This is an inconsistancy that really jumped out at me and kind of hurst the credibility of the OP. Here are two quotes from UFOREALITY, if you go throught the whole thread you will see them:

"I've had the fragment analyzed at Applied Technical Servies Incorporated in Marietta Georgia. They said they can't detect unknown elements. They did detect nothing but silicon."

Then later he says:

"Georgia Tech is a great school. I called and asked them if they would analyz it and they said no... so I took it to Applied Technical Services Incorporated and all this oriental women did was put it under an electron microscope and print me out a poopy graph with a spike of SI.

She said my piece was too small for them to be able to tell me percentages of elements/material in it. So I wasted $250, but at least I tried."

So what is it? Could they not detect "unknown elements" or was your peice to small to be analyzed?

No, it's because he said he didn't have $300 for a digital camera, but $250 down the drain he says, oh, at least I tried.

Keep the contradictions coming. Or label hoax, or close thread.

Hey, just had to add that my phone just rang from a restricted # and made weird sounds and a helicopter flew over head. I'm going to call Miramar Air Station tomorrow and schedule a meeting to see what it's all about. He'll, I"m a telemarketer, i've got pull.

keep tuned in. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I offered to pay for fed-ex both ways and to photograph the fragment in my studio, using a softbox, calibrated lighting and provide the RAW images with exif in order to allow everyone to analyze the reflective and spectrum properties of the sliver. I could have sworn there were higher resolution photos posted elsewhere, though.

If this meeting did indeed take place (and I honestly have no opinion one way or the other, Eric) I can think of one thing that's very interesting, IMO.

For the good Dr and his associates to take a meeting with a part time ufologist / grocery worker based on "I think I have a piece of a UFO from a crash which took place "here" on such and such "date" might indicate there is something to the crash?

It might mean nothing, it might be that a test craft crashed or an actual UFO crashed - those would be reasons enough to generate such a meeting, perhaps.

Or, the Dr had a laugh at your expense and invited an audience.

These type of "meetings" and interest on the part of Lockeed and other research type manufacturers is not unknown. We do have copies of memos and paperwork which mentions engineers from Lockeed, Douglas and others meeting with UFO witnesses to "discuss the inventions the aliens put in their heads". If you believe, (and I do) these past meetings are strong indications the parties involved knew UFOs to be real and capable of advancing those companies' technologies greatly. Hell, one of the memos I describe is part of a chain of paperwork carrying the signature of one Stanton Freedman.....

edit to add - Eric, if you can provide me proof of the meeting (fwd emails from yourself and Butler w/ the meeting discussed) - and I promise to keep them confidential, never repost them and so on - not only will I vouche for you and end the beatings - I'll make you the same deal I offered Ricky. I'll provide you a very nice Canon 8 MP camera, brand new and just on the market w/ DigicIII firmware, at my cost. (About 120 bucks). You can't be a ufologist and perform investigations without a camera, or several.

Yes however, with the possibility of it being space and or crash debris they would have protocols, it sounds as if he just walked in with the alleged debris.

ok - a few of my observations :
on voice recorders

ok - you declined to even take a recording device too the meeting because you thought that you might get searched - but took your precious " ufo fragment " seemingly with no regard to the posibility that it might be taken from you by force or guile

err .......ok

you have obviously never vistied a secure environment before have you ?

people take all sorts of items with them to meetings - some of which are prohibited in certain areas - and all they do is give you a plastic tray - and put all prohibited items in it - and when you leave - you get them back

if you really wanted a recording of the event - you should have taken the recorder

and assuming you got it into the meeting room

simply take it out - place it on the table in front of you and state :

gentlemen , with your permission - i intent toi record this meeting for my personal archive , and so that i can prepare acurate minuites and ensure that any quotes are accurate and in context - do i have your consent

if they say yes - press record - if they say no - they will probally get security to remove it from the room

pretty simple

on security clearences

you [ and others ] need to do some research on how clearences work in the real world

having a clearence does not mean that you can just decide to read any document you wish that has that , or lower clearence

on material analysis

what you call a ` poopy graph ` with " just " a silicon spike sounds to me to be a pretty accurate analysis - you just sound pissed because it didnt tell you what you wanted to hear - not very objective that .

if there was ANYTHING else there it would create a second or multiple spikes

it it was an unknown element - then the spike position and height would not correspond to that of ank known material

but the spike would be there

on photographs

fook sake - do you not posesss a ruller ???????????

or the ability to get this unique item photographed properly by someone who knows what they are doing ??

for crying out loud - find a photographer who specilises in macro photography - and has the lenses and lighting equipment to do the job

is an example of the art

now if your fragment had pics of this quality - we might be able to make a worth while examination of the image

thats all for now

So here it is in a nutshell.

You have devoted your entire life and future career to UFO study and research, yet you do not own a camera and for whatever reason, do not see the benefit of owning a tape recorder OR a digital image scanner (29.99 at Best Buy) ?

Strike one.

Your refusal to post new photographs or specific details and your overall general lack of interest in documenting or proving your story in any way.

Strike two.

If you actually DID meet with anyone from DoD or the CIA, I sure would have loved to have been a fly on the wall in that room.

Some random guy (who works for Kroger) shows up toting a rock, a doctored photograph of a lizard-man and a stack of bogus classified documents, and then proceeds to rattle on for an hour about UFO's and cover ups and the like. Things like this typically just don't happen in the real world.

If there is one shred of truth to what you have said here I give you massive amounts of credit for having a huge set of brass cajones for risking your life like that (because that is exactly what it would be), but my gut tells me this is all just a big waste of time.

Sorry to be so critical, but you have failed to document your story in any way, offer no proof of any kind and have managed to change certain key componants to your story in mid thread in order to explain inconsistencies.

All due respect, but you may want to look into another field of interest as a career, Ufology is a cut throat and and extremely demanding business, and microscopic unwavering attention to detail is a must (doesn't seem to be your strong suit).

Just my $0.02 and nothing more

I am simply shocked and appalled over the amount of people that flock to such an amateur hoax. The thing that troubles me with most of the posters who actually believe in him, is the apparent LACK of reality. They are also the same kind of people who can justify that we lived and walked with Dinosaurs or that Adam and Eve was real and the world really just started 2008 years ago.

It's absolutely insane.

It's a common phenomenon to see people loose all sense of reality and submerge in a fantasy. It's a sickness, something that needs to be taken very seriously. When people murder in the name of GOD (not talking about wars but actual person to person murder), when they hear voices saying they should murder such and such person, we pretty soon establish that they are schizophrenic.

But when we say that God spoke to me and he made me understand that the ways of Christ was the right path for me... well we almost praise that person and move on without every thinking about that little thing he just announced... God spoke to me?

Same applies for the majority of such posts here, I see people gather up and defend something that's completely beyond reality and their defense is always that WE are in denial and WE are the ones who cannot see the truth... "light".

Shocking really...

But fortunately in this particular thread... there are at least quite a few people here who's filters are intact and can see a hoax when it is one.

To you... Good job and good luck in future debunking !!

I'm pulling the plug on this thread,

It's usually not in my nature to flame but the OP won't answer a single question here? (He has been ignoring everyone's questions and I have seen him come on and offline about 6 times now so I'm sure he read them because he would post on the thread but ignore the questions entirely.

Maybe someone should give Dr. Butler a ring and find out the truth.

This thread has become pointless IMO, so he met with the LittleWigs, big deal.

First it was the bigwigs then turned into the littlewigs!

The story has changed a few times now, and the very worst part about it is nothing has been shared about what took place in the meeting whatsoever. I mean seriously what was the purpose of posting that he had a meeting in the first place?

OK We Believe he met with some guys but please someone help me understand what was the purpose of this thread if the OP can't share with us what took place in the meeting and share with us the same information that he supposedly shared with Dr. Gomer and the Simpsons? The OP even went as far as posting that he had top secret feedback of some kind but prefers not to share with us? Why would anyone say that in the first place and especially if they can't share it?

It appears the OP hasn't shared with us a single thing other than.

"I felt like I was schooling these guys and looked at em like I know my stuff about UFO's don't mess with me" lol

Please OP I'm begging you provide us with something in this thread other than I'm a big time Ufologist and met with the BigWigs.

Anything else?

I've concluded, it's possible the OP is not a real Ufologist, merely because he has provided us with NOTHING.

Please prove us all wrong OP,

In the meantime:

I'm in a hurry now so better download my top secret documents and reptillian pictures because I have a big meeting with the Real Big Wigs tomorrow. Who you may ask? The Aliens Themselves, I am going to prove to them that they exist.

I will keep you posted on how it goes but if anyone tries to verify the information I share I swear on the head of Saddam I will never come back to ATS again and talk about it on every radio show for the rest of my life. (Hell will be unleashed on ATS.)

p.s. I just picked up a nice disposable camera for $5.95 at Walmart but still can't afford the tape recorder at Radio Shack but am ready for those Bigwig Aliens bring em on!

Good Day!

Nice generalization of everyone, and I guess in saying that, it makes you feel smart or something. Not everyone has a debunker mindset, and assumes everyone is a lier. I believe the sickness lyes within those who choose to ridicule anything that seems usual, or out of the ordinary. Funny thing is this story doesn't have anything spectacular about it.. So a couple ranks wanted to see the artifact or whatever it was..Is that so insanely unbelievable? Is it so unbelievable that Boyd Bushman (senior scientist of Lockheed Martin) takes Bob Lazar's video about how the alien vehicle works, seriously? Well not only did he watch it, he recommends it to others.

Funny if I came out with what my grandpa saw, people would laugh and ridicule..He went his whole life without telling anyone except 2 family members because of the ridicule he would've faced. I wonder how many others haven't come forth to avoid this ignorance and degradation. I do applaud those who have..

Dear "Believer",

You seemed to be offended to easily which means you've thought of your self being those who simply believe in anything and everything in a heartbeat. See, you missed the point completely and then to make matters worse, you say I generalize.

I don't generalize, I praise those who's filters are intact and of those I see enough of here. But then a vast majority also jumps on anything and everything with a little bit of technicolor plastered on it.

If you knew ANYTHING about protocol and how the military deals with certain cases, you'd understand just how ridicules this story sounds. But since you don't and you can't presumably even imagine how things really work in the military, I'm just going leave you be.

Whatever makes you happy... right?

I'm not saying I wouldn't believe an authentic experience, but for someone to gain credibility you'd have to meet certain standards. This story has nothing going for it, except those who WANT TO BELIEVE.

Good luck to you...

hi,

i find your story to be sincere. i don't know much about ufo's, though i am interested.

just a little perspective maybe...

i have to admit, it seems to me if any "secret" papers were presented to me (if i were a government empoyee operating in black ops) i wouldnt ask to see the papers either.

1) i probably know all about them

and

2) i am not going to give you any kind of confirmation that you may be on to something.

also, i think it is fairly obvious the reason they didnt say much. because the meeting was not held in a secure way on secure grounds. (even if you just talk to a fbi agent "officialy" everything is recorded and controlled) in other words, if the meeting had been held on secure grounds and you had been patted down because they thought you might want to try recording them and they stopped you from doing that, and then they spoke to you in a way of "questioning" or actually gave you the time of day, or maybe ripped up the papers and taken the fragment? then what would you be thinking now?

what would the title of this thread be then?

see what im sayin? the fact that it was so mundane i think may mean something...or you could just have nothing there..

i think it would have been more odd if you met within the base and then they had not patted you down or not said much...they didnt because know you are a "nobody"...no offence...you seem to be quite a nice fellow

by the way..well done

Freeze I am certain most would like to give the bloke the benefit of the doubt.
Unfortunately, his tale is so wrought by obvious contradiction and sheer fantasy to be believable.
Then there is the masked threat response that is always a warm hearth on a dark cold night.

You know what Tom and Ray Mariachi say on 'car talk'.
That story is bo-o-o-o-o-gus.

Actually I never said I believed any of this, as I don't see much evidence of anything either way..I guess you can "label" me undecided. I'm certainly not gonna attack the guy for lack of evidence..

You say this is a "amateur hoax", ..have anything solid that proves that?

Your "filter" might sift out the hoaxes, but I assure you, it will sift out the truth as well.

I'll state right here, that I believe the contents of what the poster "sleeper" has wrote within his large thread. Maybe to some that might label me as crazy..Do I care? no..Why do I bring that thread up? You can see the debunkers in their finest hour...Yea, I really want to read all those personal attacks rather than the actual substance he has brought to us.

Very well could be all bs, and so could everything we see around us.
All I'm saying is there are civilized ways to go about it. I say respect a person until they give you a reason not you, vs disrespect a person till they can give you proof.

Look at how the public took in Hutchison's work, lifting those lead spheres, batteries made of rocks which last forever and so on. First responses I read said it was complete bs and wasn't possible scientifically. He didn't have the data to back his claims up, but that didn't stop people from taking a chance and investigating it. The people who are now trying to duplicate his effects are seeing the reality, those who choose not to look are still locked in the box.. Thats what I admire about the black programs within the military, no bias, no judgment, they will at least investigate it, and if it doesn't work, at least they know it. Nothing is impossible for them, and their hardware which they create will reflect that. Their minds aren't limited by what they are told, read, or even experience, there is no limit. Oh well I guess I am just rambling on about fantasy.

Hi Freezer,

I believe in just about everything Sleeper posted as well, in fact I have a link to his new book that just came out, just not sure if I'm allowed to add a link here or not?
It's a Very Good Read!

Funny you brought that thread up I agree with you, there were extremely large amounts of flamers in Sleepers threads. Well the difference here is nothing was really said or claimed other than the OP met with some bigwigs and had a few pictures. (No big deal) So as his story is of course believable there is nothing really of great importance to be shared or talked about here IMO.

Unless of course the OP plans to take better pictures of his space rocks and get a nice copy of his reptillian picture along with share the info he talked about in his lecture? That would be something of value but so far there has been nothing. JMHO!

Kindest Regards!

p.s. I'm meeting with the Aliens tomorrow but I can't talk about it!

I agree. His presentation of his story could be more descriptive and provide more substance. Maybe people can help him out with that, and give him some advice. I guess I get emotional about this subject and am tired of the doubt. I've worn down family members on this subject, going from complete disbelief to grudgingly possible..
I've noticed in a lot of people there is just something within them that tells me they don't want to believe it even if its true. Maybe thats for the best idk.

I brought the MJ-12 documents to ask them what they thought of them. The one guy who made that remark to me (I'm guessing he was in his 60's) didn't even want to look at them. Nothing else was said about them. You're making a bigger deal out of that then you should be.

I'm sure they wanted to meet with me because they were simply interested to examine my fragment in person. What else can I say folks?

There was no documentation involved. I didn't have to sign anything to do this. Like I said, they didn't say much at all during the entire hour. I don't know if they knew some, all, or nothing about what I was telling them because I didn't get much reaction out of them. I'm sure they're trained in that regard.

I have things to do today but I will check in as often as I can and answer as many questions as I can.

The only thing that was said that I want to keep private has nothing to do with me personally, but it's just something I want to keep private. I'm sorry...

How lame is this tactic getting people ? ... this is called Fishing dude - leave the bait and wait for the bite. If you didnt want to mention it, why did you mention that you didnt want to mention it in the first place ?
This sort of ploy is so old and is happening more and more lately, I cant believe people are still falling for this same old guano.

This is exactly what they do in soap operas and things like Prison Break - you always leave a question unanswered - these days everyone has itchy ears and it's almost guaranteed they will come back for more and more. Might as well get on my back and dangle a carrot over my head!.
