There’s a lot of hysteria jumping off of the internet right now; what portion of the internet is still operating. Let’s face it, previous severance of communications links have proven to be a prelude to war. There are all manner of theories chasing this event. Some of them are dark and dreadful if true.

Flagged, Starred. Excellent summation of events recently. My prayers are being extended in hopes that we can reach peace not only as a world but within ourselves!!

Excellent post! Something foul is about. I am downwind from the Superbowl and I have basic gear ready should I want to move in a hurry. I think it's just the Boyscout in me.

Not saying I'm scared or convinced that something bad is going to happen here today but it sure wouldn't surprise me. The fear drumbeat has become a fierce crescendo recently.

Edit to add this: About 10 minutes ago on the SuperBowl show a "live" chopper shot showing a pretty sunset was broadcast it was from last night, it is overcast and drizzly here.

It is my fervent hope that at least some of us eaters have been educated by this site to at least know when something runs a foul and we can construe the difference from just abject fear.
The cable cuts should be one of them.
Beware the ides of March.
This administration has run afoul, has not 'completed its mission' and another pearl harbor event is in the making.
Is this fact? Of course not. Could deep blue see it coming? You betcha.
I believe America is in itself wholesome enough to come together in the gathering crises that we WILL face. And effect the tide.

Just saw two f-16's from Luke AFB arc around north of here and run real hot to the southeast. Hope they are running cap for the blue angels halftime show or something.....

RIGHT ON!!! What better way to control the Middle East than to destabilize it, traffic the resources on the black market and create so much chaos in order to fend off any other interest there may have been in the region. It would be important to keep China from making any deals there.

I find it interesting that roughly 90% of the herion coming into this country over Mexican borders is from Afghanastan. Now that law enforcement nationwide has put a real dent into the production of meth labs in this country we now have it flooding over the border from...you guessed it Mexico. Bankers profit from war, black market products, then bankrupting individuals in order to steal what ever little bit of wealth they had.

I used to live in Austin Texas, left in 2004 but returned just a month ago. Police, police and more police. All the wonderful toll roads they have built down there much of it owned by foriegn interest has the most sophisticated survellance up and operating. I knew when Bush was elected that he would introduce his speciall brand of dictatorship to the rest of the world. Really....How could anyone vote for someone that signed so many death warants with such ease.

Great thread and makes a lot of sense and scares the hell outta me and I dont scare easy lol. I guesss it is just a matter of when "it" is going to happen and what "it" is gonna be and I even hate to sound paranoid like that but what the heck has been going down since I can remember has not felt right.

Ummm... doesn't anybody read links anymore?

Everyone starred (x8) and flagged (x7) this thing without realising it was copy pasted from another site?

Way to reward plagiarism!

I'm an idiot Gools. You should know that by now. But I respond to everyone, and this was a good respond regardless.

I do not really see what the big deal is here. I understand the hysteria of not knowing what is coming down the pike, we all do, but it is not a new feeling for anyone that has ever questioned the reality of life. I wonder at times if articles like this one only serve to perpetuate the vulnerability of a fragile society.

More and more jets going up around here in Phoenix right after Halftime . Running hot - going supersonic over parts the city. They don't usually do that. Luke AFB here is the f-16 training facility, and you can see flights of them any day from anywhere in the metro area if you know what your looking for. Most people never realize they are indeed fighters unless they are going supersonic- then they catch the average persons attention.

That is probably not 'a good thing'. One nice thing of net, we get feedback/data at near time.

Thanks for the info. It is way more important than the primitive gladiator exibition being displayed to the dumbed down mass mind.
I do not think there will be an incident, no one wants to awaken this viewing group of people to any questions or serious thinking post event.

Football is the least important thing people should be focusing on IMO.

post nicened up a bit

Speaking on radio as part of a military propaganda offensive, retired general Udi Shani said: "The next war will see a massive use of ballistic weapons against the whole of Israeli territory."

Israel Told To Prepare Rocket Rooms For War

Maybe they plan to bomb Iran, first cut the cables then drop the bombs? They are crazy like a fox. Hope nothing happens but their really are some weird things going on overseas. Bhutto killed, Iraq suicide bombers the other day, communication cables cut by someone and Israel ready to be bombed, for what? What are they planning?

Your words cut through my heart like a sword. Besides the Georgia/Florida College game the Super Bowl is the most important event in the year.

There was much more to contemplate in tonight's festivities than just the game. After the game the owners of the Giants were given a trophy. My ATS mind was busy speculating just how powerful the family was that owned the team.

You suggest in your post that we that watch and enjoy football are the dumb downed masses. That was a low blow to those of us that enjoy or have ever participated in the great game of football. It was the highlight of my high school and college days to march onto the football field at half time to perform and also to cheer the players on during the games.

I would venture to guess that the majority of true football affectionados are above average intelligence and achievement.

The game tonight was a much needed respite away from the gloom and doom I am bombarded with daily.

Sorry this is off topic but I just had to respond to this post. Doesn't seem like there is much to respond to the OP as no statement was made, just a quote.

I doubt the OP was looking for any personal response, I think the content of the quote got this thread going, things we all should be pondering.

So, whatever happened because of these F-14's running hot over Phoenix? Any Phoenix Lights? What conspiracy was this?
