After some digging, I can confirm that is what used to be known as RAF Faldingworth. It has been closed in 1972.

Here is a link:

There are no nuclear arms there and there hasn't been since 1969 when the RN took over the Nuclear deterrent role. Don't get all excited!!

Thats it! That's the structure that I was trying to link too. It's right at the centre of the earthquake. I didn't know what it was.

Its all a bit strange though dont you think.I wonder if someone could have been using it for alterior motives and using it as a base for their operations and dropped a clanger so to speak.

The epicenter is not at RAF Faldingworth. It is actually at a farm a few miles away.

RAF Faldingworth has been disused for years, except for some ordnance storage. All nuclear weapons processing is done at Aldermaston and Burghfield in Berkshire, near where I live.

I really don;t see why your trying to make 1 + 1 = 76895784390

Sleep or not to sleep Sleep or not to sleep that is the question.

Awake she loves me, asleep she does not, Awake she loves me, asleep she does not.

What am i going to do hold the house up while it falls or me or do I sleep outside?

Earthquakes in Diverse places, that's what Jesus said.

The UK will probably try and put a ban on dirt now
But honestly, first time I felt that, visiting family in San Diego I almost flew out my jammies.

There are earthquakes somewhere in the British Isles most days of the year - though most are far to weak to be noticed. By our standards this was a biggie with widespread reports of ornaments shaking on shelves .....

Annoyingly I slept right through it
Although the Dudley earthquake of 2002 woke me up.

Strange that these two quakes happeed at almost exactly the same time of day and at the same magnitude...

Remember the Dudley Earthquake Appeal?

"At 00:54 on Monday 23rd September an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale hit Dudley, West Midlands, causing untold disruption and distress.

Many were woken well before their giro arrived.
Several priceless collections of momentos from the Balearics and Spanish Costas were damaged.
Three areas of historic and scientifically significant litter were disturbed.
Thousands are confused and bewildered, trying to come to terms with the fact that something interesting has happened in Dudley.

Initial estimates suggest that the cost of damage could total in excess of £34.50.

One resident, Donna-Marie Dutton, a 17-year-old mother-of-three said: "It was such a shock, little Chantal-Leanne came running into my bedroom crying. My youngest two, Tyler-Morgan and Megan-Storm slept through it. My punter got dressed and left. I was still shaking when I was watching Trisha the next morning."

According to police however, looting, mugging and joyriding did carry on as normal.

The British Red Cross have so far managed to ship 4000 crates of Sunny Delight to the area to help the stricken masses.

Rescue workers are still sifting through the rubble and have found large quantities of personal belongings, including benefit books, heroin, and jewellery from Elizabeth Duke at Argos."

Sounds pretty scary.

And please, please, please nobody bring up or blame this on some Planet X somehow.

Well I'm afraid a knowledge of astrophysiscs here helps. At this time year the earth is tilted with the North pole away from the sun so that at night the UK is nearer the ecliptic plane. Now Nibiru is on the opposite side of the sun at present. So at the time of the tremor Yorkshire, the sun and Nibiriu were in perfect alignment and this setup a cosmic resonance resulting in the tremor.

FYI, as Nibiru gets closer the tremors will increase in frequency but decrerase in duration. So much so that by 2012 a massive pulse will hit the earth with the power of a million Hiroshimas. However, this will occur at about 2am GMT in August which means the pulse will Tunguska which in 1910 was marked by aliens as a warning.....

On Average per year there are about 13,000 4 to 4.9 magnitude quakes around the world. Nothing unusual there. About 35 per day anywhere.

So no conspiracy there I'm afraid..... or anything strange just another day on this great place called Earth.

Im also in St.helens and felt it, me and the missus was watching TV around 12:55am and we felt it and heard it sounded like a large Truck passing by our window. And there's me thinking it was caused by tectonic plates when all along it was that damn Nibiru.
looks like us British are gona have to buy in more tea bags if were gona save the earth from planet Nibiru.

Me and my other half felt the quake in Maidenhead, Buckinghamshire. It was strong enough to wake both of us up, I'm a light sleeper but he can sleep through anything.

I thought we had a vibrating bed or something for a moment. Very odd. It literatly made me jump out of sleep when it started.

Of course what I felt was nothing compared to the guy who had his chimney come through his roof as a result of the quake!

Did anyone hear of a similar quake type thing happen on Saturday night, in the South East of England? My other half had a weird experience whilst I was away at the weekend and we are trying to get to the bottom of it.

I'm in Mansfield too, was watching an episode of Smallville when my chair started to vibrate, then I heard the deep rumbling noise and the whole room started to shake! No real damage but a few bottles fell off the shelves in the bathroom, thankfully nothing breakable though

I'm in London and I felt it, only weird thing me and my gf cant understand is that the time the quake is reported to have ocurred, is about an hour later than when we felt it.

We felt something odd at about 11:30pm last night, but it was more like an energy wobble... we both just stopped and looked at each other and said... "what the hell is that ?" ... had us well freaked out!

Nothing strange ? .. when was the last earthquake the UK experienced ?
20, maybe 30 years ?

Of course there are a lot of quakes all the time, but they occur on the same faultlines and techtonic plates, this is strange because there isn't any dodgy techtonic plates in the UK. It's strange if we get a good thunder storm for petes sake! :p

I felt the room shake and my computer monitor wobbled on its stand, just before 1am this morning. I'm in North Yorkshire.
