im almost convinced this is heading our way, but will continue to research it...

i feel just the same. im 17 years old and ive always felt this way with my peers in school and even close friends. i feel like its as if i am more awakened than others, i have very few close relationships. i dont think ive ever been abducted though but ive always felt like a had a greater purpose hear on earth. who knows

From what I've researched over the years about 2012, is that there will be a definite shift in human consciousness, along with a shift in the poles. What this will cause, I'm not entirely sure. I've read that the people that 'accept' the changes, will move on into the next dimension, the 4th/5th dimension, while people still clinging to ignorance will stay in the 3rd, which is what we are in now. This shift relates to the DNA change that is going on now as well. Also from what I've read, that this change in the world and in people will cause a 'golden age' of peace for mankind. This also involves the return of the higher beings so to speak, not god, but other intelligent beings that inhabit the universe.

So, what does this mean? It seems everyone here agrees that something is definitely going on, something we all definitely feel. We all are having dreams that are much more than dreams. Whether they be of the symbolic kind, the prophetic or just your subconscious/higher self trying to get in touch with you.

I'm a firm believer in there being no coincidences. I do not think this thread was started as a coincidence, nor how we've all shared similar bits of info about ourselves that seem eerily the same in ways, and different in others. Another thing is how we are all around the same age range, the 20s, with a few younger and older individuals.

So, whats it all mean? Maybe we're supposed to meet. Maybe start a movement. However, convincing the whole of the world about well everything we've discussed here, i fear will be looked down upon nor taken seriously. So what does that leave us? We have no real evidence outside of personal experiences, and belief.

So, I ask you, what do you think we should do? Because, its obvious something must be done. Or else I think our world is going to continue down its path to ruin.

And I for one don't want to sit by and watch something happen. I want to do something about it. Just dont know what.

Not trying to be annoying, just interested. Where did you get all that info? I see a lot of info going around, different from all sides, and I wonder where do they get it all from?? Not saying you making it up, but it sure looks odd. And would like to know.

You say you researched it, how did you figure out what was the right info and what wasn't?

I do have that feeling of living in important times, and there is a reason we are here, I just can't quite figure out what yet.

I'm going to wait and watch, nothing is certain to me.

Im not sure what needs to happen. I have been trying to figure that out the past week but I kind of gave up yesterday due to getting depressed and headaches thinking about the probability of the events happening.

A few things I know for certainty from spiritual beliefs that are confirmed.

The Earth is a bride for humanity. The Earth brings us life and it brings us security. When man kind messes nature up and takes it out of balance... she balances it back. She takes care of the things needed. She has her own natural way of population control, the more knowledgable people are the ones who avoid such events... like hey lets not move a mile beside a volcano ok? or Hey, the ground is charred lets plan to live here forever... just basic stuff... stuff you dont have to evaluate in a text book. THAT SAID

The Human race is messing things up for the earth and humanity itself. China/Japan Have experience so much hardship lately and its sad. The global catastrophes sp..? are getting worse and worse day by day by day. The media has to downplay such information because the fact are evadent. Mother nature isn't F()#%&! Around anymore. And no i dont beleive in a woman waving a pretty little wood rod around. I believe that a mass extinction event is going to happen I believe that either those who have opened there hearts to the world of nature and love will either be "taken" or they will have to help the rest of the people around them try to survive. Thats a doom and gloom theory. Another theory is that the Government maybe controlling all of this with their new gadgets or old rediscoverd gadgets and are letting events happen to do populize the world... because face it. The world can only house so many people fruitfully, otherwise its like drowning in a 30 Ft pool of water with with 100 people and 5 ft of space to swim in. Someone is going to come out on top... The rest of the people........ Lack of oxygen. It is even shown on msnbc and ats the the oxygen level in water has also greatly deminished... Im not sure if its because more people are compressing air or storing it in there bodies... but MASS is Never lost and if we are displacing it through natural means then... by natural means there is going to be less of it. Sure Water is H20 BUT it is in a water form.

Another theory... In the bible it said the earth once was waterless and springs sprang up from the ground. Ok naturaly if the world is spinning then the core is circulating too... however it is circulating in a different way. We have all probably seen the core or studied its concepts before. Well if the world heats up or needs to because it is a living organism of a sort it might expand... if so the water would more then likely turn to vapor and the world would expand the heat might be reduced due to the effect of the water and heat rising. that theory is incomplete I just havent researched it too much because I dont see the science behind it... or dont yet understand the science of it.

BASICALLY tho all these conspiracies are driving fear into the hearts of People of the Earth. Not people of certain countrys but people of the earth. We are all stuck on this place together we need to act civilized for God's sake. (I never say Gods name in vain and I seriously doubt this would be saying it in vain) If Christianity is true in which I believe the basic history is true while disregarding the added fear to control people and that all Jesus was saying is he is the son of God just as the rest of us are. We all hold the creator inside of us because we are all of the same creation... all of the same materials... and all part of a beatiful and complex crazy life. I believe that the world needs to understand the complexity of the love of the human heart and understand the basic function of humans on earth instead of slaves to corporations. The enligthened few need to stand up but the world will never allow it and will deem the regular man a conspirator... adulturer of the words of truth *how ironic huh lol *

The thing I fear most is all of the things I know for certain and the things I dont know but feel confident in will be lost because I choose to do nothing. I have so many ideas on what to do and how to help but I have no finanical backing and no way to prove if any of this works. i am too young and cannot be trusted. I think the people that see whats coming need to stop being fed the lies and start preparing. Start preparing the hearts of man to be ready. I know something is coming... wether it is my imminent death beacuse of a nuclear catastrophe or my death because of a tidal wave the size of mount everest or just the fact of people around me dying or me being "taken" and knowing everyone will have to fend for themselves I feel obligated to search for the truth and teach those who will survive. Human history from the past 7,000 years does not need to reoccur. We need to live a more loving life and pass it on. You can achieve much in love for mankind. All the technologies we possess can increase 10 Fold and the next cycle can be prevented or we can just up and leave for a few years in some theorys. Im not sure . Reading on ATS possible theorys and then getting scientific backing drives me crazy. So I rely on myself... if I do that I see the DRAFT in the U.S. coming back and the world going to war because of Israel... all because some people declared themselves The Spiritually Elite of the world. No other in this world delcares it like they do "The ones who hold favor in God's Eyes" I think its all one great big scheme to depopulate the world at a much needed time. I mean its so simple they dont have to do anything except put 2 religions around the jewish faith and eventually let them destroy each other... i mean come on... they = atleast 80% of the world religion! am I wrong? I think those are close numbers... more research is needed.

Then when I reread this post I see how uncertain I am... but I know something is going to happen. I just know that We all have to search out the truth in the natural world and study it with scientific backing and we will find the truth. They will come to us in our dreams the closer we get. Its not annoying at all. When I said researched its just a basic compilation of a number of sites I've read over the internet and books over the past say 7 years. To be honest, I cannot name a lot of the sites, but if you type in 2012 in google, you get a lot of info from varying sources. I'm not saying any one of these is right per say, I don't think anyone can claim with certainty what 2012 will bring. But we can damn well speculate. Here are some:

Those are just a few that I managed to find. The thing is though, is that there are a number of websites, books, and people talking about what they think, or believe is going to happen in 2012. And yes a lot of them talk about the same thing, but the important thing is, IMO at least is that you should research it for yourself and find the answers you seek.

Does anyone here just wish they were like the people that we know we are different from, sometimes?

I was talking with the wife this morning about the typhoon in the Philippines and said to her that I feel upset that 60,000 people, just like us, have lost everything. She didn't really care one way or the other. Although she is beginning to understand how depressed and powerless I feel.

You see, she thinks people such as us are mad. One of my sons friends mums feel the same way about humanity and that something is going to happen - she has even gone out and started stockpiling survival items and she has no idea why she is doing it? My wife thinks she is mad and can not understand why we get on so well because, well, we are mad!

My wife has also read this thread and thinks we are all mad. Although she does respect the fact that I do feel different to everyone else, she just doesn't or can not comprehend why.

I go to work I see all these people going to fill up petrol at my service station, all spending $240AUD (around $240US) filling up their Prados and complaining to me about the petrol prices. They are going to work and working themselves to the bone, just to pay for petrol and their McMansions and wonder who is going to win Australian Idol or Big Brother. No one is interested in politics or world events anymore and they all seem oblivious to what is happening in the world.

Sometimes I wish I was just like them...

Yeah i wish I was like them at times... But I dont really care... I know our purpose is greater... this test of faith is just a right of passage. Ill probably fail it because I get headaches thinkings about what I know is going to happen as far as natural catastrophes are concerned. Knowledge is Power... I recite a line that I belive is true every day... "YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH" lol. Its so incredibly relevant.

Wow! a wonderful post rjmelter......i am amazed at your maturity considering how young you are....you are wise beyond your years...

....I feel im coming out of all the confusion now, im still confused dont get me wrong, as like all of you i feel ive always bee searching for anwers.. always waiting for 'something'..... at the moment i feel quite content, because for months on end ill read so much on ats that worries me, or fills me with questions...ill do my own research that leaves me with more questions, and it never ends... but now i feel like ive accepted whatever it is thats coming...
almost like im ready now.... and that its took me a while to get to this point... like ive stated many times....its so hard to explain!
...its like im spluttering out words form my 'higher self'! and my normal self cannot understand things properly yet....

I understand what you are saying. There were days when I was in high school/college and I was sitting there staring off into space, bored to tears while everyone around me was focused on what party they were going to, or who was dating who or what was going on in TV land. And I secretly wished I could join them in there ignorance. Sometimes I think life would be so incredibly easier.

Unfortunately, knowledge is a double edged sword. Once you know, you can't truly forget. Unless, you know, you get some crazy form of amnesia or something along the lines. But you catch my drift.

Hey Cosmic? :-D Can you create another post about Younger Generations belieivers, feel something coming? lol I think maybe if we were to expand our horizons we can get more theorys and get closer to the truth. The headaches will increase for me. But the more we sort through stuff the clearer the truth will become. I read one of your posts the other day and im debating on wether or not to buy large storages of sugar, butter, protein like beans and storages of important vitamins that we wont get any more. and of course flour and rice. Water purifier... whatever lol. I hope the rumor about them trying to unite the world is what it is. All the leader has to do is piss off the wrong people and hes done then we pick another 1. Work together and lets explore space and technology etc. There is a positive aspect to humanity... when we endure the pressures or our primitive ways and surpass them much can be accomplished... unfortunately its much easier to go with quick reponsive and uneducated decisions... some choose not to educate themselves because they are lazy. The world has so much potential when can we all just see that?? Atleast Some of yall here have a good head on your shoulders.

yes all of those things except i dont have psychic tendencies i have visions form God i do feel vary connested to living natural things and i feel as thoughi can readd others minds or control things with my thoughts etc but that all can be explained by the bible as well i wanted to suggest to you to explore the bible not church i said the bible nowadays i feel ashamed to be calle d a christian i want a different name for following the teachings of the bible and christ but tehe reason why i said that is because i feel as though the bible answers all my questions but that iss very interesting i didnt know that others feelt that way i thought i was a black sheep
