I remember why I put you on it! LOLLLLLLLLL! Then I took you off last week (you didn't notice?) because I read something you said that struck me as brilliant. I might have to reconsider due to the bonehead comment!

Mehhhhhhh, I don't hold grudges for long. I have put a few people on my foe list, and then have taken them off later.

Depends what sort of mood I am in I suppose!

Yeah me too, that's why I end up with no one on my foe list.

I wonder if anyone added someone as a friend, but later took him off because they read something that was not so good by this person lol.

My Respected Foes
These are my worthy adversaries who keep me on my toes.

i always thought being a Foe was a good thing
it only shows to others that they respect you and you keep them on their toes.

if it said these are my foes in ATS whom i dispise then it would be diffrent

I think the key is to think of it as a 'resepected foe' with the emphasis on resepcted.

There are plenty of people in real life i consider thus, and it really does keep you on your toes.

To be honest, I find it difficult to imaginge disliking someone in an online capacity as you are only seeing PART of the person. Now I know that people keep aspects of themselves hidden in real life too - it's natural and often sensible (unfortunately some of my female colleagues found out about my military fetish and I'm still paying for that with jibes from them), but this cageyness is exaggerated online and some people do just like to cause drama. Good luck to 'em, I say - if it keeps 'em from doing it in the boozer.

Peace,

MSP

Haha you guys are funny!

Honestly though I think people can be rude on ANY forum...it's just the nature of the internet.

I was a moderator for a dog website for over a year and you would not believe some of the stuff that goes on there; people can be hateful and sooo rude to other members....and it's a freakin rat terrier forum!!

I think he's "foe'd" damn near everyone, don't take it personally. Btw, I'll put my foes list against anyones(members that had foe'd me). I guess I'm a foey type of guy.

Eh, for some reason your on my Foe list. I don't know why, I don't ever remember disagreeing with you on anything particular.

I think it just comes down to....

I saw your name, and I thought.... FOE. Your truly just a Foey kinda guy, seeing as I foed you as one of the first Foes ever for no good reason!

(and no, I can't bring my self to remove you from my Foe list)

I have not even used the friend foe thing since the first week it came out lol. Kinda like I haven't looked at a profile since the first week it came out.

I'll get back to serious discussion eventually

Hey it takes a lot to make me angry, that is why I find amusing when somebody gets so into what I post that it targets me intentionally.

I makes me feel important, or at least what I have to say.

I have not a single foe on my list, but I know that I am in quite a few lists around.

Ha ha yeah I know the feeling all too well myself Marg, but as for the foe thing, I don't think anyone here has a profile quite like "wolfowar" .

He must be on everyones foe list lol.

There are people here from all walks of life and anytime that happens to me i picture them in a single trailer living with ma and pa and their sis who they fantasize about.
Beer cans and trash all over the place, oh and hubcaps for sale outside their door, about 400 lbs, hairy and no life at all.

I always feel good afterwards.

Tragic.

I'm not hairy.
I don't know why you would say that.
And my weight is from GLANDS.
Who have you been talking to...

yeah, I just eat lots of glands
also, winter vegetables...I got this three-tuber salad, turnips yams and parsnips...it hardly ever goes bad...or only very slowly
which is good cause there ain't no room in my trailer for a refrigerator
because of being fat and all
and to be truthful I guess I am kind of hairy too
I just didn't like to admit it, they startled me

The Meanies Of Life

People tend to be mean because they're angry, afraid, confused, sick or in some sort of pain.

thing is, im in great deals of pain every day, and typically im pretty angry about it, but thats between me and god or me and the universe or me and myself...i try real hard to not take it out on anyone else much less people online. i dont always succede but when i fail i tend to apologize for my actions (personal responsibility and all)

so yeah, being in pain sucks but its not an excuse to be a tool.

im sure you werent saying it IS an excuse majic (at least thats how i read it) but even if its a "reason" for some, its still a bad one.

i guess i just think that if i can control myself most of the time, others should be able to as well. im no better than anyone else.

lmao! I have 2 foes... one being (suprise!) yahn. He added me as a foe cause I suggested that the entire christian religion has been constructed by their own 'satan'... ironically, the other foe is a certain new occultist member that I argued with a bit about him wanting the NWO to happen... disliked by both sides of the spectrum! That kinda makes me happy, lol... exactly what I stand for.

I gotta say, though... the RUDEST, MOST IRRATIONAL members still haven't added me as a foe (I figured dave would've added me by now... that guy is pretty wound up most of the time, and I know I have had a good run-in with him...)

Hehehe "Convert the Enemy" I like that one..doesn't happen often though

My signature says it all..

When you have reduced them to screaming meanies... you get to put another notch on your sword sheath...

I'm not going to provide an explanation, i'm just going to sit here in my own self-absorbed ego in the assurance that i know why this is happening.

Oh... sorry, that was rather rude of me wasn't it?

If someone has placed me on thier 'FOE's" list then its mission acomplished in many ways. I have challanged thier assertions, beliefs and values to the point of distraction.

The "foes" that I have the utmost respect for are the ones that take it as a challange and up thier game and come back for more

Well, I logged on this morning, to find that I also was Foe'd...by the same person...

*trying to remember ever seeing his name before? And drawing a blank.*

Perhaps my opinion on something, struck a nerve.

I've encountered plenty of rude, mean, frustrated and ideologically challenged people here on ATS! Bless their hearts!!

Bring it!! I can take it as well as dish it out!

And as I like to say on these types of threads....

"If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch"

I've seen quite a few of your posts, and personally i've never seen one where you try to spread hatered, you always seem quite easy going to me.

You shouldn't even worry about a person like that because it seems as though they may be someone that you can't reason with.

I've seen some rude people on here and some that seem to do nothing but bicker, but you find that all over. There are way too many intelligent, well mannered people on here to let the few rude ones make me think badly about the site.

I'd say just let it roll off your back and don't give it a second thought.

I think some people may have lots of trauma in their lives, then they come here and bicker with the first one whose avatar they dont like

You just have to take it with a grain of salt , thats all.

I've been jumped and attacked here before
it kind of hurt my feelings for about 10 seconds and then i just let it go , maybe i change my avatar or something.

" So and so just made you their FOE." Who cares???!!!! Am i supposed to go laydown and cry?

Pixels can be mean. yup.

I have two foes, my first was yahn. I have never read one of his posts. I even went through the threads I had been on and yahn was no where to be found. I guess given the company I have here I should feel flattered.
