Not sure if you are reading the topic at the moment, but here goes.

Remember when you used to get that Cold feeling, I remember you posting how you used to get like cold shivers, when you not even cold. Kind of like "When somebody walks over your grave" as they say lol.

Well over the last 2 days this has started happening to me, it's totally random and uncontrollable, it makes my whole body vibrate for a few seconds and I physical jolt sometimes. Must look funny when people are watching me lol

Anyway just wanted to know if you ever worked out what it was, and do you still get it.

Oh hi . Yeah I still get it, someone told me what it was, or at least what he thought it was, when I posted my first topic so U2U me if you want to know more ;o.

Yes apparently someone didnt like Cold Play and this is the reason its got closed down... I thought that music was perfect for a Global meditation. So yer the fans of Cold Play got the thread closed..jk

Next time you're walking down the street un-aware that your about to bump your foot off something, when it happens and "startles" you, try and focus on the feelings it's pretty interesting. You might feel small electric shocks all over your body. In tai chi / qi-gong, this is a "symtom" or chi converting into jing, or rather... your energy's frequency raising.

You might also find that if you almost get hit by a cyclist or some car turns unexpectadly in front of you, it may be accompanied by a sudden sweat/heat that might go down your leg and up your back.

So what we have here is in moments of danger or uncertainty, there is the possibility that our energy is moving faster, and at a higher frequency. Add in the effects of adrenaline and it seems like we're better survivors then we may have anticipated. Higher senses, lots of energy and strength etc.

As for the cold tingling, I know this, that in moments where I am thinking about things that make me happy, that is things I could do and try to accomplish and visualise the results, i get this excitement, and its usually experienced as a tingling.

Beyond that there could be multiple reasons, I would think if its a cold feeling then it would have to do with slower energy.

If it's slower energy would it be around the chakras? I remember a few times where it's been up in my head, a tingling in my scalp afterwards. Also, do you know what I mean when it feels like there's something touching the top of your head? Just like a soft weight or something, what is that?

Sounds like your feeling what I consider to be the crown opening.

Its at the very top of your head, you could put your finger where you feel it every time. Sometimes its just tingling, sometimes you feel pressure, and some times it feels like a sharp burning feeling. I feel similar things on my brow after an intense meditation, never burning though.

I partially associate it with the brain making new neural pathways, learning how to interface with the new energies.

I googled the above Kundalini shakti, are you fully aware of what its about? Seems its a little more in depth than normal chakra energy.

After further research on this form of kundalini Jn mentions it seems that SHIVA is the divine consciousness which led to the creation of the Universe and its active willpower is SHAKTI. So it is the union of these that the link refers to possibly... not sure. It will be the tantric energy of this union that is seen in Kundalini Shakti.

I see what you mean, i thought it was something like that (i dont know indian so would of had to have checked the exact word).

The YouTube Video, is basically about the Chakras, but like you said the word Kundalini Shakti, has meaning to do with the raising of the Kundalini.

The idea with Tantra is to send the sexual energy up the Spine, and not outwards, through the lower chakras, but to channel it within, and up the spine, Tantra is said to be the way to awaken kundalini, though alot of people say they awaken it through meditation etc.

I think it looks very interesting and is a side to chakra meditation not covered much on this thread. It does seem to be a recognized technique but says western ideas have tarnished its reputation some what.

Well I have no idea what you mean headlightone. But seriously this side of meditation is just as valid as say opening 3rd eyes or crown chakras. It still the generation of energies within our chakra system, its just the West has turned in into some wink wink nod nod type Sting "n" Trudy Styler type situation! If it were studied as the ancients once did as it was meant it would not have this silly embaressing tag to it. Chakra energy is chakra energy at the end of the day.

This will be my last ever post on ATS, I am just going to observe and not become distracted in my own views and opinions. It’s like last night something clicked into place and I woke the” F” up, I had to sit back and go over some things in my mind. If there is one thing in life I will admit and I honestly hold my hands up to this, and that’s “I make mistakes” just like anyone else. When the mistake becomes the problem and you feel you need to defend yourself with your opinion, you do indeed create a problem.

Hours upon hours of compulsive thinking, reading, typing, research, research of other people’s research that is not always that true anyway. Everybody with their own personal truth, a personal truth that they will defend with their opinions, sat behind their profile like it’s the answer to life. I am not saying it’s all bad though; I have met many great people along the way and had some pretty good conversations in many different topics. However a lot of them discussions became a way to voice my opinions and say my truth “Me and my story” here is what I know “Somebody do something with it” anything just to get a reaction to add more content to “Me and my Story”

So in saying that this will not only be my last post but my last “Opinion” also on here anyway best make it count.

So there you go, take it for what it is, I really don’t care I feel I am me and not some alter ego. Take care peeps and don’t try too hard searching for the truth, it’s bad for your health.
