A heartfelt Thank You

I just wanted to say a very heartfelt Thank You to the staff and. Twice in less than a month I have had major family related problems (two separate family members, both bad problems). Within a couple of hours of mentioning them to the folks in chat, I have had various staff members send me messages of support, offers of prayers, and whatever help they could give me. The members of this board have gotten me through some rough times before, which is why I came back after a short hiatus when things started to go wrong for me again.

Thank you staff, and other members that have gotten me through the last couple of years (you guys know who you are). I know I've never met any of you in person, but you guys mean a lot to me now.

I don't know what kinds of things you have been going through but I wish you and your family the best. I have go agree the staff at ATS is the best on the internet hands down.

The members here truly are the HEART of ATS. No matter what you have going on in your life you have a rally of support behind you here. We all do.

The Internet is a wonderful thing. I have friends here that I haven't spent any time with in RL and consider very close friends. We at ATS are a family. That doesn't mean we always get along but when push comes to shove, true members are here for each other. Truly unique.

Going better? *laugh* They're insanely worse right now. I'm facing a very bad situation with one of my loved ones, that I'm very far away from, and can do nothing about except wait and hold my breath. But don't worry, I forgive you for that comment.

I came in here to be supportive, but then I realized that anything I post will make you laugh your butt off while all the other members glare at me and say 'How insensitive!'.

It had something to do with suicide caribou, killing puppies and karma.

The first problem I was going through is getting better. He is getting the help he needs, and he seems to be bouncing back. This problem came up last week, and this one is going to take all I can to get through it I think. Things are looking ok for now, but it would be very easy for her to get sick again, and it's going to be pretty rough for awhile until we figure out WHY it's happening.

Ah god Duzey you can always make me laugh when I feel my worst. You're one of the ones that's helped me keep my sanity when things were at their most absurd.

Quick update, she's still in the hospital. The dr is talking about letting her out soon, but don't know when. They're keeping a close eye on her. No stress, meds, etc. Best case, on meds for the rest of her life. Worst case, transplant required. We're both hanging in there, but both kinda scared, and dealing with the whole separation thing too.

Zap, thanks for keeping us all up to date. Keep positive, I will keep preying for you both, and sending best wishes. Take care nuts.
