Bush speaks on the possibility of another 9/11

Another "9/11" event on US soil will show just one thing. That being the fact that all the $Billions in taxpayers money given to the military suppliers and the alphabet agencies has been wasted.
So, the logical conclusion would be to bring all the troops home to protect the borders and stop the terrrrrists getting in.

You can be sure they won't be blaming Afghanistan, all the big US bases are already built along the route of the projected pipeline to the Indian Ocean . They will be blaming a country where they don't have bases in existance by any existing or projected pipelines. It'll also ensure India's co-operation and degree of economic control, considering the Iran/Pakistan/India pipeline to be built .

People need to get back to basics here. America has not learned from recent events. or september 11th and other attacks etc. I don't approve of these attacks of course. But America has serious re thinking and learning to do. They need to look at the very notions of their actions onto the world and what are the reactions that are occurring. And why America is a threat from terrosim today.

You are wrong on that assumption. I understand only too well that every action has a reaction. However, there are many who believe that the US has done nothing wrong and is the victim here (almost an Israeli point of view). Many are ignorant of the decades of US meddling in the ME and elsewhere and see any attack on US military or economic interests as terrorism, perpetrated by wild eyed crazy Islamic fellows. This, of course, is precisely what the government wants people to think and is aided by the compliant corporate media in pushing the agendas.

People need to look past what is happening right now and do a little research to establish WHY attacks are happening, then put the blame squarely where it belongs.

Well, the executive order used some pretty vague verbage and he wouldn't necessarily need anything the size of 911 to retain power. I believe it has a clause that would cover an "economic emergency". You could make an arguement that our economy is in an emergency state right now and it is rapidly declining. By the end of the year, he could easily use that as his "golden ticket". He doesn't need another 911 to remain in power, if that is his supposed goal. That is why I don't think this has anything to do with him wanting to stay in power.

I think it would be used as justification for another war. That would need a large scale attack to sway the people.

Yes I am American and no i don't agree with everything that has happened, but the sad reality is well people don't give a # unless it has something to directly do with them, if it don't so what.

Just a thought, all those that beleive in the 2012 ascension and everything else that goes with the "end times" theory will be saying that Bush is the anti-christ and this is all part of how it is meant to be. Ive studied the prophets, videos and writings on the subject for a few years now and have to say that for all intents and purposes the big picture is coming to be. What I cant understand is why so many of our American brothers and sisters are just sitting dumfounded by all thats going on. America and those who "contoll" it holds all the answers to what is wrong with the world today. Surely the excuse of "people dont see whats going on" has worn thin by now. I have grandkids and it saddens me to realise that their future is in the hands of the American public that would rather close their eyes to the obvious, not the American administration. Wake up America ! whether you realise it or not, you have a say, please use it !!. 2012 is not the issue, its the hell on earth leading to it that concerns me and mine, so get up of your backsides and do something for your future, our future, the worlds future.

If Bush goes to war with Pakistan, the whole world will be plunged into it. There will be no more peace, and it is true, if I were you, I would want to get out of those major cities quickly. You wouldn't believe how many non-Americans hate America these days. I'm not saying that I hate America, I used to live and grow up there and I have so many fond memories of that place. I always wanted to go back and make a contribution to the place in which i grew up. I have been questioning God on why I had to move to another country in 2002, but now i believe the answer that God is keeping me safe from the demise of this country.

Just wanted to say that we should change the head line to "Bush Speaks on the Possibility that He'll create another 9/11 in the near future."

My initial reaction to this is, to thank the President for at least warning us this time around. Next time I wake up and see buildings coming down on tv, I'll try and not panic as horribly as I did last time.

I know I'm being snarky, and I do apologize. I am quite frustrated and tired of the fear mongering. I will not live in fear. But I will be prepared.
