What do you after adopting me?

Once you're adopted, I'll treat you like big sisters have treated little brothers for millenia. I will pick on you, tease you, and ignore you when you're annoying

On the up side, I will view making you miserable as my exclusive prerogative, and staunchly defend you against anyone trying to usurp that right.

And how can you bury me when I am in the free fall of space.

And here I thought you were all excited about landing on Titan

Are you into more than chit-chat? Always wondered what lies behind the thin veil of pleasantries we call "normal life"? Wish to uncover the depths of deception underlying the outer appearance? Wish to tread were not many have tread before? Support our Debate

But we must get there first, and you cannot drive a car there. And I am still online.

I fear the excitement of the day may have caused me to rush that reply in my debate, but oh well.

I couldn't help myself.

I have a bad habit of only using 2-3 hours for replies during my debates. It's worked to my advantage numerous times, but almost as many times it has backfired.

Awww cute pic. Not really you though, is it? ( I hope not since you're about to be a Dad).

I am in chat, and also trying to stir up a spot of trouble ...

No, not me.

Although I do look much too young to have 2 children.

Apparently not as much as the member three posts up from you on that thread, though.

NYK, ah quick to the response! Great, I will maybe have a reply up later today, if time allows.

No need to hurry I wouldn't think.

Even if you do get it up, odds are I'll be on my way to check into the hospital before I could get another one back up in reply.

Feel free to take your time with this next one, as I'll be on away for a bit starting tomorrow afternoon.

I shouldn't be the only one who gets extended time here.

why why why why why couldn't I be a hyperorganized Fighter? :bnghd:

I spend virtually all my time collecting random bits of information that might turn out to be useful and then leave myself scrambling to fit them together in some sort of coherent argument

AshleyD, do you give lessons in organization by any chance?

I am the same way. I spend a lot of time searching for information and half of the time I don't even use the material that I spent so much time gathering...
...and most of the time I am constructing an argument on the fly. I usually spend the last hour of my composition re-positioning paragraphs...

I have long contended that others organizational skills far outweigh my own.

I've always been the opposite myself.

I quickly outline my discussion and piece together my whole reply, then I go back and search for hard facts and supporting evidence to mix in.

Generally it works out for me, although sometimes it does cost me to miss some valuable chances to attack.

What really drives me nuts is that I'm too flaky to decide on one angle and go with it. And sometimes I'll end up with several different directions that I could take the argument, except that they effectively rebut each other
