Free Speech is such a key right. It is the right that all other rights flow from. It is also the right that fanatic try to limit when they want to take over a people.

I will never understand those who condone terror because of perceived "insults".

YEP, and free speech is a good place to draw the line in the sand and say, no further. I have been a liberal for a long time, never voted republican, live in a very liberal area where all my representatives are liberals, but it is becoming clear that the people who claim to be liberals are the biggest bunch of control freaks on the planet.

Making a mistake has become a crime, in a society that has created so many complicated rules it is ridiculous. Now they want to start punishing people for making statements that are not politically correct.

Apparently, now, anything you say may not simply be used against you, it might in fact, in and of itself, be a crime.
