You might be interested to know the following:

The ancients accurately described what modern egyptologists would later find at the serapeum of saqqara...except one thing: The corpses of the "apis-bulls". These were mysteriously "missing" from the overall finds.
of course they are.... I wouldn't expect anything less. Just to wonder what else is missing that might help us connect the dots.

Can you imagine how embarrassed you would be to realize what it was, and how you hadn't appreciated it. Makes you wonder what else is under peoples beds...The knot is part of a theme too. The Egyptians wore a knotted "thing" the Minoans have a knotted "thing" in thier paintings. Looks to be some kind of article of clothing, that represents something. Dunno what that means. Connecting two things together like marriage? Alchemy, sex, opposites.

The Sacral Knot. A large knot appears on the neck of some women in Minoan art. Perhaps this is a marriage knot. In this case the knot is interpreted as the sign a priestess is married to a god. The priestess is also decked in an oufit not so much to cover modesty as for its spiritual power. Wearing a garment for spiritual power is not unlike buying a stylish garment to promote oneself socially.

What do you think it all means KTK? The ability to follow Venus struck me as exceptional, but what do you think the Emu means?

Well Im not going to debate a researcher from the Commonwealth Science and Industial Research Organisation. I Imagine you guys have a similar government sponsored organisations just more compartmentised.

Now the second link shows a picture of the Milky way in the sky and and emu carving in the gound(its massive and the scale dosnt do it justice). Have a close look at the similarities, look more at the dust outline and what does it remind you of.

Venus, what is it about venus, perhaps those with more estoric knowlede could chime in here. Now Im thinking cranes and pictures of cranes could be in line with the aboriginal emu which represents the milky way. Are there cranes or similar birds within native American culture? Seems animals can represent star systems within art, something to take note of.

I know diddly about stars so this has been an eye opener for me, I had no idea what I call the saucepan was the same Orion system deranged hippies crap on about aliens eating your brain juice inhabiting.

Aboriginals had lunar calanders too, check the hardcore stuff linkage

I dont know if you saw the brief mutterings of universal symbolism on this thread, but stephensville reminds me of this theme. The question is was it originating from a devine source or a man made one?

But yeah symbolism, I am finding lots of relationships. Our spiral friend crops up everywhere. Like the huge ones near pine gap. (why is it called PINE gap, there are no pines for miles)So does the circle with the dot in the middle. The spiral represents the serpent depending on how it is drawn it is either entering and exiting the earth in Indigenous beliefs. Its also drawn and explained this way in ancient Eastern religions but they bring it to the body and not the earth.

Did ancient hebrew text come from hand signals? I have come across this statement but dodgy source. Can anyone help with that one?

A circle with a dot in the middle is the Astrological symbol of the sun.

I found the Native American story of The Yellowstone Valley and the Great Flood complete with buffalo and a rainbow. A site that has many others including The Frog and the Crane. I am still reading some of them here. There is Japanese Origami of cranes, but it is not that old, so they say. (since paper)

The emu looks just like the Milky Way, and I was looking at other rock carvings and the other emus don't look like the one carved beneath it. The photographer had to stitch a bunch of pictures together to get them both in that awsome pic.

DINOSAURS IN THE BIBLEThere are a number of places where it appears that dinosaurs or other similar creatures are mentioned in the scriptures. Remember that the Bible was translated into English long before the word "dinosaur" was coined. However, the word "dragon" appears 21 times in the Old Testament alone. "You shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shall you trample under feet" (Psalm 91:13). From the context it is clearly speaking about a real creature that it would be impressive and intimidating to step on! Jeremiah 51:34 tells, "he has swallowed me up like a dragon..." which brings to mind the way many carnivorous reptiles swallow their prey whole. Both dragons of the sea (Psalm 74:13) and field (Isaiah 43:20) are mentioned. Indeed, Genesis 1:21 can best be translated: "And God created great sea monsters..." One such sea monster became sufficiently well-known to the ancients to be given the special name "Rahab" (Isaiah 51:9). The prophet Ezekiel likens Pharaoh to a sea monster that invaded the Nile river and stirred up the mud (32:2). The Hebrew word, "Tannin," is from the root meaning "to extend." The language conjures up an image of a long-necked plesiosaur-like creature paddling up the river and stirring up mud from the Nile delta with its flippers. Just such a creature is depicted by the ancient Egyptians who may have netted one just as Ezekiel describes in verse 3. See the plesiosaur-like hieroglyphic (to the left) currently displayed in the London Museum.
source

Isaiah twice mentioning the "fiery flying serpent." Egypt is called the place of the "lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent," (30:6). This fits with classical authors describing pterosaur populations in Egypt and Arabia. Goertzen notes: "The Hebrew word, m'opheph Jpvfm, is a polal participle; a form used only by Isaiah when describing the reptilian saraph. The polal indicates an intensive of the root pvf ooph that means to fly or flutter. The imperfect form of the polal is found in Genesis 1:20, ‘flying creatures that flutter to and fro’ and Isaiah 6:2 ‘seraphim’ (the same word as the reptiles here used for angelic creatures) that fly to and fro.’" (Goertzen, John, "The Bible and Pterosaurs," 1998

Zalmoxis

Herodotus was told by the Euhemeristic Pontic Greeks that Zalmoxis was really a man, formerly a slave (or disciple) of Pythagoras, who taught him the "sciences of the skies" at Samos
According to Herodotus, at one point Zalmoxis traveled to Egypt and brought the people mystic knowledge about the immortality of the soul, teaching them that they would pass at death to a certain place where they would enjoy all possible blessings for all eternity.Zalmoxis then had a subterranean chamber constructed (other accounts say that it was a natural cave) on the holy mountain of Kogaion,

Pythagoras (pythons, caves, Egypt, sky sciences, gods, afterlife) hmmm. Those Greeks knew something. The cult that evolved out of Zalmoxis was Henotheistic meaning... from Wiki...Henotheism (Greek εἷς θεός heis theos "one god") is a term coined by Max Müller, to mean devotion to a single primary god while accepting the existence or possible existence of other deities.
This is what that Aboriginal quote earlier was talking about too, One god, many saints....

I was thinking(meditating) earlier about Egypt having secrets buried underground, the Vatican having secrets buried underground. I was picturing the Romans taking Egypts treasures to Rome. I was thinking about the Romans taking all the Greek treasures to Rome. The Knights of Templar taking Jerusalem's treasures to Rome. (It is said the Coloseum was built with treasures from Israel.) It made me think that possibly the knowledge we seek is under the Vatican in their miles of hording rooms. It was just an image I got. And the Freemason's buildings were like the "business office" of it all. I just thought I would throw that out there.

Ancient pagan graveyard found under the Vatican
Just inside the Vatican's fortified walls, directly below the street connecting its private pharmacy and its members-only supermarket, lies a 2,000-year-old graveyard littered with bizarre, often disturbing displays of pagan worship. Under one metallic walkway, the headless skeleton of a young boy rests in an open grave.

At his side, a marble replica of a hen's egg, which to pagans represented the rebirth of the body through reincarnation. Nearby, countless skeletons lie scattered among the remnants of terra cotta vases used in pagan ceremonies.

The underground air is damp with the smell of wet dirt, and the clay tubes used by the pagans to feed their dead with honey and syrup still protrude, fingerlike, from the ground.

Underground Rome

In one of these is a perfect example of a temple of Mithras, a Persian God who probably migrated back to Italy with soldiers and slaves

I found a cool site about Mithraism, even has a virtual temple to explore. Here

Here is some interesting reading on Myths.

Hamlet's Mill
An Essay Investigating the Origins of Human Knowledge and Its Transmission Through Myth

THERE IS A TRADITION from Borneo of a "Whirlpool island" with a tree that allows a man to climb up into heaven and bring back useful seeds from the "land of the Pleiades." [n1 A. Maass, "Sternkunde und Sterndeuterei im Malaiischen Archipel" (1924), in Tijdschrift lndische Taal-, Land, en Volkenkunde 64, p. 388.]. The Polynesians have not made up their mind, apparently, concerning the exact localization of their whirlpool which serves in most cases as entrance to the abode of the dead; it is supposed to be found "at the end of the sky," and "at the edge of the Milky Way."

Because literally there is a large gap between the pine trees. No pines. We have names like that here in Oregon too.
