BlackBerry out of service in North America

www.cnn.com

NEW YORK (AP) -- An outage has disconnected BlackBerry smart phones across North America.

AT&T Inc. says the disruption Monday is affecting all wireless carriers. AT&T first learned about the problem at about 3:30 p.m. ET.

There's no word on the cause or when the problem might be fixed.

My daughter just bought a Blackberry phone last week and was pretty upset this morning when she had a message from them saying her service was interupted.

I also was speaking with an AT&T employee this morning regarding my home service and the customer service employee said they had been having problems all morning with their systems as well as far as people being on hold, etc.

Sure are alot of communicaton problems lately.

My internet connection was lost for awhile today also but it has been fixed.

hmmm...my husband's blackberry seemed to be working fine today. Unless it was only this morning that the service was interrupted...he has his phone off during the day.

Well I wonder if it's got something to do with this thread???

www.abovetopsecret.com...

If this is the case,... it's just our friendly ol' NSA probably updating hardware components to protect us from the "terrorists"

I can imagine that this is just the beginning though.

Amazing that the three major networks have not mentioned this yet!

Again? Didn't this happen a while back?

Anyways, it should be good to separate the people from the berries for a bit, they have a bad habit of becoming addictive.

Ok, ABC Nightly News just said that it will take time to get the messages sent to all in the U.S. that have BlackBerries due to the outage.

This is fairly big news considering how many of our 'leaders' use Blackberrys.

I agree, it seems a bit tit for tat over the undersea cables, timing wise.

all to often we jump to conclusions much like our media and then we have to go back and retract it.

before we belive any thing we should look for alittle prof, that is how we deny igonrance

that question is simple just read my last post

one thing happens to one person and all the sudden people are jumping to conclusions withouth thinking about it. they use the same media sources that the day before they didnt trust. it really is a true mistiry to me.
