The book that I read was Sylvia Browns' new book Secret Societies. I think if you do any research you will find that not only that Jesus didn't die on the cross and that he lived, but you will also find a holy bloodline as well.

It's not a 'Holy' bloodline, in fact, many of those involved in actively trying to enslave the planet, think that they are descended from the 'lost' tribe of Dan.

I'll get a link for you,.......

It's a Holy place where God lives.

Act 7:49 Heaven [is] my throne, and earth [is] my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what [is] the place of my rest?

Jesus took a symbol of terror and turned into a symbol of peace love and redemption. Now that's pretty cool.

I suppose then it is good that JeZeus wasn't fried in the electric chair. Had this been the case the christians would be wearing little electric chair bobbles on their fashion accessories. How kewl would that be?

I do not know this JeZeus of which you speak. Is he Greek?

Although Christians would probably wear a chair-denoting symbol, it is neither for bobbling nor fashion that it is done. Again, this ignores the negative impacts one experiences for labelling themselves as a Christian.

It's not about 'kewl'. I've never met anyone who was a Christian because they thought it was 'kewl'. Is it 'kewl' to not engaged in hedonistic pleasures despite consequence? If it is, then let the 'kewl' begin.

To tell you the truth the male originated Jesus God coming from the mythological God Zeus makes sometimes more sense than the Christian Half God.

Or perhaps it's just tounge-in-cheek wordplay, which is often the case in patronizing cynicism. Perhaps the tounge has difficulty in saying the name without it hiding within the cheek? Par for the course (especially on ATS), just waiting an interesting substaniated claim to come along.

If you're unable to distinguish the difference between worshiping a cow-god and wearing a cross, I doubt I'm going to be much help to you.

I only have one question. WHERE IS HEAVEN?

Here are some things we know about heaven's location:

1.) It is separate from earth. "This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created." - Genesis 2:4. Throughout Genesis and the rest of the Bible, they are treated separately.

2.) It is up. "Then the LORD said to Moses, "I will rain down bread from heaven for you." - Exodus 16:4

"When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple." - 2 Chronicles 7:1

"Then John gave this testimony: "I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him." - John 1:32

3.) Angels are there. "There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it." - Matthew 28:2

"See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven." - Matthew 18:10

4.) Many will see them connect. "And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men." - Revelation 13:13

"I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband." - Revelation 21:2

There's more, but I think this is a good start. I've heard one hypothesis that it is located near the belt of Orion
. I've heard another belief system say earth will turn into heaven, but this doesn't seem Biblically substantiated. I wouldn't recommend trying to get there on your own:

"Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the whole earth." - Genesis 11:4. Yeah...hopefully we all know what happened next.

Imagine for a moment that your child is killed by someone, the police capture the killer and find the gun that was used.

After the trial they bring you the gun and say, "look since this was the gun that killed your kid we think you should have it."

Do you take the gun and keep it close to you, putting it on a wallet chain so noone can steal it, and kiss it everyday remembering how this was the instrment used to strike your child dead? Or instead do you refuse the gun on the grounds that it will make you sick to look at it, and instead save a piece of memorabilia, like a favorite hat, to remember your kid?

Would you hold Jesus Christ at a higher or lower level of respect as your kid?

You don't understand, do you? It's like this...Christianity is all about sacrifice, self-death, in fact. The cross is a symbol of that sacrifice. Also that was an off-topic post and the mods will be notified.

Nice analagy. I came up with this one recently:

Imagine that as a child you are playing outside in the front yard with a ball and suddenly it rolls out into the street. Without a thought, and being naive and what not, you run out into the street to fetch the ball at that moment, your mother see's a mack dump truck roaring down the highway straight for you, her little kid....she then runs out and grabs you and throws you out of the way, however in the process of saving you she is killed by the speeding truck unable to stop. Her body is badly mingled, her head decapitated, and blood with bits of her body are covering the chrome grill of the dump truck...would you then recover this bloody grill and then keep it for the rest of your life hanging up on your wall surrounded by flowers and draped with fine linen and all that under a spot light? Would you craft jewelry in the shape of a mack truck radiator grill and wear to the market? Would others in the neighborhood who witnessed this increadible sacrifice also get grills and hang them up all over their properties? Would stores spring up all over the town and state selling chrome grills and grill statues and bloody mack trucks? Afterall the grill serves as a reminder of how this wonderful person sacrificed even her life so that you may live...

It's obsurd. Of course not. It would be morbid and not appropriate. In fact it might just land someone in a manditory stay at the looney bin. Yet, isn't this kind of similar to what Christendom has done?
