Annoying sometimes, really. Having spent decades looking at film, video, etc., with an eye to visual imperfections and technical seams, it's often hard for me not to notice them. For example, the 'Digital Projectors' they're using at some movies, now. Really annoying - I keep noticing the individual pixels and the clipped visible color gamut compared to film. And I can't watch cable TV any more - the MPEG macroblock artifacts are way too distracting - I turn it off in frustration after a few minutes. Of course, content also makes me do that, too.

And sometimes the world looks Photoshopped.

Come on, FCP - what special and strange talents do our Fighters have? I bet Memoryshock can carry a dozen shot glasses in a single hand. Or S-dog can post sarcastically on three threads simultaneously, while watching a hockey match. And Skyfloating can always think of a longer word, no matter what.

TWISI: Another skill - I can cross my eyes and solve those "find the difference between these two photo" puzzles by looking at a single composite image. And I can crack my knuckles all day, though I rarely do anymore because I'm getting too old to really enjoy it.

And I 'smell' electrical equipment to get an idea of its age, how much it's been used, and manufacturing quality. It works -- again, try it, the chemical outgassing and 'ozone'-like smell is quite distinct -- I'm kind of weird that way, I guess.
