I'm actually sick of people making these conspiracies about "grays" and "Nibiru" amongst other things. Some things said may make alot of sense to people and maybe relate to things they have seen.

Did anyone actually think that we could be the only intelligent life in this universe. We have built and advanced in technology so fast, and have abilities such as "Empathy" and other psychic phenomena, and we are still understanding how to use and control nature. Ancient Civilizations were more in tune with the universe, and could see into the future and were good with astronomy. This could explain why we see ancient hyroglyphs with ships which look strangely like our planes, (not UFO's).

We created language and communications, meaning without these. We wouldn't have a sense of time, religion, the government e.c.t. We wouldn't be able to create "Aliens" and "UFO's" and conjure images and thoughts into our heads, or control people in a way which we and the government do today. (Can you see where i am getting at?)

Now i'm not saying there isn't life out there... Because there is more than likely going to be other animals and plant life we consider to be "Aliens".

What i am saying However is: STOP MAKING THESE STUPID CONSPIRACIES WHICH MAKE NO SENSE!

People see what they want to see, Lloyd.

If they want to see conspiracies, then they see conspiracies.

Geeez, i hope that were not. I would hope that there are others out there smarter then a planet full of sheep. (baaaa)

i am not so sure that there is inteligent life on earth, the bipedal humiods you refer to seem to be intent on the destruction of each other/planet .and looking for ice on mars.

GOD I hope not.

If we are the crown of creation the creator didn't set the bar very high.

And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space,
'Cause there's bugger all down here on Earth!

Mothy Piton - as a proof
.
(Monty Python in reality).
I agree with you, to me also a lot of those stories sound very suspicious and facts that can support at least some of these claims are very vague to completely non-existent.
But no one can rule out completely existence of other life forms, even intelligent in this vast universe of ours. So lets just wait and see. Hopes for life on Moon are over (yes, top secret alien bases. Come on!). Now we seek on Mars. Then there are Europa hopes. And then we will search outside the Solar system. I do not know though if finding them will be good or not. Or not finding them.

Maybe, but can you also back up your claims with some proof? How are you so certain we are all alone. Neither side can be proven, so I think you might want to calm down for a bit.

Of course not everything is a conspiracy, but did you forget where you're posting this? On a conspiracy website. *coughs*

So let me get this straight....

So some of the ideas make sense and could relate to actual human experience...

Did anyone actually think that we could be the only intelligent life in this universe. We have built and advanced in technology so fast,

Compared to what? ... other intelligent life? How can you claim that humans are either advanced, or fast. We still wear clothes from animals, live in stick and stone houses, and transport ourselves with contained fire.

and have abilities such as "Empathy" and other psychic phenomena

What do you even define as psychic? I have felt bad before, i see someone else feeling bad, and then I feel bad for them. It doesn't have to be transmitted over some cosmic source. What you call psychic phenomena now, will be science in the future. For us to claim supernatural or magical roots doesn't seem very advanced to me. The wise man knows there is much he doesn't.

, and we are still understanding how to use and control nature.

We're starting to figure some stuff out but nature is still winning 1,353,747,926 to 3. Biology and Chemistry are relatively new advances in science, with much of the knowledge coming in the last hundred years or so. I'd say we've just begun to even analyze nature.

Ancient Civilizations were more in tune with the universe, and could see into the future and were good with astronomy. This could explain why we see ancient hyroglyphs with ships which look strangely like our planes, (not UFO's).

No, it doesn't explain that. Not even close. Define how they were more in tune with the universe, what criteria did you use to determine that? I'm not even going to get into your statement about seeing into the future, that's ridiculous. Ancient hieroglyphics look strangely like our planes if you don't understand the language at all. It's like saying an "H" looks like a flux capacitor.

We created language and communications, meaning without these.

Without what?

We wouldn't have a sense of time, religion, the government e.c.t. We wouldn't be able to create "Aliens" and "UFO's" and conjure images and thoughts into our heads, or control people in a way which we and the government do today. (Can you see where i am getting at?)

No. So if we were stupider we wouldn't worry about aliens and ufo's. Do you also believe sticking your head in the sand makes things go away?

Now i'm not saying there isn't life out there... Because there is more than likely going to be other animals and plant life we consider to be "Aliens".

Here's the thing. As smart as you say we are, it would be incredibly stupid to look at the rest of the universe and not think there is other intelligent life in some form. You call the 'greys' a conspiracy, but the aliens would have to be something right? The hypothesis is that other life exists, the observations are that odd ships or grey creatures may fit the mold. As cheesy as it may sound to you, there is something there. Do you believe every sighting or experience of a UFO or extra-terrestrial over the entire course of human history is a lie or misidentification? Every single one?

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” ~ Albert Einstein

Eistien says it all with that. Sure some conspiracies are insane and can be debunked in an instant flat. Yet I love every last conspiracy I have ever heard I don't believe them all but to each their own. To me it shows people are still thinking for themselves rather than just thinking what everyone else is.

You may believe that there is nothing out there and we are the only thing there is and ever will be. To me that's boring and I sure hope there is some intelligent life out there because Humanity as a whole is still very far away from being as intelligent as we claim to be.

If you want to use knowledge instead of Imagination there are some many things wrong with this theory that we are all alone. As of June 2008, 304 exoplanets have been discovered and confirmed and new ones found just about every now it seems. The probability that that we are alone is about 1 in 100 billion, even more is you count other galaxies. The statistic that there is intelligent life out there besides us is probably allot better especially if you believe in evolution.

Now if that intelligence has ever visited us and if there is some mass conspiracy to cover it up, I still debate with myself on a day to day bases. To me the question isn't are we alone because I don't believe that. The question for is have they come here? If so why, what would a superior intelligence want with us? That last question is where conspiracy and Imagination fit it gives you all kinds of ideas and concepts to work out to come up with your own conclusions on what we might have to offer the universe.

The truth is out there and some day humanity may be lucky enough to find that truth let's hope.

Ok like most people on this website, people seem to jump to conclusions! that i am actually implying that what i say has to be the truth. This is an idea i am sharing with people, to see what response(s) i will get back.

Most UFO's and sightings are either fake, or government training exercises, and new technology being tested.

People are so desperate to believe that there is other intelligent life out there that they resort to believing every video, sighting, images e.c.t. I have met alot of people who swear to have seen UFO's and other phenomena, and i myself have seen odd and unexplainable things, but after reflecting on everything it makes no sense as the how or why other life would visit our planet or even if there is life at all.

Unexplained....... unidentifed...... were they aeriel phenomenon? Dare I presume it was an object? That's much of what this place is about, to try to quantify the evidence. Go ahead, put up a picture of something "unexplained", and watch a surge of people offer possible explanations. I see far more thinking skeptics here than sheep praising every photo. Y'know..... I really hate that term "sheep". What'd the mutton-packers ever do to us to get compared to nonthinking humans?

Anyway, welcome. When I become tired of rehashes of Nibiru or similar ideas, I just avoid those threads for a while. simple. You'll see, it's a guilty pleasure.

Cheers

I guess I don`t understand why you come here and ask that question, when you seem to have your mind made up that they don`t exist. You want us to show you proof, but wait, I don`t have any in my pockets that I can pull out to show you. It works both ways, all any of us can do is give our opinions on it, we take it or leave it. But, then again, sometimes the proof is in our line of sight, and even then, we don`t wish to see it.

The world is full of conspiracies.
We all conspire to get what we want, mostly innocently, but frequently not so.
I fail to see what is wrong with using the imagination to try to explain mysterious phenomena in our environment, when the answers are unavailable to us.
Everything we have achieved so far is the result of an imaginative thought, and narrow mindedness does nothing to further our evolution.
Of course some ideas are pure bunkum, but there is a place for them, as when all the daft ideas are exhausted, whatever remains is likely to be bordering on the truth.
So I say keep 'em coming. Even if they are ludicrous, they're still entertaining, and they help to keep the mind flexible.

I agree with most of what you say Parabol, but I triggered on the above phrase.

I think you can be very smart, and still think that intelligent life elsewhere in the universe MAY NOT EXIST.

NOTE: I said "may not". The likelihood of life is totally unknown, and there is substantial evidence to infer life may be very very rare, if it exists at all elsewhere in the universe.

Or, it may exist. I don't know. You need to have an open mind for both possibilities.

BTW -- this type of post was the very first discussion I ever entered into here on ATS about six months ago. What do you know -- it is still going strong, in one form or another.

I will never believe for even a second that we're all alone. Our tiny insignificant spec of a world is not the only life bearing planet out there. To think so is arrogant at best. If we're the best the universe has on display, then we may aswell switch the light off and all go home. Cos that's rubbish. And I don'tt hink that the universe is rubbish. It's a melting pot of life.

Oh Ryan Lloyd,

Enter you again with your teen angst driven argument. People here are entitled to their opinions and regardless of what you think they are not here to satisfy you. If you didn't notice, you happen to be on a conspiracy site.

I applaud your effort to debunk them because Nibiru is in fact ridiculous, but you are going about it all the wrong way my man. You have to fight ignorance with knowledge. Not red bold capitol letters. It only makes you look ridiculous.

To say that we are the only intelligent life in the universe, in my opinion seems like a waste of space, but at the moment we can't prove it otherwise.

I suggest, instead of making these little rants....which belong in the rant section btw, that you go do some research, bring up some facts and links, and add them to your argument and do away with the teenage text. It's all in the presentation my man.
