Apparently it is written in some font, wich someone translated as "When will it start?"

After the roswel crash... didnt Major Jesse Marcel say that the markings he saw on the crashed craft looked kinda like shapes and glyphs etc......


just putting the idea out there ... !

Current speculation about 8/8/08:

- That's when the LHC fires up, apparently
- It's a 'even' number, same three digits
- The text color in the image is RGB=(8,8,8)

DISADVANTAGES:
- Can't confirm!
- If that is the date, we might have to wait a week-and-a-half to play more!
- www.888.com is just a normal looking casino site

Symbol/letter replacement clue?

Looking at the previous page in this thread I think it has something to do with photoshop and toothpaste.

Are we supposed to U2U to the mods or admins when we feel we have the right answer, or do they just read from the thread and take it from there?

Because we do alot of "what if it`s" and "that could be it"`s.

Just putting it out there, but i have noticed a new banner at the top of the main page(may be random), that seems to be like a movietrailer/teaser.

Might it have something to do with the release of that movie?

Yeah, I second the Wiki thing. Keep the speculation in the threads, but AFTER we know for sure somehting was a clue, post it in a WIKI article. It'll keep the real clues from being lost in the brainstorming and will help others be able to come in and shine fresh light o nthe clues without drowning in all of the brainstorming trying to find them.

I didn't realise it was an actual font. Sometimes things are easier than they seem lol. I remember spending ages on another code using the same technique, only to find there was a basic cypher on the internet.


edit: I mean on the second one, I guessed the "WILL", then "IT". I thought if it was a font it would be scrambled anyway.

Yeah. Everything happened at "whereistheconspiracy.com" site.
It just changed screenshot when we progressed.

Hmmmm..... a new game eh. Wish I could participate. These things will really make you pull your hair out. They'll also test your mental capacity.

There's different time zones, so surely it's not a date or time or anything because we'd all be confused. I'm racking my brain. Any more ideas? Where did this 08/08/08 come from?

I among others have speculated in 8.8.8. Because it is the "nearest" date of significance. Or not

The olympics is then. The LHC is turned on. But as I previously mentioned, it might as well be another date, with another thing connected to it.

Still cracking...

In the meantime, this 08/08/08 site shows a quick clip (and nothing else) that has some similarities to the "Revolution" game last fall - it even sings it as such. And we were directed to such a site then too - not much more than a brief music video about a revolution.

Just a tongue-in-cheek fictitious story - but the coinkidink to our current enigma is humorous if nothing else - especially since the story says Ms Rice believes our doom will be met by people-eating aliens...

I checked out the video you linked to. Definitely interesting. The page source info says that it was created by Dreamshock Design Motion Graphics Studio. A quick google search took me their website. Right on the home page is a link to this video.

The project overview states that they cannot disclose any further information. Seems worth looking at more closely...
