Brave WV resident to hold 9/11 truth meeting

I live just south of Cumberland, MD. I'm sure that almost everyone here has never heard of Cumberland, but it is the kind of area very resistant to change or new ideas. As I was reading my newspaper today I saw a letter to the editor that got my attention.



I have barely heard a whisper in this area concerning any alternate theories of what happened on 9/11, and had thought that I never would. To see that even in a closed minded area, such as the one I live in, a resident is brave enough to put his name in the paper gives me hope that eventually we will learn the truth of what happened. Now I'm not saying that all of the theories about possible happenings to the towers on 9/11 are true, but they should be investigated by outside parties. Hopefully it's not too late, and hopefully with the help of guys like this, people will stop being afraid to think outside the box.

Brave? To send a conspiracy laden letter to his local paper? I dont think so. Heck, we have a 9/11 group here that has monthly meetings and advertises in the paper. Its fun to go and laugh at them and their ideas.

You are the reason that it is brave for this man to send a letter to the paper and hold a meeting in a small town where people are resistant to accept any other ideas or beliefs. I wouldn't be surprised if he weren't beaten for his beliefs at the meeting.

The only thats funny and really sad is people like you that still believe the official story after its been proven to be missing or left out so much information. I mena more and more first responders are comming forward speaking out against the official story.

The biggest evidence against the official story is the lack of evidence that supports it.

Another important thing to add. World Trade Center Tower 7. Just google WTC7 if you want more info but I will tell a bit about it. This is the other tower near the twin towers that collapsed. It only had a moderate fire and had not been impacted by any planes or debrie etc. But it fell in what appeared to be a controlled demolish. It should not have collapsed unless it was done on purpose. If it was done on purpose then I guess the question becomes why? Why would they demolish any building unless they destroyed every single building. If they are lying about even a few things, how can we trust any of the story. The government is keeping secrets from us and it is wrong.

Building 7 was brought down becasue the fire chiefs were afraid fires would jump to other buildings. Also with the damage on the South side of the building would have caused damage to other buidlings if it collapsed on its own.

Since when is it brave to be duped by obvious anti-establishment propaganda?

Nothing is new...this stuff has been around for a long time ( subversive propaganda) instead of pamphlets and flowers with a note attached, it is YouTube videos and biased websites.

If anything, this short-lived -9/11 specific- phenomena only illustrates the failings of the American educational system. i.e. the inability for some to discern credible sources, the lack of scrutinty of those sources, the glaring lack of logic and critical thinking skills, and how to apply them correctly.

In the end bravery is misnamed as merely random opinions floating around doing nothing at all.

So how did they bring it down? Did they chain bulldozers to the uprights or did they use explosives? Are building implosions standard operating procedure to prevent spreading of fire? Are there explosives in every city just in case a building catches on fire?

Kleverone... you should learn facts before you present them as such. There is not one report stating that there was steel melting in any of the towers OR in the rubble....

I am not aware of the evaporated metal,..... I will also concede to the point that it is possible that there WAS molten steel at GZ. Fact is, the molten material was not anaylized to confirm its contents.

Enough energy to melt metal, possibly including steel? Sure.

You can always tell when someone is new to the "truth" movement. They pony up the same issues that have long since been demolished on ATS by a proper application of the facts.

WTC 7 was hit by WTC 1 when it collapsed. FDNY members report that there was a 20 story hole ripped out of it by WTC 1. They speak of seeing bulges in the building and hearing loud creaking noises. They also mention how widespread fires were burning unchecked for hours prior to the collapse.
