The timing is too coincidental and too repetive consistent to what we have seen in the past during the period of Taiwanese elections. Normally during those periods China becomes a bit nervous too and will start to mobilize our forces. However it seems that the PLA start to understand that mobilizing the forces and to show the muscles will not help the cause. So this time there is to my surprise and satisfaction no real nervous mobilization.

Anyone I talk to in China, Hong Kong or Taiwan, they will think that the USA should not have sent the CSGs, we are really not living in the era of Mao anymore. PRC and Taiwan are stepping into a new era of new agreements and talking after wasting 8 years.

So I will be only be surprised if the CSGs stay in the neighboor for much longer than needed. If they do? well maybe they really is here for another reason, who knows what the USA is up to again then.

As I pointed out earlier, the ONLY CSG in the area is the Nimitz, and she has been working with Korea for an ANNUAL exercise and to cover for the USS Kitty Hawk while she's undergoing routine maintenance. The Lincoln is in transit to the Middle East for a routine deployment.

Well the PRC and Taiwan is an interesting situation. Isn't it the Chinese that say the best way to win a war is to not fire a shot? I think they are very shrewd adversaries.

Taiwan says they want independence and we give them all the weapons they want to defend themselves. After all like you said its in our best interest to have free shipping lanes over there.

What happens if Taiwan decides to join the PRC? What happens then? They have all of this advanced weaponry and at that point we can do nothing about it.

I think the PRC is a lot smarter than we give them credit for. They can wait a long time and when the time is right I think Taiwan folds without a shot being fired and the PRC takes control of some very advanced weapons.

Then Japan and SK see that the PRC is the new power in that hemisphere, weighs its options and throws in with its neighbors because they have to live on that "block" so to speak.

Then we have a real South East Asia meets West battle ground. It happens every time. We arm our "allies" and it comes back to bit us. This time it could be fatal...

Sure is nice talking to you btw...

You too Perplexed ..

While there are alot of Taiwanese business men that have investments in mainland China corporations, it is still the Taiwanese government that wants to be Independent from the mainland. They realize, like Hong Kong does now, that rejoining the mainland starts out as good, but then a slow sqeeze of power is placed on them. Hong Kong now is no longer like it was, they cannot do much without approval from the PRC.

The business men in Taiwan may push for reunification with the mainland, but does not appear this is the route the Taiwanese government is going to take. Because of this, China will have to take Taiwan by force. Basically, Taiwan does not want to become like Hong Kong is.

Also, the factions in China relative to government are becoming consolidated giving President Hu much more authority than should be allowed. It is this type of authority that makes Communism a dictatorship (it never fails, and why Communism doesn't work as stated on paper) and China is heading down this path (much like with Mao). It is just that they are now doing it a smarter way than Mao did, using the West to build their economy mostly.

There will be a war over Taiwan by 2010, and could be as soon as this summer. All indicators point to this with China's crash building of Navy, weapons purchases, Information Warfare research, missles pointed at Taiwan (approaching 1000) and more.

Similar scenario can be found at www.12-21-2012-a-prophecy.com/ regarding Iran and China.

Hmm, so all the media reports of the Kitty Hawk putting to sea, including Navy Times and Stars and Stripes, and the photo's of the Kitty Hawk departing... are all fake?

Looks like two carriers to me man, even the Chinese media is reporting the Kitty Hawk is at sea near Taiwan, apparently preparing for a Hong Kong visit too. Last time that didn't go too well.

The Lincoln is in Pearl like you said, but I can't believe every news outlet from all those different countries are all wrong about the Kitty Hawk, particularly when shipspotters have photography of her leaving port in Japan with the Curtis Wilbur.

Like I have said before, the real reason for "showing" Naval & Air power in region has many reasons, maybe this is one:

US, Russia, China battling to sell fighter jets in Asia

WASHINGTON: The United States is bracing for tough competition from Russia and China as cash-flush Asian economies look up to the trio for a new breed of fighter jets to beef up their air forces, say experts.

Selling arms is needed for having more wars...

Two primary purposes of being in Iraq from the beginning. One, the oil and two starting a war with Iran. This will lead to alleged ties with Al Qaeda and major attacks within the US. Also watch for Russia and China conducting exercises near South America and South of Mexco.

Please read carefully:

Henry Deacon did NOT say that there WILL be a war in 2008 with China.

He simply mentioned a PLAN ..

Let's not read into what is NOT there.

PLEASE READ CRITICALLY AND CAREFULLY.
