For a board so open about ufo's ghost, and everything paranormal...you guys sure are close minded when it comes to race. All I see are a bunch of white people afraid of the black man becoming president, sure you guys hide behind politics saying he can't do this or he lied about that. I ask any one of you to name one person who has run for office and was truthful about everything. George Bush seems like he is one of the biggest liars and also one of the most hated presidents, sounds like you rather have someone who caused war on false pretenses than to have a black president who has the occasional slip of the tongue.

I know i'm going to hear people come back and say things like....here we go again someone screaming racism....blah blah blah. Sure some of you may not like him for his politics but I am sure that most are about his race.

And all I see from posts such as yours is a totally naive and simplistic point of view. People all over this board have been saying that they don't give a rats a$$ about the race of the candidates, it is their policies and judgement - or lack thereof - that matter. And in the case of Obama, there's seems to be nothing but fluff and a bunch of people (Obamaphiles) in love with the man like he was rock star and for no other reason.

Real tough for a Liberal congress to get anything done with a unpopular Conservative President.

And if the democrat congress' abysmal approval ratings had anything to do with their perceived lack of standing up to Bush then, logically, Bush's approval ratings should be lower still. Perhaps you liberals should use your heads for something other than a hair farm.

By the way...Bush is no conservative. He never was and he will never be.

The only one that brought race into this discussion is you! It seems to me that you have some racial skeletons in your own closet! Nice try liberal.

Funny isn't it? When 90% of Blacks are voting for a Black man (half-Black BTW) simply because he's Black then there is no problem.

When White people are voting for the guy with more experience and doesn't flip-flop on major issues, then they are racist, simply because they are not voting for the Black man.

Most liberals want to vote in a Black man to POTUS because they think they are getting closer to unity.

What if that Black man was only half-Black and his family is mostly Arabic on his Father's side? What if this Black man is using his "half-Black" heritage as a huge crutch at your gullible expense to gain the most powerful position in the world (POTUS)?

What if he sold you out for your gullability on the issues you believed he would stand for (i.e. Gun control, Patriot Act, Public Funding, Iraq War)?

Truth is, he already certainly has.

Yes, definately the most arrogant and ignorant post I have seen today. I've read every single post in this thread up to here and not one mention of race. For you to use the word MOST is arrogant, since you can be sure of nothing of the sort when the evidence indicates exactly the opposite.
Which then makes it an ignorant post.
Did you mean to be intentionally offensive in an attempt to derail the thread ?

I hate it when someone brings up race in this country. Unless your a 1st generation off the boat, your race is American Melting pot. Get over it. We are all stuck in this country together. As for Obama, I can't help but think of another Democrat that that was young. He also had change on his mind too. He didn't last long though. If we want a solution the best solution would be 3 party coucilship in place of the presidential seat. Equal representation on both parties and an independant. Limited Veto powers. Stalemates would happen but they could be negotiated or be decided by the independant's vote. A balance of power would be established then as well as it could be. Equal Representation as well as it can be.

Today I saw a car with a bumper sticker that said "republicans for Obama",
That doesn't make a lick of sense, none what so ever. If your republican it meens you don't agree with far left politics......and thats what Obama represents, far, far left politics. I thought, this person is just using some sort misleading lies to make people think they're republican or their black and can't refrain with their pride. Drove up to get a better look, fat black lady with nasty dreadlocks and african beeds.

This guy is a joke, and we are seeing the sheep being led by this wolf.

How the hell can congress get anything done where Bushie here continues to vetoe the bills put forward? Seriously? We have the righties here complaning congress hasnt done anything, the democrat congress that got elected just under 2years ago way after all this BS started with the economy and this war, then we have Bushie making vetos like the bill on ending CIA Torture or when he vetoes the Iraq spending bill brought forward by congress or when he vetoes the farm bill for the first time. Unless congress gets some of the righties to go to their side how hell are they suppose to get anything done? These issues facing america today are on the heads of the GOP controlled whitehouse, congress may take some responsibility but I think its utter BS to blame congress all the time.

The minute Bush was elected, all liberals were to "shut up" and leave the handling of the nations to the righties. Shame on us libs for allowing Billo to cheat on his wife! my we messed up the country that time! its high time to bring in right wing conservative values! The righties will take full responsibility for the country! 8years later we'r in this mess and all I hear are these excuses about how its the congress elected 2years ago, lets not blame Bushie and Karl Rove.

I wonder what will be the excuse if Obamas elected and he actually puts this country right? Oh I know what the next right wing excuse will be, "oh that problem was all congresses fault, your only seeing the longterm positive effects of Bushes handling of the nation!?"

Wow so clever of you do of figured out all of our motives, because people can't be against this guy unless their white huh, thats why he loses the hispanic vote and asian vote. The only people voting for this douche bag are stupid white people and prideful black people. Half my family is Asian and I have heard them say how stupid these white people are to be fooled by this man. You sir, are just an ignorant person.

Think what way, she was a fat black lady with African beeds, I know it's like pointing out the elephant in the room, but it's obvious that he gets 99% of the black vote, is that just a coincidence or should I keep my mouth shut because it's not PC to point out the obvious.

In an ideal world I would like to believe that we're all in this mess together, but the truth is that blacks will always be seen as bottom of the barrel, this is still verymuch a racist nation and the fact that two thirds of images potraying blacks are in crime, and the other third mainly consists of basket ball players and artists, there is still racism.

I dont believe its fair to call all those critical of Obama racist, thats just BS, but the fact is that if we continue to see personal attacks against Obama, 90% of the reasoning from righties not voting for Obama due to personal issues, suspicions, I dont blame the way some supporters look at this.

First off I think you are the igorant one given your comment above about the Lady who you said had "nasty dreadlocks", and the one just above regarding Obama as a "douche bag".

Secondly, it's well known that Asians were primarily voting for Hillary. I saw many documentaries where American Asians were much more conservative on the whole when voting in the primaries.

Especially on the west coast , where you are.

Hey dude, you don't got to attack me like your some big bad bully, I never said anything racist or ignorant, I said she had nasty dreadlocks, not dreadlocks, she had nasty dreadlocks, there is a difference, my best friend has clean dreadlocks, she had nasty ones. I am a tollerent person, don't get me wrong, I have friends of all kinds, I just have a natural ease at seeing the obvious.
