POLL: Do you believe in Aliens/UFOs?

ElectricUncleSam, your poll makes the same mistake as all the other polls i see about aliens.

Beleiving ETs exist somewhere in the universe is not the same as believing they are visiting.

Do i make the assumption that your talking about aliens visting earth in your poll? options should be

1. yes i believe we are being visited by aliens in spaceships
2. yes i believe aliens exist somewhere but dont believe they are visting us
3. i dont believe any aliens exist anywhere

I think that this poll is quite revealing and reasonably accurate.

again thats another terrible poll. The first statement links UFOs to alien life somwhere in the universe!

I dont think theres any way whatsoever we are alone in the universe (big place 300 billion galaxies) but i dont think UFOs are alien spaceships.

In fact none of those options cover what i think!

I see your point but I think the poll takes for granted that "option 1" means that aliens in ufos are visiting earth. Maybe next time we will let you do the wording so that there are no excuses. :p

Also the 16630 responses in a mainstream site(such as msnbc) is not something to take lightly!

Ok I don't want this to be useless so I went ahead and changed it a bit for all the people who have some problems with it's validity...

The new options are as follows:

Aliens/UFOs, do they exist/visiting us?

Both aliens/UFO's are real and they visit us.
Both aliens/UFO's are real, they do not visit.
UFOs are real, but aliens do not exist.
I'm undecided all together.
UFOs/aliens are not real, I don't believe in either.

I'm sorry to all the people who have already taken the poll, please forgive me for that, I just want this to be as accurate as can be and worthy of ATS... Thank you all for your excitement and comments, hope this better suits everyones needs!

I think you will find the new options will suit your needs... I want this to be a valid as possible because this is the way of ATS, thank you for your suggestions...

Interesting Poll so far ElectricUncleSam, and strrd.
I voted for “Both aliens/UFO's are real and they visit us” option.
A very short explanation of my view on Aliens and Ufo’s.
Aliens are in my opinion the obvious extremely advanced intelligences who came/ come from our own physical plain so to speak, our universe, as well as from other so called parallel dimensions.
Their means of transport we call in popular speech Ufo’s of Flying Saucers.

I have personal experience with one but not the other. There is certainly compelling evidence for both!

Having seen a UFO, a HUGE, orange sphere as big as a 3000 sq. ft. house, I'd say yeah - I beleive they exist! The thing hovered for 20 minutes or so, and then shot straight up and was gone in a couple seconds. It scared my freind so bad he turned very religious and to this day will not talk about it. So yeah, I know they are real. I saw it with my own two eyes!

I love how him turning very religious equated to him covering his eyes and refusing to speak of it. Typical and comical of a "religious" person.

I think they are afraid of me to be honest... Seems the always take off at the moment I go to look... Only happened once, but haven't seen any other craft since... I also heard they won't show themselves to those who aren't ready to see them or whatever too... But I remember I was at a friends house and there were about 20 people over and a buddy went out side and started eating snow, looking at the sky and what not... I was in the lazy boy and was just chatting with the rest of the people and the guy who went outside started yelling, "dude dude hey you guys come look at this!" over and over and I finally was like, "ya ya what the hell do you want" ya know... I look up and in an instant 3 spheres silver in color shot straight up and were gone in a blink of an eye, maybe faster than that.. Left 3 perfectly round circles, which I assumed were ice trails or some form of moisture that formed from the craft as they left the atmosphere... But I freaked a bit and got everyone to come out and they all saw the circles... That's the most I've ever seen...

Some people aren't ready to see that... I think I'd be ok with seeing a ship flying over, but if some alien grabbed me from behind I might freak...
