fit and as peaceably as humanly possible. I do not believe a majority of these people deserve to live, let alone be in power. As far as us humans as a species, we aren't mentally, physically, spiritually or compassionatly capable enough and should be ashamed of our selves. I have more respect for animals than humans who are selfish and self centered.

If there's going to be a revolution or not only time can tell. Do I think it is justifiable. Absolutely.

You want to make a change?
VOTE FOR ME FOR PRSEIDENT!!!!

First act will be to imprison all of the parties for their crimes against humanity.

hyperbole. i do believe the government has the right, the obligation, to gather intelligence. people who are not doing anything wrong have nothing to fear.

I hope you aren't serious. That's a sheep mentality for sure, regardless of the topic and I barely even buy into the NWO. Seriously you are either hopeless naive or too much of an idealist. All people in power want more power; they achieve that through control of others. Doesn't matter who gets in the way. In the NWO world people are talking about, you have no rights.

I am sure those people who had their homes broken into while sleeping and terrified by a police SWAT team when they did nothing wrong feel the same.

Or that 13 year old girl who was accused of having Ibuprofen on her. So they searched her bag because she said "She had nothing to hide." They still didn't believe her and gave her a strip search against her will.

I am sure people would have taken your statements somewhat seriously if you didn't use that pathetic reasoning to answer his question. Judging from that I can guess you are the type of person to roll over no matter what happens.

Giving everyone a million dollars is a poor idea anyway. The poor will still be poor, the prices of things will rise, and the rich would still be rich. Everyone would be back at where they started.

As for the topic on hand:

It's a strange issue, you are implying that the Elites should run the world, and I suppose that it depends on what qualifies as "Elite".

I don't want a plutocracy or dictatorship.

In response to the last poster... NO!!

If the GOVERNMENT gave everyone a million dollars all that would happen is prices would rise.

Whereas if a bill gates type did it prices would not rise.

the difference being when the gov gives people money they PRINT the money to give them

money from bill gates is already in the economy therefore it wouldn't cause prices to rise except by profiteers and etc looking to rape whoever they can.

Whereas the bill and miranda gates foundation just like warren Buffett's foundation are both a mechanism for said parties to hold onto their wealth and even generate more wealth while maintaining a tax exempt status.

Do yourself a favor and rather than making yourself look stupid read up on the tax codes of non profit orgs sometimes and on the accounting concepts that make it profitable for nearly every wealthy family to have a charitable foundation that they use as a holding pool for assets to avoid paying taxes. Because here's a helpful hint the ford foundation the rothschilds rockefellers and the carnegie's were ALL implicated in funding the medical experimentation on prisoners in nazi germany through their non profit and charitable foundations!!!

and you think that these same people are the fittest to rule the world?

longtime lurker, first time poster. i'm mostly interested in the occult and secret societies but sometimes i read the more politically oriented forums here and i'm always taken aback by the amount of angst and unrest.

people are paranoid about the power being in the hands of the "elite" but two things. first, who is better qualified to make decisions that dictate the fate of humanity than the elite? do you seriously prefer government of, by, and for the mediocre?

second, with or without the move toward an interconnected world and the eventual formation of a world government, the "elite" are always going to be in charge. put a group of people on a desert island in the pacific and a caste system and divsion of labour is naturally going to occur. it's unavoidable.

the ideals of adam weishaupt were commendable. a world based on ideals like these would be far preferable to the helter skelter chaos that existed before the movement toward consolidtation of power for the common good. these are similar to the ideals espoused by plato in his republic.

here are the facts: more can be accomplished for the common good when power is consolidated than when everything is in a state of chaos and disorder. the "elite" are considered the elite for a reason and they are the best people to lead in the changing world. the interconnectivity of the world is unavoidable, borders want to disappear and information wants to be free. here is the kicker: this gestalt shift doesn't need to be violent or painful. it's only going to be violent and painful if people insist on making it violent and painful by complicating the transition. if you think about it for even a moment, the so-called "new world order" is an improvement in every sense of the word.

Hey hi, yeah didn't say the government should give everyone a million dollars, posing hypotheticals, I forget how or why I brought it up, and no BILL GATES giving everyone a mil won't make cost of jack go up. And if it did I think it would be enough to maybe start that revolution.

Also a long time lurker about to throw his 2 cents in.

To start, I agree with Slothrop in almost every point he makes. Where we differ, however, is HOW pulling everything under one roof, as it were, is being done.

*points up*
That's our destiny folks and, like it or not, the only way we'll survive long enough to fulfill it is to put our poop in a group and start acting like global citizens instead of tribal half-monkies. The alternatives are a sure slide to a dead and forgotten civilization that didn't make it.

Comments like the previous "We like our individualism" are silly. What, boarders are going to suddenly vanish if we come under one planet wide government? The U.S. itself is a smaller example of different regions under one central government, although I think the current incarnations are in dire need of an extreme throttling and smacking around.

I digress, the point of difference is corruption, greed and power (AKA Current day Fascism) are the apparent driving force behind the push to a NWO, that's what I have a beef with.

Unfortunately, how it should be and how it really is are on about opposite sides of the spectrum. That's why, while I agree with Slothrop almost on all key points, my desire for revolution is strong..that's just how I'm made. I'm Ex Military and I've always felt I was born to fight the good fight, a personally held view. So I wait for the day I may be called to sacrifice myself, not for my country, but more importantly the principals it was founded on. IMHO it's better to fight and die for those principals, than to meekly submit and watch the world slide into, if anything, something resembling a world half Blade Runner and half V for Vendetta.

The very things that keep the greedy and corrupt in power are what necessitate revolution to pull it down from time to time. As the great Thomas Jefferson said:

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

Rarely have truer words been spoken. The question is when is the right time for the refresh? Who throws that first stone? What event is THE one that really start that ball rolling? The longer you let corruption and greed fester, the harder and longer it takes to root out...as it always has. Let us not forget the fascists of WWII and how they came into their power. It's a cycle, a cycle we've been repeating since the dawn of civilization.

People, we're hardly out of the trees as it is. In the last 100 years alone we've gone to riding horses and farming to having the ability to land on the Moon and Mars and, oh yes, the ability to pretty much destroy the planet for all intents and purposes in any number of colorful and interesting ways.

We're incredibly curious, smart, and very very primitive all at the same time. Whether or not we make it and no matter what 'path' we travel down, we're all in for a hell of a ride!

Has it ever occurred to you that some people might value being an individual and individual freedoms over being part of the hive-mind? People like this never cease to amaze me...or unnerve me. Their perspectives are so far from what seems human to me, that being the desire to be a strong individual person, with a unique personality, that I might as well be talking to some sort of alien race. I understand that society has raised them this way, so they are good worker bees that fit smoothly into society, but that does not make it any less disturbing.

To sum up the reason why people would be against the concept you extol? Because there will always be those who want to strive to be free, unique, and exceptional. How dare we.
