Personally I don't have a problem what people say. Its a free world. I'm only saying that be cautious before you label this as 'disclosure'...

I can't refute nor prove what he is saying. Essentially this takes us nowhere. I'm disappointed and not excited as others just because I have more expectations from people like him, that they will say and substantiate it .

Try convicting or sending someone to jail with an argument like - "the dead man came back to me as spirit and told this person has murdered him" or "This man is guilty because aliens told so".... Imagine that you are the top most scientist and saying this in court of law and when they escort you out, you will realize how wrong your analogy is.

The bottom line is : Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
Here, we have oft repeated words and not even a hint of evidence.

Its hard to believe what these astronauts say because a lot of them act weird and do strange things.
Remember that woman astronaut that drove around in diapers many miles.

Seems I got my predictions of yesterday 100% right. Number 2 is even happening on this thread, with several people already hinting (if not outright saying) that Mitchell is a bit weird, flaky, nuts, etc... The post above me even extends that brush to astronauts in general.

That this is 'old news' is irrelevant ... It might be so to us, but to most of the millions of rockheads who listen to Kerrang radio I'm sure it's not.

That Mitchell has had 'faith-based' healing for cancer and thinks it worked is irrelevant. Makes absolutely no difference to the validity (or otherwise) of his story and revelations.

That he has presented any evidence in the form of tape-recordings, photos. etc, is irrelevant. Someone of his training, achievements, and technical background is about as unimpeachable a witness as you can get to confirm or deny the truth of the situation.

If he had denied it all there would now be a horde of debunkers on here screaming 'SEE, WE TOLD YOU!... You got it straight from the horse's mouth!'... The fact that he's done, and continues to do the opposite and testify to the truth of UFOs, Aliens, and the world's governments' involvement with them must be a real ball of bile stuck in the back of those debunkers' throats.

That he has been doing this for ten years with little success is irrelevant. WE are now in an age where information travels to the other side of the planet in an instance. If someone sees a UFO in Outer Mongolia the rest of the world can know about it in a matter of minutes. If a UFO flap occurs in the UK, the rest of the UK and the rest of the internet connected world can know about before the MSM and TPTB have even picked up the news.

What I'm getting at is that it is becoming harder and harder to keep the lid on this thing. Two much info immediately available to all and sundry, and sooner or later the lid will come flying of... Mr Mitchell's continual assertions as to what he knows and has seen can only help the cause!

I don't know to be honest.... They way he stumbles in his speech and takes a while to think before he speaks kind of gives out the hint that he is either making this up, or carefully choosing his words to not give away too much suspicion. Even if he is a figure head so what ? George bush is a figure head.

This guy is probably just trying to spark the fire.... he was too vague with his descriptions and did you notice how the interviewer quickly asked a different question when he realized that the astronaut was struggling to answer the previous one ? To my knowledge interviewers try to drag out as much as they can in an interview.... not hide or dismiss it.

All the credentials in the world will do no good... all it does is make a more credible story... in the end without the photo, the bolt, the body... its just a story and comes down to if you believe the story

That is the problem... No one will be able to label him kook and convince anyone... and I applaud his conviction...

this has infact been picked up by the main stream media i first heard about this from fox news this morning and came here after work to see if it had been picked up by ats i dont know to what extent it was being covered by fox as all i heard was the initial statement Edgar Mitchell nasa astronaut speaks out on radio atesting to the fact that the ufo phenom is real or something along those lines
