Nice pic, I wonder who has the original, those old prints can have a very close grain and enlarge very well.

You forgot to mention what the heck is this

hey sherpa,

I remembered where I saw those pre-WWII UFO photos. It was the Secret Space DVD, and the photos appear to have originated from some book.

Never the less I have taken couple of screengrabs for everyone to see, please see them at:

Quite convincing 45 min well made vid. And honestly by mechanical and engineer thinking could have quite be done with enough research and testing all IMO.

That was a great documentary, cheers for that! Makes very similar claims to a Channel 4 (UK) Documentary that was made a couple of years back. They're obviously finding more and more documents e.t.c. that prove these saucers are man made.

Obviously by now they've moved on to bigger and better things technology-wise. It can be screamed until one is blue in the face but "believers" will refuse to believe it. Oh the irony!

Darn it amigo, another load of photos to try to find the origins for.

But seriously thanks for tracking them down and providing a link, I will post them here for easier viewing

All images are credit to the authors of Secret Space DVD or the original authors of the material they were first displayed in.

Well I certainly hope for your sake that's not true as most of Ufology theories are based on heavily blacked-out documents.

Good day to you sir.

The images above are from the DVD title "Secret Space " and appears to be available on youtube.

They reside in part 2 so just to view them in context I will post it below.

I honestly don't think that author of Secret Space could've fabricated those photos since he captured most of them from a printed book to begin with. So the photos are printed elsewhere with possibly more details (names of people who took them).

Where are all the UFO buffs now, surely someone would know which book this is printed in?

It is just remarkable that there were so many sightings in the pre-UFO (1947) era, with various crafts and numerous locations. If we consider that back then there were no mass communication mediums like today, an organized hoax seems implausible. Besides, there must be even more photos lurking in old family albums, but who's gonna find the right people and look through all those photos...

Well I have to admit there does seem to be plenty of them so I wonder how many books were involved.

The only way I can see how they could be hoaxed is if an old photo or negative was altered at a much later date.

It is a pity no one has examined these on the internet somewhere , I suppose there is just to much modern material coming along these days for people to think much about older photos.

I suppose if you could get hold of the originals they would probably be better quality than the usual youtube fare aswell.

I found this link while researching a similiar subject and felt compelled to add this:greyfalcon.us...

While there can be no question that the business and financial network created by Bormann wields a certain amount of power even today, evidence for the existence of a major Nazi base containing UFOs is virtually nonexistent, consisting primarily of the known exploration of Antarctica’s Queen Maude Land --- renamed Neuschwabenland by the Germans --- in 1938 and some unverified statements.

This is part of an An Excerpt From 'Alien Agenda' by fellow ATSer Jim Marrs.

It was included in the references section of this link:www.projectcamelot.org...

Great thread folks - I got so absorbed in this one I completely ignored my original task for a couple of hours.

fascinating thread. I have come across many of the same things discussed in this topic. and while I have thus far seen no mention to Hans Kammler, the doubts of nazi technology and war production was at its peak nearest the end of the war and rely heavily on this man.

Where he ended up, the nazi ufo phenomenon did so too.

Hopefully, some of the members in this discussion can shed some light 6 months since the last post as I search upon my own.

Germany definitely had more going on in Antarctica than it is believed. Admiral Byrd's findings, much of which is still classified to this day, are proof.

Also, I have a quote from Joseph Farrel's book "reich of the black sun" where hitler's admiral donitz is quoted as telling of technology rising from the ice near argentina (where several german u-boats were still posted and conducted business after the surrender, even when in proximity of the british). i will have to find this, i think there is plenty more to this story!

Dear Sherpa,

I feel the need to correct your words, since I am responsible for the homepage www.thuletempel.org:

We are NOT the "Thule-Society" (Thule-Gesellschaft) but the THULE-TEMPEL, and not politically but SPIRITUALLY orientated.

The name Thule just refers to the old land on earth, where men once happily lived, and which we believe in existed somehow (may be the same as "Helgoland" or even "Atlantis" -who knows...).

We represent a new spiritual community, based on very old and some newer writings (from Babylonia, Carthago, the REAL Templars etc.), whose main topic is the so-called "Teaching of ILU" (="Teaching of Divine Light"; in German: "Ilu-Lehre" or "Lehre vom Göttlichen Licht").
We stand for: LOVE, TRUTH, JUSTICE, FORGIVENESS, KINDNESS, MERCY, and SELF-SACRIFICE (in German: "Liebe, Wahrheit, Gerechtigkeit, Vergebung, Güte, Erbarmung und Selbstaufopferung") and try to LIVE it.

We are also "early Christians" like Marcion, so we believe that god came to earth as "Jesus Christus".

Of course, some of this information was (ab)used during the first half of the 20ieth Century in particular. (And you are obviously collecting pictures here to show evidence that there was positive usage as well).
But the main point is that the name "Thule" and its spiritual background are much older than a hundred years (partly hundreds of thousand years) and that is where we derive our belief from.

Yours sincerely,

Habicht
thuletempel.org

PS: "Causa Nostra" ist NOT the "Vril-Gesellschaft" but a circle of friends with similar attitudes shown on their homepage.

My apoligies Habicht for not replying earlier to your informative post and
thank you for putting into context the current modus operandi and beliefs of the Thule Temple and also the Causa Nostra.

Clearly the original organisations have lent a mystique to the whole concept of nazi ufo's and I have not personally sought to cause offence to any current societies or organisations, the pursuits of both organisations sound admirable indeed and it is nice to get an inside line on them.

On a side note was you aware of the alledged connections with this subject before readingt this thread ?

Kind Regards

Greyfalcon is Rob Arndt's website and is an incredible source of intrigueing information, it takes days to get through it all.

I have spoken to him on a couple of occasions by email about some of these pictures and he has helped me identify exactly what they are on at least one occasion I have also discussed "die glocke" the nazi bell with him and found him very approachable.

I often think the content on the website would make a good reference book to a lot of fringe inventions created by Germany in the second world war.

That particular story at camelot would if proven true seem to validate the Antartic base but like so many of these things, that is unlikely to happen.

If he worked at Peenamunde Research Base he may not have known about it, nor had the clearance to know. There were many different Nazi research bases through out the war that developed secret aircraft be it jet fighters or flying discs. If you have not yet looked into it, i suggest you dig into the research of Wenceslaus mine on the polish/czech border. That was the famous site for Die Glocke or The Bell yet its wondered of the other discs had been tested there. Unfortunately, when Hans Kammler blew up the mines alot of technologies and men were left behind and it is now full of water and rocks blocking the path. but if anyone is ever able to excavate it, i almost assure you there will be Bell prototypes in there.

Something that has been bothering me in regards to the Nazi UFOs/Vril Society stories floating around, (found at discaircraft.com.greyfalcon.us as well as any other site found by googling "vril society") speaking of questionable validity in photographs, is the actual supposed pictures of the Vril-Damen themselves. I have seen 2 pictures out of dozens that actually appear to be of women with the long hair that could actually be from the 40s, and those two look very authentic. But every other picture claiming to be "the Aryan beuty Maria Ostric" or Sigrun or "alleged post-war Vril member Vera" are absolutely ridiculous. The later shows a woman in a BIKINI that could not have been from earlier than the 70s, and most of the other pictures appear to be circa 1960s.
I don't know what bothers me worse, the fact that these are so blatantly obviously NOT photos of these women, or the fact that apparently I am the 1st one to speak up and say um, wtf.

One aircraft that tends to be totally forgotten and was most assuredly developed from purloining German WW2 designs, long before anyone else really managed it, was this.. The Avro Vulcan V Bomber. This baby could out fly any fighter in the 35,000 feet and above. Its' huge wing meant it could grab way more air than any fighter with it's stubby little wings. It performed more like a fighter than a bomber.
