Here is the report:

U.S., Allies Give Iran Ultimatum After Nuclear Talks Stall

www.foxnews.com...

GENEVA — A U.S. decision to bend policy and sit down with Iran at nuclear talks fizzled Saturday, with Iran stonewalling Washington and five other world powers on their call to freeze uranium enrichment.

In response, the six gave Iran two weeks to respond to their demand, setting the stage for a new round of U.N. sanctions.

Iran's refusal to consider suspending enrichment was an indirect slap at the United States, which had sent Undersecretary of State William Burns to the talks in hopes the first-time American presence would encourage Tehran into making concessions.

But so far time and again these kind of deadlines or ultimatums pass without incident. Who knows what will happen this time?

Will Israel continue to wait?

Seeing that Iran has been signing deals with Russia and Russia stated it will defend Iran, is there any doubt that if Iran wants Nuclear capability it can have it? or already does?
I'm in agreement that a conflict with Iran by us or through Israel is
inevitable.

I have seen these claims around but haven't found any substance to it.

Do you or ANYONE reading this have any evidence that Russia 'officially' said they would defend Iran?

Any credible sources?

Ahh, I see the war-mongers are out in full force today, cheerleading on the next neanderthalistic disaster. Let's march right into armeggeddon! YAAAYYY!!!

If Iran is such a huge sponsor of terrorism, then what on earth does that make this War-crazy gov of ours? Who is causing more bloodshed and chaos throughout the world here? I can't believe the hypocracy of some of you people...

Just a simple answer please Dimensional. Is it in your interest for Iran to gain nukes?

For the record the LAST thing I want to see happen is another damned war in the middle east, I am simply sharing the news reports and information here.

I really want to believe that nothing will happen, that this will all be resolved and everyone lives happily ever after... But what if it does go the other way?

Isn't it better to be as informed as we can?

I can only imagine what it will be like following any military actions on Iran and an Iranian retaliation.

Oil prices? economic collapse, terrorist attacks???

There has got to be a better way right?

Iran (a proven state sponsor of terror) is going for nukes clear as day. Time is being wasted dilly dallying around waiting for what? An Iranian climb down? It clearly just isn't going to happen. The only way of stopping the main pillar within The Axis of Evil is by other means.

Really? Sean Hannity, is that you? If not, do you listen to the Sean Hannity Show? I mean, I am impressed with your ability to produce bumper-sticker tripe, but come now, you must be joking. Tell me you're joking.

Nope. But I'm impartial to it. When two of the biggest war-mongers and trouble makers on the face of the earth (the U.S. gov and Israeli gov) are allowed to carry them, then they have no business telling other nations that they can't as well.

I'm curious, IF we attack Iran, and somehow Iran is able through terrorists to set off suicide-nukes in the USA and/or Israel, how would you answer to your above statements?

We had it coming?

We should have left them alone?

If America starts the war they deserve everything they get and then some. The civilians of America may not deserve it, but then again neither did the civilians of Iran, or Iraq, or Afghanistan, or any other place the U.S. decides to invade.

Ironic you should mention that. You are aware that OUR OWN MILITARY flew nukes over civilian populations and has LOST some, right?

So I suppose that when one of these nukes goes off, you will be assured that it is the "Iranian boogeymen" that your gov has been brainwashing you with...And you will likely be cheering on the war in a form of "patriotism"....I can say that, because I was once brainwashed like that and bought into this endless circle of lies. No more.

I hear a lot of rhetoric from both sides of the coin on this issue, but when I see the actual ACTIONS over the past several years, I see only one side constantly doing the attacking and invading. It is time to stop this lunacy.

In my opinion, any country or government who at present time has in thier possesion nuclear weapons and the ability to strike with them at a moments notice, has no buissnes and no right telling other countries that they can not have them.

I mean next we are going to have countires turning to others and saying...."Well guns are dangerous as well so you guys cant have those.....just never mind all these guns pointed at you...we promise we won't use them"

Are you implying that the US government would nuke American cities simply to pursue their lust for war with Iran?

I admit the Barksdale missile incident was odd, but really... a conspiracy to nuke Americans and make it look like the bad guys did it?

Do you know that nukes made from plutonium and highly refined uranium would leave behind a radioactive signature that can be traced back to the source?

Not sure how the US would pull of a nuke attack on Americans, make it look like the bad guys did it when it could be traced back to US produced nuclear fuel.

It wouldn't necessarily have to be the gov directly. They could just as easily say "they were STOLEN" and allow a group to "aquire" them. And when it comes to the ever-diabolical war-profiteering machine, there is NOTHING that I would put past them to keep their profits churning.

I agree with you. Isn't it much more entertaining to talk of war and not the hypocrisy that is surrounding, oh wait, it's just like watching TV or the latest blockbuster movies. We might as well be talking about last night TV shows (sorry I don't watch much TV, I'm not sure what the new hit shows are, other than that Hulk Hogan reality show, now there's entertainment, but I digress) We are so numb as a culture, so callused by being exposed to violence and rumors of war and catastrophic events every day that we fall victim or are subjugated to an illusion, confusion, a since of surreality in regards to reality.

Okay, I see a lot of threads about Russia making threats over the US made European missile defense system, and really I don't blame them. However, Nothing about Russia stating that they would defend Iran.

Am I missing it?

Yeah they did state they would defend Iran and they have some sort of pact.

According to a high-level diplomatic source in Tehran, the Supreme Leader and the Russian president essentially agreed that an American attack on Iran would be viewed by Moscow as an attack on Russia.

The two states are officially united in a strategic partnership, back from oct 2007.

www.presstv.ir...
www.atimes.com...

Why do you think Bush don't want to attack Iran?I do believe this is the real reason. He's already in on Russia's poop list.He wants Israel to take the wrap.Israel is a Rottweiler on a leash:The US wants to "set Israel loose" to attack Iran.

Thank you!

Interesting report, and since viewing your find I have found other sources.

Though, I wonder if Russia would actually defend Iran in the event of US/Israeli strikes?

They said the same in the Iraq war(s) and ultimately the Russian support for the Iraqi regime consisted of the sale weaponry, and outdated defense technologies.

I'll be looking deeper into this angle on the defense of Iran now though.

Thanks again!

The most horrific impact of a US assault on Iran, of course, would be the potentially catastrophic number of casualties. The Oxford Research Group predicted that up to 10,000 people would die if the US bombed Iran’s nuclear sites, and that an attack on the Bushehr nuclear reactor could send a radioactive cloud over the Gulf. If the US uses nuclear weapons, such as earth-penetrating “bunker buster” bombs, radioactive fallout would become even more disastrous.Thats a link from a site.

Its either let them be and see what the future holds with Iran's real intented use with the reactors.Or have the sites bombed. Now since Iran been in the past over and over threating to blow up Israel to kingdom come. What happens if Iran builds the nuke.Comeon people....what country?even N Korea backed-out with talks.Iran been threatened by 2 countries to be bombed. In the beginning Bush was planning to use mini nukes to take out the reactors. They wont stop with the reactors with any talks we offer.

To have or not have the bomb.
