dan: how could you see colours in the night (blood, cloth)? where did the light came from?

to the rest of you "if i ever saw an alien i'd beat the crap out of it"-people: man, no wonder the aliens don't take humanity out to the stars considering such an animal behaviour! sure you'll defend your family/house but saying you'd kill any alien you meet is just ludicrous

Im not here to flame or be nasty about what you have to tell, i will raise some counter arguments though.

The photo's you showed look like scratch marks, and in my opinion the injurys if you can call them that, look mild in comparison to your described story of your fight with this thing, maybe your wife made those scratch marks to back up your story...

Also, you say you were smashing his skull over 30 times, usually when people have fights and punch that much they incur cuts and bruises on their knuckles, i dont recall you posting anything like that.

She threw it at me, so i started with my left hand to smash against its skull and right side of the face.

but it took maybe another thirty blows to the back and head.. I stood up, grabbed my ice axe from the shelf as the good news was stuck in its shoulder real deep and was about to deal a real killing blow to its skull.

Another thing, i presume this thing didnt bleed of any kind, as the fight described sounds not only violent but messy.

Just a few things which in my mind dont add up.

I say fake.

Wow....read the whole thing in one sitting. Now I'm late for work.

Dan, you referred to a poster as the "village idiot" and another one as "too stupid", just within the last 2 or 3 pages. Bad form. The story is a load of hooey too.....

A couple of things stand out.....you and your wife just happen to spell "original" incorrectly....and both of you think "would've" is some kind of contraction of "would of". Most importantly....you will not address probing, critical questions without getting aggressive and defensive. Spend enough time here and you start to notice that trait in those who may be less than forthright in their story telling. And your pictures mean nothing.....I fell into some shrubbery once and came out looking just like that.

For those of you who have decided this is on the up and up.....please, don't vote....

As I've said before (back on page 12 or something)

Dan's got track record of threads like this

He posts a dodgy pic, tells a tall tale, skips over answering the difficult questions, starts ignoring posters who push him, he'll get more aggressive and then abandon the thread

investigate his hebridean and afghanistan sightings for examples

an absolute sham and a shame aswell, he has contributed some good info to some threads, particularly the SR-72 thread.

I would like to add that some of the pictures Dan has shown us are similar to other abductees marks.

I find it highly likely that something else took place to Dan and his wife other than what they remember. 94% of all recorded cases are implanted with screen memories and even though these people feel what they experienced were as real as anything else in their lives this is not always the case and these can actually be false memories. That is why this experience may not seem so clear to you and your wife as if you had to question it the next morning when you woke up "did it really take place or was it just a dream"?

If Dans easiest way of dealing with what happened in his mind was attacking and almost killing one of these beings then they may have allowed his mind to accept that. I am not saying that is what happened but I do believe there is more than meets the eye in this story. These beings are usually in full control of situations so I feel that Dan and his wife may have repressed memories of the actual events that took place. I have no doubt that something took place and Dan was probably in a struggle of some kind with his knife or knives but whether or not what he remembers to of happened was actually the way it happened is the question. Personally I do not believe it happened the way he remembers it and those were most likely screen memories implanted into both is wife and Dans mind.

I would recommend you and your wife both do hypnotic regression sessions and dig much deeper. (Only if you feel prepared to open up that chapter)

Some of these actual event memories can be like dreams where when you wake up you somehow know you had a great dream but then suddenly you just can't remember what it was anymore.

It takes a little time and the right setting to recall such incidents.

Best of Luck.
Colleen

Actually in England would've is a perfectly acceptable alternative to writing …would have. We don’t say would of in the UK.

I do agree with the rest of your post though.

The only problem was he wasn't abducted into a "spaceship" and "experimented on", he engaged in full out Mortal Kombat on this thing, which is 6 feet tall, well built, and could take a beating of the freaking millenia, yet he walks away with a little scratch here and there.

It took more than 100 solid shots to the face, neck, chest and back.. not counting the severe wounds to its head.

Not to mention if this happened, I would
A)call the police ASAP
B)get the F*CK out of there as fast as possible
C)Never be able to sleep at night again

This is why I have suggested that what he claims to have happened or remembers to have happened may have not happened at all and these marks came from something else. (Hint) Screen memories of something that never took place or screen memories of a struggle that did in fact take place but not the way he remembers it.

It appears from the story that Dan had an encounter in the woods that was covered up and so if this is the case it is no doubt in my mind that something similar took place in their home. Most of what they both remember I believe are false or half memories, it's like replacing your physical reality with a memory of a dream. It's a fuzzy picture sometimes but the only thing you can recall so naturally your mind accepts it as an actual event or reality and you feel as if it really happened.

Best Wishes.

p.s. Governments of the world have had this kind of mind erasing and screen-memory programming technology for many years now. Similar to in the movie Total Recall.
(Great show)

Here's something interesting

Excerpt:
"My analysis of Dogon mythology reveals a religion about DNA and the creation of humans by a fish-like alien species known as the Nummo. The nature of this mythology is such that only someone in our own time, with knowledge of DNA could have understood its symbolism. "

Without sounding disrespectful I do not believe one word of this story, if this had indeed occured why haven't you rang the police or contacted the authorities? Why haven't you contacted the media, newspapers? Probably because they will tell you the same thing that many people on here will tell you -without evidence I simply do not believe you!

Now I'v only been a member of this site for a short space of time, however I'v been lurking on it for a good while now, and I have seen alot of your posts before Dan. I will admit you do not seem the type of person to invent such a fallacy. However, if anyone is actually going to believe a fish/humanoid creature entered your room at night, that it shocked you will electricity and burnt your skin, that it disappeared after you brutally attacked it, and that in the morning there was completely no trace of the nights previous events, then their absolutely barking mad,

Isn't it ironic how it happened to you??? A member of one of the worlds largest conspiracy boards. Seems like the ideal person to happen too!

I'll admit I can't think of a logical explanation why you would invent such a ridiculous story and risk smearing your name on a board where you have gained a certain amount of respect. However, stranger things have happened and some people enjoy that sort of thing.

Things like you described do NOT happen, any one with any amount of common sense should be able to see that! Maybe if it happened to me I would have a different view!

For a moment I'll imagine that it did actually happen as you described:

1) Why did you feel the inexplicable agression towards this creature as described? (I understand about someone being in your house at night with your family sleeping etc) but what gave you the impression this "creature" had hostile intentions? Surely, a mixture of curiosity & fear you wouldn't of reacted as you describe?

2) Do you believe for example that its possible that things can disappear?

I'm sorry mate but if such a wild story actually did happen I'm sure you wouldn't be talking about it on here!

Sorry my friend, but short of actually physical proof, then I do not believe you and never will.

Bottom line is: Fish men do NOT exit & things do NOT disappear out of thin air!

Just throwing this out...the injuries that he suffered are consistent with a run through the woods and a dash through some bramble bushes, then tripping over a log. Whoa!

I probably have the colours a bit wrong, and the scales wrong. What do you think? Similar?

Have you or mrs tanna seen this picture yet?
Similar or not?

Boleskine House (boll-ESS-kin) was the estate of Aleister Crowley from 1899 to 1913. It is located on the South-Eastern shore of Loch Ness in Scotland. It was built in the late 18th century by Archibald Fraser.

So then it started to occur to me that this could be some sort of occult deal rather than an alien entity.
Perhaps they were unhappy that someone interrupted their ritual, and decided to do some sort of bad mojo on you.
I believe Crowley was known for using Lovecraftian archetypes such as Dagon in his rituals.
Now,the Boleskine House being close by could indicate the presence of some Crowley followers who, like Crowley, are using the Lovecraftian archetypes.Possibly summoning them...
all the best to you and your family.
Doc

now THAT is an interesting idea! I think in my opinion it is more plausible than an alien from another planet. Because personally I think something with more technology and evolution than us would be better at hiding- how many times do you hear about greys getting stabbed? A 'magical'being summoned from a ritual could be more animalistic than intelligent- hence the mistakes. thanks for sharing that its intriguing.. i love crowley :-p his books are hard for me to read though- a lot of verboseness with just personal opinion or scant information then suddenly too much information that is hard to understand. thats probably just me though. i still like him.

This is why at every opertunity we should kick ET's behind.

Makin off with our wives and children...THATS NOT RIGHT!

I tell ya, if I were able to I would seriously do some damage to an alien just to take their ship for a joy ride round the US.

I agree with your question about the small part of the broken knife blade. It seems the cleaning dealt with alien substances, not the earthly ones, hence the knife handle being left behind. If the blade broke as opposed to the fastener breaking then that small piece should exist. If the fastener broke then if should be there instead. I would want to find either as it would shed more light on the whole situation.

There is an >86% probability that this creature is a Jinn, and not a sentient extra-terrestrial. The essence of a Jinn is "smoke", much like the essence of Man is "clay". This would explain the creature's disappearing act.

OP, First off, I don't believe a word of what your saying. You have clearly invented this story for whatever reason, which is of course, your prerogative.

However, I would like to comment on a couple of things if I may.

First, In your story, The creature didn't seem to display any aggression past reaching out a hand in your direction, which in my mind hardly represents just cause to be stabbing the thing to death.

Secondly, The fact that you named one of your knives and seem to take a great deal of pride in the fact that you 'used it' in this manner just seems a little wrong to me.

I think I have met people like you before. The unstoppable BSer, naive enough to think that everyone else is stupid enough to believe every word you say. But you are slightly different aren't you? You have a penchant for violence don't you? If you do really have a wife a child then I would urge you to get some help because a person with problems like that should not be raising a kid.

This is, of course, merely my opinion and maybe you did fight a fishman in your bedroom and stab him in the eye with your beloved japanese knife, but from where I'm sitting, it seems unlikely.
