And he is also spreading a misconception that America is everything. No country wants America to do good as well as bad to them.
Everyone is powerful, some are much more powerful,. only thing is they don't show off.

To return to the original topic--Farrakhan's support of Obama: guilt by association is a logical fallacy. It's like saying Hitler liked dogs, so if Obama likes dogs he's like Hitler. Anyway, Obama has already stated he doesn't agree with everything Farrakhan says. You can't condemn a man because one of his supporters is controversial. Farrakhan will undoubtedly bring Obama some votes, but he is likely to lose many more.

I've been reading about Obama for over three years. He's been a star in the Democratic party for some time. He's hardly vague or secretive; he's very clear about the kind of change he wants and how he plans to achieve it. Also, he's a senator from Illinois, and has a senate website that lists his stand on different issues, his voting record, etc. IMO a lot of people have only listened to small clips of his speeches and probably haven't seen any of the debates.

Some people are almost superstitious about him--they agree he can do great things but are sure they will be terrible things, like Jim Jones and Jonestown. He's just a man, but an exceptionally intelligent and sincere one.

Good to know what idiots are behind obama

America is a hypocrite land, if a black is a racist who follows the nation of islam (a cult who believes all whites must be killed) he is hailed and given access to everything.

a quote from him:

''While Malcolm X was a member of the Nation of Islam, he also preached that black people were genetically superior to white people.

"Thoughtful white people know they are inferior to Black people.''

anti-racist are hypocrites, they will not say # about anti-white racism.

''In response to Farrakhan's speech, Nathan Pearlmutter, then Chair of the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith (ADL) referred to Minister Farrakhan as the new "Black Hitler" and prominent Jewish journalist Nat Hentoff, while a guest on a New York radio talk-show, also characterized the Muslim leader as a "Black Hitler."

''"Wicked and false Jews"
At an NOI-sponsored event in February 2006, Farrakhan provoked accusations of antisemitism in Illinois by stating that "These false Jews promote the filth of Hollywood. It's the wicked Jews, the false Jews that are promoting lesbianism, homosexuality, [and] Zionists have manipulated Bush and the American government [on the war in Iraq]"

Its something more and more people see now: Most Obama voters are racists

Don't forget that Obama is pro-israel. He supports israeli war crimes and terrorism, so don't hope for real change with Obama.

Update and follow up:www.newsmax.com...

It's one thing for Barack Obama to have a minister, friend, and sounding board who supports and admires Louis Farrakhan and whose church gave him an award.

It’s another thing for Obama to dissemble about it.

Much as most of us would appreciate the symbolism of a black man ascending to the presidency, what we have in Barack Obama is a slippery politician whose closeness to Wright underscores his radical record. Aside from showing poor judgment, it is inconceivable that Obama could be so close to Wright for more than two decades and not share at least some of his views.

Obama’s longtime ties to Wright, his failure to forthrightly condemn him, and his dissembling on his church’s award to Farrakhan only confirm that Obama is not to be trusted in the White House.

Alas Ron Paul we hardly knew ye.

The last two posts directly contradict each other.

Which is it? Is he pro-Israel or anti-Israel?

He is a politician.

Palestinian people suffer-but from not recognizing Israel
Q: You said recently, "No one is suffering more than the Palestinian people." Do you stand by that remark?
A: Well, keep in mind what the remark actually, if you had the whole thing, said. And what I said is nobody has suffered more than the Palestinian people from the failure of the Palestinian leadership to recognize Israel, to renounce violence, and to get serious about negotiating peace and security for the region. Israel is the linchpin of much of our efforts in the Middle East.

Seems like support to me.

And there is this:

Supports Israel's self-defense; but distrusted by Israelis
The Israeli newspaper "Haaretz" convened a panel of experts to assess and track 2008 presidential candidates and evaluate "whom they consider best for Israel." In Sept. 2006, Obama came in dead last, 18th in a field of 18. However, Haaretz also notes that during the 2006 Israel-Lebanon war, Obama was careful to defend Israel's right to defend itself against Hezbollah's attacks.
Pro: Obama will be uniquely positioned to resolve the Israeli-Arab conflict.
A liberal Democrat who is not trusted by Israeli experts is exactly what the US and the world needs. Only by treating Palestinian rights with dignity can the Middle East problem be resolved.

Con: President Obama will be widely detested in the Muslim world.
If Obama comes to power, it will be on the basis of blending authentic Christian religiosity with an inspiring message of tolerance and diversity. Unfortunately, this message runs exactly opposite to the core values of fundamentalist Islam.

"Supporting Israel's right to self-defense" is synonymous to saying "Seeing israeli land theft and deportation of 5.5 million palestinians as legal"

Obama is unelectable by any moral standard (but so are Hillary and McCain too)
