I would imagine that if U.S. commanders thought the entire fleet was in any real danger of being sank, they would use a different strategy than, "Move all ships into sea of certain death!!"

You don't become generals and admirals by making novice mistakes like that.

Looks like the Iranians want to set a new record for the Guiness Book by having the world's shortest war - one minute.
