Why has NASA never gone back to the moon?

I think we've never gone back because we never went. I don't think the flag waving on the moon was because of cords inside of it, I think it was a cheesy movie effect that later bit NASA in the ass (obviously because there is no gravity on the moon).

Also you have to remember that a lot of money was going into that project. Money they may have been secretly using on something else. Or money they didn't want people to get up in arms about them spending with little success in the moon landing department.

The cold war was also happening and we were hell bent on getting there before the soviets.

Hmmm.. this is what bugs me about journalists and film makers when they imply things that are incorrect or suggest mistruths.. IE: the documentary called "something happened on the way to the moon" (not sure if it's the correct title) implied that humans can not go through the Van Allen unless it was at high velocity, so this is incorrect??

The radiation belt is the sticking point and it would floor any astronauts who had to go through it. It was the goal of the 1950's nukes in space at shuttle hight (300
miles up) and it was called "Project Argus". They tried to blow a hole in the radiation belt but failed and instead, they caused the Earth to be surrounded by a
man made "radioactive" belt. All this was not even known to the public until months later. What goes up, must come down, so how many people got cancer from it, we'll never know.( Sad movies always make me cry)

I used to believe that completely but lately I wonder if they made obvious forges of the footage and pictures because something was already there. I have even surprised myself with saying that as I was adamant it was staged now I am unsure.. Thats ATS for you

How could a photo from the egyptions be debunked? If we still to this day don't understand what half of there drawings mean? They drew things they saw right? So......alien ships kinda point the proof.

You should also ask yourself this - why is it Neil Armstrong only ever held ONE interview about his illustrious feat? ONE.

He's a disgrace & should be shot for treason against not only the American public but the whole world.

What a great video. The moon? Who would of thought they were that close to home. True-it could be a hoax, false-there is no chance there is aliens on the moon. Proof-layers upon layers of incidents concerning other wordly visitors visiting earth, so why not shacking up on the moon.

Z....was this indeed the FIRST press conference after quarantine? Collins grew his 'stache in the Airstream trailer? I forget how long they were in there, anyone know? Z??? Surely you do...


But, everyone surely has seen the pic with Nixon, on the Carrier, right?

Were they smiling from the relief of being alive? Maybe....

In the de-brief.....IF they saw what would have resulted in an Alien Disclosure, had they reported it.....then they had been warned in no uncertain terms to SAY NOTHING, right? I forget where you come down on the issue of aliens on the moon. Thought it was you, said there were. Then, you wrote Lunar 'landing' in quotes, so it implies that you think it was hoaxed. Oh yeah, there is a breathable atmosphere, so that is the big cover-up....or, is it the aliens....hard to keep up, maybe I'm misunderstanding, but is that a flip-flop?

(I'm sure someone could photo-shop a picture of a sandal on the Moon).

Oh, and a pretty cartoon-image of what the sky would look from Earth if all the atmosphere were stripped away....gee, you can look directly at the Sun??? Wow!! But wait!!! You said there is an atmosphere on the Moon, then get critical because the Astronauts said they didn't see stars (of course the bright sunlight, and the gold visors and the ability of the human eye to adapt to bright light had nothing to do with it either).

Gee, I saw a great de-bunk of the Apollo Lunar studio idea....forget where. Funny, they did it at night, in a desert, with one giant spotlight to represent the Sun.....couldn't photgraph stars there either....hmmmmmm

But anyway, it involves how astronomers were thought to be crazy when claiming to have seen explosions on the moon's surface. But it turns out that explosions on the moon's surface are not so uncommon and, so far, 100 of these meteorite impacts have been documented by NASA. Some of these could, in theory, have been small yield nuclear tests and noone would have ever known the difference..

If the moon is irradiated from nuclear testing, that is one reason why NASA wouldn't readily want to go back. But the entire idea behind the nuking the moon was to be an example to the soviet union and other countries at how advanced we were and to otherwise justify it through direct scientific observation. Now, if back then someone had nuked the moon, it would have been a headline in the newspapers because would have been an example of technological prowess and the country who did it would have wanted the world to know.. But that's not entirely true either. The government may have found a justification for going forward with such a moon-nuking project while keeping it completely under wraps. There are alot of possibilities that come to mind.. Testing of Interspacial ballistic missiles, aliens on the moon.

And if we were truly never put men on the moon to begin with, nuking the moon would be of great scientific importance for many reasons.

It could well be bizarrely true. Iv heard from abductees that the moon and mars have underground tunnels where the Aliens live. The fact is we dont know for certain where they live. Some say on earth and/or in another dimension. That I suppose is one of the greatest parts of ufology is the mystery. I wonder if we may feel a little empty if we knew everything about them and the mystery gone
