Why the Giants/ Nephilim accounts may hold some truth

the nephilim, a cross between angels and mankind, thought to have been destroyed through flood by god. might for some represent what the neanderthrals may have been, as for reasons to ponder why,

nephilim and man both coexisting at the same time, man created by god as man, not evolving through neanderthals or some missing link. man being the survivor where neanderthals all but perished.

neanderthrals having bigger brains, greater bone densities, giving them possibly higher knowledge or intelligence, and also greater strength than man. bible translations that call this cross breeding as the heroes of old, men of renown. others as giants and warriors of renown.

or even legends such as hercules, where zeus as a god being father, and born through earthly mother. zeus being king of gods and supreme ruler of men, having a brother called hades. where hades also ruling underworld. a legend which shows man and god producing offspring, and living within same time.

nephilim sugested being similar but more human than ape through this unknown article.

Giant Asian Ape and Humans Coexisted, Might Have Interacted.

A German paleontologist discovered Gigantopithecus in 1935 when he picked up a strange, heavy tooth in a Chinese apothecary. It was labeled as a dragon tooth. University of Iowa paleoanthropologist Russell L. Ciochon thinks it was even larger.

whether the nephilim represents beings as aliens, apes, neanderthrals or combination of legendary figures as half man, half god, there does seem to be some sort of existance made for these beings and cannot be altogether ruled out as something to dismiss entirely.

I would like to point out that Nephillim doesn't translate into Giants. in fact, the word giant isn't mentioned once in all of the Hebrew bible. the Hellenist Greeks, when translating the Torah, changed the word into the Creek equivalent of giants. Titans resulted and when further translation occurred into the roman empire titans was replaced by giants.

the direct translation of the word nephillim is "those who have fallen", others say it's "those who were cast down" and still others claim it translates "those with no neck" implying that they're lower/not with God.

I just watched an episode of The Naked Archaeologists where the host, Jabonovich or something like that, tried to find the meaning of the word Nephillim. He concluded that some 40,000 years ago homo sapiens and Neanderthals had sex and created hybrids. i don't necessarily believe that, but i repeat, nephillim does not mean giants in any way what-so-ever.

In fact there were 70 of them and the majority were Jews that spoke and wrote greek. It was the "English language" of that era. Also the word Titan does not come from the Roman latin vocabulary. So there is a little chance that Romans added something extra to the meaning. They would just create a new name for it like they been doing with the ancient Gods. Poseidon, the god of the Sea for example became Neptunus - Neptune.

Now how is possible that a 'giant' can mate with a human female???have anybody consider the oddities of this proposition???? or viceversa a giant female matting with a regular size men????its just not possible from the point of view of reproduction organs the poor female will suffer lascerations in the vagina from the enormity of the falo.or maybe death.and how she suposed to give birth???to a enormous product??????she will die. not even consider that she can possible carried full term pregnancy.. the case is just too incredible. MAYBE THE MISTAKE IS THAT WE GOT LOST IN THE TRANSLATION OF ANCIENT TEXTS/.

Nephilim may still be around today, some claim. The process of hybridization never really ended.
