Just because people SAY they saw a mile-long object DOES NOT mean an actual, mile-long object was in the sky. You guys on this forum act like you saw the object yourselves, or at least have seen a clear video of it. Did I miss that part? Because I'm pretty sure none of you have seen the object or a clear video of the object.

For all we know, the people in Stephenville really might have misinterpreted what they saw... we have no way of knowing for sure at this time.

Let me know when a mile-long spacecraft hovers above San Francisco and there are hundreds of videos for me to look at... until then... have fun arguing and speculating...

Well said Diplomat.

Without videos or pictures we can't confirm what this people saw and yet I see people here talking about 1 mile long ufo's as if they had seen it with their own eyes. Besides with the many different descriptions the witnesses gave about what they saw, I can't really trust them at all.

Im in the Air Force, and let me tell you this is a huge crock of crap.

No way, one, would they not know that they had 10 jets out training, and two, 10 F-16's do not look like a UFO, nor could they be mistaken as one by anyone with half a brain.

They are loud, and definitely sound like jets.....10 of them in the sky at the same time would have been extremely loud.

Plus, I worked at a major F-16 base for 5 years, where they flew missions every day, and never were there 10 in the same place at the same time. They usually went out 2 or 4 at a time.

This is just fishy, and really is insulting to our intelligence. Im not saying that it really was a UFO, or claiming to know what happened, but it wasnt 10 F-16's.

I live right by LAFB and f-16s and f-22s pass by my house all the time...
not only are both planes loud, but at max i only see 4 together!
to see 10!!! i can only imagine how loud that is!

This is such bull crap and they think they're going to get away with it!

www.yahoo.com...

F-16s were the UFOs?

People saw UFOs as close as 300 feet from them and made no noise.

Will the Air Force really get away with this?

don't you think the main cover up is not the fact that people saw a UFO, but the fact that the military denied all of it and had "no idea" that there were 10 $10,000,000 jets out training?

This is such crap!

hosted.ap.org...

The Air Force looks dumb. They can't get their facts straight, and what they saw the people saw makes no sense. No one believes them anymore...

Yes there is plenty of conflicting witness reports so we can't be exactly sure what was out there, but at the same time none of the reports were of 10 F-16s. Don't you think out of all the witnesses one would be able to identify a conventional aircraft by sight or sound? Instead, one of the things that every witness has corroborated I believe (I will need to check) is that this craft was silent. Sure it's very likely that this thing was not a mile long and it's just as likely that it was probably a test vehicle of some kind, but at the same time you cannot believe that all of these witnesses not only forgot what a normal plane looks like, but they all also went deaf at the exact same time.

The Air Force said there was a miscommunication between bases or something like that... are you saying that is impossible? The government isn't exactly flawless at everything they do. I wouldn't be surprised if the Air Force honestly thought they didn't have any jets out there until they got the correct information...

O'Reily just said that w/ the Air Force admitting to the jets flying in the area, that his guests the other night were telling the truth. Say what you want about Bill, but he calls BS when he sees it.

lol, actually, im supprised we even have 10 jets in one place and they arent all off hunting the terrorists lol. jk.

I dunno man, I'm all for believing there was a UFO, i believe they exist and that the govt hides most of them when they find out.
But thats all my opinion.
I just think people are have a little common sense, its quite easy to tell if things in the sky are jets or not, just by the sound they make.
maybe i give them too much credit,
But i think flares would have been a better military excuse, as thats the one they usually go with with triangle UFOs that stretch a mile long and make no sound.

This is classic military misinformation. Who has not seen this all before?

The military making excuses about UFOs is like an CPA being the life of a cast party. (appologies to accountants everywhere. I'm sure some are exciting.)

What concerns me most here is the readiness of news directors to paste these stories up without comment. What tools these media people are. Bought and sold.

If this was a publicity war, I would hire Britney Spears to do a spot on UFOs. Sheeple would eat that up!
No more credible, but if truth cannot be given equal time, then why even entertain such lame comments from information officers, under orders from base commanders, who are just relaying orders from Pentagon news deflection experts?

It must have been a Project Mogul dummy who made the original statement.

I also believe that Aliens exist, but I do not believe this Stephenville case is very significant. I don't think there is anything legitimately connecting the Stephenville case to Extraterrestrials.

And I think maybe you do give them too much credit. I have no idea what those people saw, but who knows, maybe those jets with reflections from the Sun really appeared to be a big craft or something? Who knows... definitely not us...

I would like to hear the witnesses respond to the new Air Force statement though... that would be interesting...

It must be pretty demoralizing for the witnesses who saw that mile long UFO to be told by the Air Force that that's NOT what they (the witnesses) saw so it it will be interesting to hear their responses on that.

For something that BIG, I can't see them shrugging the whole thing off and going along with what the military is saying about this -- that's for sure!

When was the last time a mile long UFO has ever been reported by several witnesses??

Diplomat, no offense intended, but it doesn't work that way. The airspace over America, (at night especially), is completely controlled airspace. IFR.

You don't just loose or mix up aircraft between bases.

If someone says to me I saw a mile wide object in the sky, who am I to tell them they did not? You have the ability it seems to tell them they are not sure what they saw. May I ask how you are able to do that?

Check out my signature below by Dr. Wolf. When you start telling people that they didn't see what they saw, it's mind control.

The Lies of your Govenment regarding Ets and UFO's has gone on for to long.
The Truth shall set you free.

Those who believe the new Air Force updated story set yourself free.

The Air Force and those in Washington in places of power and in the highest levels of the DOD know what happened that day.

Again the truth shall set you free.

I am certain their are people in the media and elsewhere who will buy this story and not question it a bit.

The question is not was their a UFO or Spacecraft a mile long and a 1/2 mile wide the answer is their was .

The answer is clear that the Air Force has lied to the media and the people not just of this nation but all over the World where this story has appeared.

What will the Air Force do when 100's of UFOs or Spacecraft enter the atmosphere to show the People we are here and your Govenment has lied .

What will they do then?

I will read this updated report with the orginal report on my radio program sunday and show the listeners how the Air Force and the Govenment have lied about what happened in Texas and in general.

Its time for the lies to stop and let the people know the truth.

The truth shall set you free.

I just read my post that you quoted, and I didn't tell anyone what they saw. I said MAYBE what they saw was really some light reflections playing tricks on them, etc etc...

Just another cover up... I am disappointed, and it kind of makes me sad to know that we're so far away from disclosure.

Our society is subject psych ops all the time. The military wouldn't release such a transparent false statement without strategic reason. It's clear the explanation is crap, but why?

It looks like disclosure. What scares the hell out of me is that it seems to planned out. These days it seems every channel on the tube has a show about UFOs and aliens, even the Woman's entertainment channel has abduction stories. Larry King is a major voice in there disclosure project. Either the Gov is working together with the operators of these crafts or it is staging the whole thing.

Either way it looks like society is being conditioned for some big changes. The simple, juvenile-like, reverse psychology is part of the psych-op and is part of a deeper deception.

People, read between the lines here (and read my earlier post). I think the U.S. military is admitting that they had a test object out there and the 10 F-16s were escorting/protecting it.

I may be wrong on this, but do these news reports actually have a quote from an air force official that states "People mistook F-16s for UFOs"? Or do the news articles just infer that? If the airforce is just saying they had 10 F-16s out there at the time, what's the big deal? They're just fessing up that the public caught them in a military excercise (a rather grand one at that).

And if that's the case, who are we to assume we're so important that we should always be briefed on the government's latest most secret excersise? If you guys were in charge of this mission, would you come out and say, "You know what? You caught us. Even though no one got a clear shot of the thing - and therefore it's safe from our enemies studying it - here's what everybody saw that night [pulls back curtain to reveal mile-long ship]. So take as many snapshots and videos as you want and plaster them all over the web. We only spent 17 billion dollars of on this technology. Who cares if anybody in the world can dissect and reproduce it?"

GIMMEEE A BREAK!

You would make up some stupid sh*t about ANYTHING - a meteor, a comet, swamp gas, anything! And when people said, "YOU'RE COVERING THIS UP!", you'd say, "You know what? So what if I am?? What the hell are you gonna do about it??" And then just go on with your job.

Look at it from the other side. They have a commodity and a very important investment (of your money by the way) to protect. This is what they HAVE to do.
