Oh, you're not new? That's good to know. I won't treat you like a noob then.. lol.

I'm telling ya, it seems like this story is getting more and more interesting by the day. I've got this one on my radar and thanks again for posting those articles! Sorrell is one to watch. He sounds like he's mad as hell right now and isn't going to take it any longer.. and GOOD for him!

Good for him not taking any guff from these swine. He should have shot the perp in his front yard when he had the chance. Reminds me of the movie 'The Insider' the same situation transpired in terms of harassment. In the middle of the night a cloaked figure appeared on the property of the whistleblower and left one bullet in his mailbox letting him know we can kill you anytime we want. He rebuffed their threats and continued on and by going public enough that kept him safe I hope Ricky does the same. The more pressure they apply to him the more exposure he should shine on them. Don't give in to the fear.

As an aside I had no idea he has had 4 sightings of the object. I just thought it appeared that one day and everyone saw it and that was it. Why does it keep returning to his area?

I was wrong about him if he is the character on the news I saw whose first impulse it was to shoot at the disk. He's smarter and braver than I thought.

Ok, so in the articles he states that he had captured some footage of this craft on his cell phone, and seen footage that other people have captured. My question is, where is this footage? I would like to see what he is being harassed for before I pass judgment on whether or not this guys story is legit.

The footage isn't that great I've seen it. It's cell phone footage. It's a light in a dark sky and no way to gauge distance or size and the news commentators remark that he sounds drunk (which he kind of does). It's on another thread here somewhere lemme see if I can find it...

hmmmm... the link doesn't seem to be working. I think the video was hosted on foxnews.com and it appears to have been taken down already.

I know the cell phone video you're talking about and that was NOT taken by Ricky Sorrells so what does your post have to do with anything?

You haven't seen what he has. He saw a huge craft in day light 300 feet above him. That's not a light spec in the night sky.

I find it hard to believe Sorrels accusations

if it was a military experiment/aircraft, all they would have to do is sit Mr. Sorrels in a room and explain to him that this was a military experiment, and for the sake of national security you shouldn't speak anymore about this

and they would do the same even if it were an ET aircraft

doesn't seem logical, or even possible for the military to threaten him

seems to me someone (Mr. Sorrels) is out for their 15 MoF

You've come to that conclusion rather quick.

Why not wait to hear more of what he has to say before drawing a conclusion?

okay, i highly doubt that this guy is making this stuff up. He seems like the type of guy that would rather be left alone then deal with people, him being a rancher. I doubt he is looking for a claim to fame.

I see this as the start of a thread going into the downward spiral of bickering and he said she said. Can we get a mod in here to calm this down before it gets out of control?

this thread is to important for simple bickering.

Yes, if this news is "real", and at this point there is no reason to think otherwise, it is worth respecting.

I have to ask, how many of you would like to be treated as a liar or worse for making a report?

We will stick to the topic and bickering of a useless nature will be viewed dimly, by either side in this.

This is actually fairly surprising, as harassment does not seem the best course of action against a simple "UFO Witness". This of course is if the story is true, and in fact the harassment is actually taking place.

IF this story is entirely true, then there are better avenues of approach aside from harassing the witness. Harassment is an understandable fact for let's say an insider about to expose Classified material. However, all that we have here is a witness to an unknown aerial craft. Harassing him will just add validity to his case, and do a cover-up more harm.

Just denying what occured would be the best approach. As long as no one has any photos or videos of what occured, what is there to disprove a denial?

On the same note, why is there no video evidence of the "harassment"?

No worries. I'll be getting more info, and hopefully this will be on the news soon. If you hear/see something having to do with this, post it here.

Don't forget that they only contacted him after he talked to the press, so the Air Force or whoever, already knew that he was willing to talk to the press about what he saw.

Knowing that, I doubt they would risk telling him what happened, or giving him some other cover story and asking him to be quiet and he'd end up on the news saying "The military/AF told me this is what happened and told me to keep quiet!".

At least this way they didn't tell him anything and just tried to shut him up... allegedly remember.

The Air Force or whoever, have decades of experience harassing and shutting people up, so they know what they're doing.

Okay, first of all, I seem to remember in a post (a while back on the stephensville threads) that somebody said this guy was behind a hoax a long time ago. I will research and see what I come up with. I am not trying to start a fight, just realizing that it will do more harm than good for our BIG EVIDENCE to be from somebody who is easily discredited. It doesn't help that he reported exclusively to "she-who-must-not-be-named" and is only now reaching out to others. I would love to see his video though.
Now that I have that out of the way, I wanted to add that I do believe that this is the type of harrassment that one would expect. I know that the Clinton's harrassed witnesses in their different cases with these very same tactics(just giving an example, sorry) Also, it doesn't mean that the actual gov't is doing the harrassing. could be any number of outside agencies, MIB, etc. Now before you all go dismissing the clumsiness of how this has been handled,(the harrassment, I mean) just remember that the story may have just been relayed in a clumsy way, from a man unaccustomed to talking about such things.
-Jason

I will add a link if I can find it. Add: I think that was a different guy. can't find it now.

Has anyone mentioned that this sounds like a similar craft seen by the Texas folks... all 50 to 80 of them earlier in the year?

I have a friend down here outside of Houston who has suffered the same kind of harassment. My friend is worth hundreds of millions of dollars and is self-made. He started complaining about Apache helicopters buzzing his ranch about 6 months ago. He knows that he is the focus of these very low altitude passes over his property because on multiple occasions the Apaches have flown along side his truck just feet off the ground.

I have no idea why. I don't believe it has anything to do with UFO.

This guy obviously never read "Battles beneath the Earth", or "The Lear Statement". I believe John wrote in there something like.."If you ever see a UFO with the bright shiny lights..Dont approach it.. run like hell"[I would love to have that original quote from the doc. ]

Here you go:

A well planned invasion of Earth for it's resources and benefits would not begin with mass landings of ray-gun equipped aliens. A properly planned and executed invasion by a civilization thousands and probably hundreds of thousands of years in advance of us would most likely be complete before even a handful of people, say 12?, realized what was happening. No fuss, no muss. The best advice I can give you is this: Next time you see a flying saucer and are awed by its obvious display of technology and gorgeous lights of pure color - RUN LIKE HELL!

Wow. I hope he is documenting this harassment (videos/pictures/notes) and contacting his attorney. But, Im sure he did all of that before speaking to the press.

I bet his neighbors are fed up too w/ all the air activity!!

So far all we have is Mr. Sorrell's say-so on this matter. Intriguing, but nothing you can hand your hat on, and frankly, it doesn't add up. The government has far better ways to harass people, and no reason to do so in this case.

Oldest trick in the book. Just look at your reaction.

Now that he's being harassed, people will think he's crazy when he opens his mouth. Now everything he says is suspect and nobody will believe a thing.

Case closed, problem solved.
