Who would want to live on Mars?

i think it would be less egotistical to be abit humble...

and genetically change our own bodies.. (or those going to mars).. to be able to breathe CO2, use photosynthesis within our own skin.... BEFORE we go there and try to take on the huge plan of completely terraforming the entire planet.... learn about the planet up-close for awhile ... make some decade long weather-geology trend reports...

how bout we live there as efficiently as possible, before we jump on the terraforming kick.

I have wanted to live on Mars since the mid '80s, explore other worlds since the '60s, so would I go? YES. Imagine living on a pristine world where you could grow your own atmosphere, then terra-form it to a specific population and maintain that population with a religious fervor, and finally defend it from all intruders foreign and other-worldly.

So would I live there? Compared to currently living on Earth? YES.
