Much of what she said has come to pass, in some ways. Our definition of tolerance, for example, has changed. We have gone from defining that term as "I have to barely put up with something, but I don't have to like it" to "I must accept everyone as my equal, even if they live the most squalid life imaginable; in other words, there is no such thing as an unacceptable belief system or set of actions, except those associated with fundamentalist religions."

I believe buddhism will be the basic way of life for the spiritual being of the new age. There will be no prophets, only teachers, and that alone rids the world of a lot of evil.

As I said before, read up on The Age of Aquarius and how important spirituality will be in the lives of humans.
Oh and prositution isnt such a bad thing. Research/studies in Amsterdam and much of The Dutch Republic shows that it has a direct connection in lowering the Crime rate for incidents of Rape.
Also, prostitutes make a hell of a lot of money when it is treated as a controlled occupation. Its also the worlds oldest occupation. Who are you to judge? Would you rather the economy make some extra money, or have some horny thug rape your children? you decide.

Buddhism in the West is growing out of old traditions, but it should not simply consume those traditions according to modern agendas and discard them as worthless husks.
