Phew. I was nervous for a moment.

I just tried to visit my profile and cannot do so either. So it's not just you on that front.

Those are some big ass buttons.

Yeah, for the visually impared amongst us.
Are the any extra user customisations we can make.

I'm lost and confused and scared and cold and I want my teddy!

Hopefully they'll fix the issue soon.

I always use my profile and then "My posts" to find my recent threads and stuff... hope that feature is staying.


The "my profile/public profile" tab takes me through to the breaking news section?

I like the graphics but I'm lost.

During the transition with changes and stuff, some glitches may appear from time to time. And it will likely fix itself, maybe even seconds after you identify them. This thread is not for reporting stuff like that. In fact, chances are that these glitches will be fixed before you even report them. If there's a glitch that is not fixing itself soon enough, try to clear your browser's cache and see if that helps

I can't remember what threads I posted in and have no way of finding out now If only my brain worked and I could remember.

I hope we still get a "My recent posts" thingy and not just a general "recent posts" thingy.

it's been 5 weeks now, and the mod who banned me said he has done everything he can to lift the ban, and does not know why I do not have access to chat.

I like listening to ATS LIVE car crash radio with Neformore and the team, and I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE in chat during the live broadcasts.

Am i banned from chat for life? Is this permanent?

I would like to just lightly comment that the huge blue bar on the new site is just too much in my opinion. It appears gaudy and makes the site look less professional than it did. When things are improvements, you get kudos, SO. Lots of them. But this? Nuh uh. Bad bad bad. At least reduce its size a touch?

I only have two gripes and feel free to shoot me down.

1) Every other forum I subscribe to has an icon at the front of each thread signifying you have contributed to it. Its would be very useful with a high-volume traffic site like ATS. I reply to multiple threads but get distracted by work and life and then forget which threads I've commented in. It would be nice to have an easy visual reference to remind us.

2) Every other forum I subscribe to has an icon which takes you to the last+1 post in the thread which you haven't read. I don't know if I'm just being a bit thick and can't see this.

I would contribute more if it was clear which thread I had posted in and which post in that thread was the last I had read.

I'm getting old and any help for my memory would really be appreciated.

Every thread I post in goes onto my ATS page in the top 50 subscriptions I have been active in on the right side of the page, yours should also, if your not you should be checking that page frequently. I have MyATS bookmarked and it's the first page I see when I log on. Plus you can click on posts at the top of your personal profile page..

edit to add: that little green botton you see after the name of a thread takes you to the last post.

Thanks for taking the time to reply Aquarius.

Thing is I like to see what everyone else is saying first of all. So I have the main forum as my homepage. I don't want to miss current events so usually click on "Latest Posts" from there.

It would be nice if there was an indication that I had contributed to any particular thread on that page and an option to go to the first post after the one I made in that thread.

I've just given up on so many threads because I remembered I had posted in them but couldn't remember which post (usually low 10s or 20s) I had made but the next time I looked there was 2-300 posts. I haven't the time to backtrack and find the last post I made.

Like I said, other sites I frequent show an icon at the start of a thread which shows you have contributed to it. They also have an icon which takes you to the last unread post that relates to you in that thread.

In my humble opinion it would make this site a Hell of a lot better than it already is.
