Hi guys...I'm feeling really odd today...kinda sore and headachy and just out of sorts. The last few nights have been really bad sleep nights too, with very vivid dreams, and night terrors last night. I was trying to sit up in bed to fight them off with a cushion at one point....I won though.
I also have really weird vibration tremor things in my chest and throat that I don't remember having before. Might be stress, I dunno, but might be something else.

Bardarbunga is still rumbling, with another 5.1 in the last hour, and now smoke and lava showing on the web cam. I have a huge feeling this one isn't over by a long way yet.

Bardarbunga cam

Hope you're all ok...

There have been 275 quakes of all magnitudes in Ester,Alaska,
in the last 24 hours! 65.155*N -148.983*W.
Closest volcano is Buzzards Creek. 64.061*N -148.432*W.

Even more interesting...all the activity in Iceland...
latitude 64.723*N!
Really weird!!!
Wonder what it means???

Oooh that's interesting...almost the same latitude. I'm quite worried about Iceland actually...the potential for serious doom is huge. Well spotted!

I also picked up on this little thing...in Scotland no less, and almost on my latitude, which maybe explains the last couple of days. Not big at all, but very close to me and shallow too.

Quake off the West Coast

Feeling much better this morning though, despite being stressed out of my head, and I managed a full uninterrupted 7 hours sleep last night...got to be good.

There was a 5.3 at Bardarbunga about 4 hours ago, which I think might be the biggest yet, that's around 1pm GMT...is anyone else getting weird symptoms they think might be related, as my headache just went several gears. Not a migraine yet, but going that way...this is not good.

Sorry for the multiple posts guys..full on migraine, to the point of throwing up. I'm off to bed. IF this is an earthquake, it's a monster...at least an 8, and somewhere between 57 and 67 north, between Alaska and Sweden. No idea why I think that. Please let it be wrong. Stay safe everyone.

Oh, no!
I hope it's not any populated place,
or any that we have been watching!

I don't know what hubby is feeling,
he woke up today, ate, then hit the couch & was gone!
He had to work yesterday, plus was doing stuff here,
so he was wiped out, but he had a good night's sleep,
so he must be feeling something too.

I'm just a little antsy, my energy is building though.
Not starving yet, so it must not be close yet.
No sleeping pill thing either, but that's usually right before.
I slept good last night too, so we'll see what happens!

Stay safe too!

Things have been rather sleepy here the past few nights. Low energy in the day as well.. No headaches though. Likely just feeling the pressure changes in regard to the weather though. I wish I wasnt so tired!! ack!

My head wants to explode completely. This is been going on all day. I wasn't surprised to see an X-class flare. I've not followed anything lately so I don't know what is going on on the sun and with quakes. But I'm nauseated right now too. I have had so much on my mind with my situation with my living and eviction I can't follow everything. I'll be trying to tonight though. I'm too tired for much else. I miss catching up on spaceweather and quakes.

Also before I forget I slept so much last night and the night before. I was surprised how early I just went to lay down and slept HARD. Woke up a few times last night and just felt I couldn't even get out of bed.

Hey..
I hope you have some progress with your house situation...that must be massive stress on you. Am still sending good thoughts your way for a resolution.

This solar flare is really taking it's toll on me...I'm very sore and just wiped out really. Had a few nights bad sleep earlier in the week, but am sleeping like a dead thing now. We're busy at work though, and I'm doing almost two weeks of working every day with the open studio event we have on, which is exhausting, but a year ago, I simply couldn't have done it at all, so I think that's an improvement. Physically, I'm very sore, and my skin is tender...hips, and right lower leg in particular are bothering me. I also have that sleepy, foggy, stuck in treacle feeling...very sluggish. I'm sure Bardarbunga is going to go up soon..maybe next week...after this flare hits us tonight and tomorrow.

At least we have the prospect of some pretty lights tonight...enjoy is you get a chance to see them!

Yep here too. I'm so wiped. I only slept about an hour or two. Last night. Nothing has changed for any benefit about my housing crisis. Thanks for asking.

We also have a full moon happening. I feel tremors as I type this...from the ground. It's weird. What on earth? Possible truck but wow, that was weird.

I am still concerned about California and South America Peru/Ecuador/chile. Of course Iceland is of major interest but I'm saying. Looking at California and some of these quakes it seems magma may be related. Cause it seems that places like "the geysers" and such are getting them. And with these volcanos in Iceland and all. Hope Yellowstone is not planning on having a party anytime soon.

Keep getting these chest twinges. Typical of flare/CME arrival. The first 24 hours before one hits and the 24 hours after are most common for things like that. I am going to make sure I don't keel over. Lol. Hope all are well.

We were supposed to meet up with oldest daughter when she finished work today.
When I called her to make sure she didn't have to work overtime,
she didn't sound like herself at all.
I asked her what was wrong & she said she didn't feel right.
She said she wanted to go straight home, we could catch up with her later.

Now hubby isn't feeling right either, we had to cut short our grocery shopping trip.
What are the odds of them both 'not feeling right'?
Something must be in the pipeline?

Anyone else feeling anything???

I'm doing well actually. My situation improved so much after I went to court the other day. They wound up finding judgement BUT my landlord is a wonderful person. She is going to work with me in a huge way, she's going to lower my rent. Also set me up with an automatic rent pay from my bank into theirs so there are no mixups and late payments.

I don't know what I did in life to deserve this kind of amazing reprieve but I am grateful on so many levels.

Hope things are better for you soon though. I'll be paying attention though.

It absolutely delights me to read this...well done for helping make this happen!
And you don't have to go through the trauma of a house move.

As for how I'm feeling...like I'm sitting on a bomb....achy, very sore generally, waiting for something big to happen. I'm watching Bardarbunga like a hawk.

I'm sooo happy for you! That's awesome news!
What a 'silver lining'!

Well, nothing panned out with quakes & I'm glad.
I hope oldest daughter doesn't have hubby's 'gift'!
When I checked solar stuff, it was unsettled, so who knows.

Today, almost everything I tried to do went kaflooey!
My cell phone couldn't call any 800 #'s, but hubby's could.
Every bill that I tried to pay online, I had a problem with, but for different reasons!
The last one I tried, it said my debit card had insufficient funds!
I even checked the deposit slip to make sure the deposit went into the right account!

I didn't burn any food today though, so it wasn't everything...yet!
So much was going wrong, that I was getting chest pains & craving dark chocolate!!!

I wonder what all THAT means??? Lol!

Am logging in to report an ear worm...I woke up with this in my head this morning from absolutely nowhere. I don't listen to the radio, and it's not on any cd I own. This isn't the version I was looking for on youtube, but a weird coincidence is that I looked up an old class mate just last night who now lives in San Diego, which is where this particular video was filmed, so maybe...or hopefully maybe not, actually. Anyway....enjoy!

Apart from that, not slept very well, very sore when I woke this morning, desperately wanting to run for the hills, the usual....
Have a fab weekend everyone.

Edit...still a bit sleepy, but the vid isn't showing up in my post...will try and fix, but for the reocrd, it's Bob Seger, Hollywood Nights, live in San Diego 1978.

Oy my head kills.

Seems St. Helens is more active too. Meep!

I just am wondering if something isn't about to pop off soon.

For any's sake....haven't been on in a couple of days, so jumped in and here you are with the same thing.
The first thread I read was about the 5 and 6 in Alaska in the last 24 hours, which don't seem to be on USGS, but anyway....

I've had a really weird headache all afternoon, a bit like the last big one, but strange...in the middle of my head like normal for an Alaska quake, but also round the top of my eyes and round the sides of my face. Ears are are ringing too. I'm sitting on the couch, just had dinner, not particularly tired, but have just had the most awful wave of vertigo. Not had that in a long time, and as far as migraines go, that's the last symptom I get when they get really bad and I haven't paid attention to the warning signs. So either I'm going to have a belter of a migraine tomorrow, or Alaska is about to pop. I'll take the migraine any day.

Stay safe everyone...there is some weird weird stuff in the works. Have a plan, please.

Sorry everyone!
I just had to eat a can of creamed corn!
If anything happens, I'll take full responsibility for it!

When hubby came home from work he said he felt 'yucky' all day.
(Official, technical quake term!!!)
He said his symptoms were over 7.
That's the highest he's said in quite awhile.

We promised the grandkids that we would go along fishing today.
It's a 1.2 mile hike, one way, through the brushy woods,
much of it uphill, to their favorite fishing spot.
Grandpa & I are going to be dead meat by the time we get back!!!
If there's a quake coming, we may have to drag grandpa back out!

Not much activity today, maybe something IS building???
